im only 2 minutes in but im wondering if the oily make up remover is preventing the glue from sticking to zeh eyelid. 🤔 edit: ive never done this, but i bet if you wash the oils off with soap/water first everything will stick better. oil really fks with adhesives. but it looks really nice :)
I don't wear or own make up anymore though I do have an eyelash curler I tried once. It's about 4 years old. I keep it because it's purple and has some bling on it. It's pretty. I may use it for an art peice lol. This was amazing to watch though....

I use the eyelash "enhancing serum" (geez that sounds like a weenie ad), and it works really well for me. I have gorgeous eyelashes. Which is not prideful for me to say because I buy stuff to make them gorgeous!! GORGEOUS!!!
I don't even mess with false lashes. Astigmatism doesn't lend itself well to things near the eye. I can do a simple wingless liner and mascara, stab my eye at least once every time I do makeup

As an esthetician I understand your struggle with the glue. Sometimes it's doesn't work like you wanted. But you did a pretty job for someone who don't do it often. A tip use a tiny brush you will struggle less to apply the products
That's a good question honestly. Maybe it's because when you use a manual curler it doesn't curl them right from the base so they're less long? Just a wild guess.
I've basically been in lockdown for 443 days. I have Multiple Sclerosis which has kept me home all this time because it kills my immune system. I've gone out a handful of times but other than that I'm with you in lockdown. Lol
I have Crohn's disease and arthritis, I stay home even after the vaccine due to immune issues. I was told the vaccine is less effective for us with issues. Stay safe!!

This brought back memories of when an ex-gf used to make me sit and talk to her while she got ready for work. It's not quite the same because I'm just sitting here listening to Charlotte talk but it's close enough. I used to wake her up to make her talk to me while I got ready for work, but she needed the sleep I guess and it only took me about 10 minutes to get ready, as opposed to her 40-60 minutes so I just let her sleep after a couple attempts. Women, what are ya gonna do? You're stuck with them. lol.

Something that might help. With the glue on the back of the shield wait about 3 minutes for it to go tacky. As when it’s just wet and still a liquid it won’t stick to anything. Hope this helps 😊
Just redid mine recently but for the first time used the presticky eyelash perm rods (using with eyelash glue) and the shape came out way better and you can actually see what you're doing compared to the silicone molds. Still a hoot though Charlotte thank you!
Those eyelid pads won't stick to my lids either!!! I'm glad I wasn't the only one who had a hard time with this kit, I felt like such a failure 😂 ETA you made me snort laugh at the Russian sleep experiment part with that thing attached to your lid, you make me laugh so hard!!
I do this all the time..really scary at first and you have to figure out how to best keep the lashes fixated, but when you got it, it looks really great and is waaay less expensive than having it done.

The makeup remover you said was oily is probably why it wasnt sticking.oil residue is hard to get off wo a thorough washing.the wipes and sprays wont do it well.
I paid $60 for a lash lift, I got it done and at the end there was barely any difference to my eyelashes. The lady told me after ~she had finished~ that my eyelashes were too short to be permed. My eyelashes are relatively long, I don't wear eye makeup or anything. Regardless, I never went back there again -.- SKEMMED

Very educational- I didn't know such a thing existed. I just assumed people used those freakish eyelash curlers that my mother used.
You can do that too but this way they stay curled and you don’t have to curl them every morning
Those eyelash curlers are still used and are not that freakish. Just don't blink when you use one (ouch).
