If you do this again yourself here are some tips!
BEFORE:
- Avoid waterproof mascara for up to 72 hours before the treatment
- Avoid makeup within 24 hours of the treatment
- Use oil-free makeup remover to remove any residue and/or dirt you might have on your lashes
DURING:
- Try and get some gel pads to cover your bottom lashes (so your top ones don't stick to them) & close your eyes so that the fumes from the chemicals don't get in them and make your eyes go all watery
- Remember that naturally soft, fine and lightly coloured lashes need less time to process
- The smaller the rod/lift pads - the tighter/more dramatic the curl. The bigger the lift pads - the softer/more natural the curl
- Comb out your lashes with a spooly and make sure they are as straight as possible and don't touch each other
- Apply the treatment as close to the lash line as possible
AFTER:
- Avoid getting your lashes wet for the first 24 hours and try to avoid steam as well
- Avoid any oils, shampoos, lotions and creams near the eyes for the first 24 - 48 hours
- You can use regular mascara but avoid waterproof and other harsh products
- Try to be gentle with your lashes! No rubbing them and try not to sleep face down

Hi Soph, I’m a beauty therapist and I do this at work. It’s normal for the lashes to come off the pad, don’t worry 😂 if you want to tint your lashes I recommend doing it after the fixing lotion. Then after your all done avoiding anything hot near your face for 24 hours and also avoid rubbing them as well as this makes the perm come out. Hope this helps 😊 xx

Hey Sophie, firstly I felt the struggle 😂 I permed mine yesterday and my oh myyyyy is it annoying when your lashes ping off 🙈 I actually used cling film as the wrap and that helps the lashes to stay down and not peel off whilst your waiting for the 10 mins to pass! And secondly the Chanel bronzer is my favourite cream bronzer!! Would highly recommend. It gives you the most natural looking summer kissed tan! Definitely a must have 🥰
Hi! I bought the same kit because I saw a great review by Milabu. I did it today and it worked really well. My eyes watered a little but no burning. She shows how to use the plastic wrap - just a small piece to cover the lashes while the solutions sit will help hold them in place.
I do this for a living!! Here are some really helpful tips!! The Y tool actually has a comb on one of the tips use that to comb your lashes up with the glue so it will separate them and make sure they are straight up instead of fanned out! Dont put the solution past where the middle of the curl is because you can overprocess your lashes and they will look WONKY! They look so good for your first time! Keep your eye closed too, you can go blind if it get in there!! JUST BE SAFE! Lots of love💕💕

I actually bought this exact kit last week and gave myself a brow lift with that and I love it! So easy and cheap. You could try that too 🙌
That cerave sunscreen lotion thingy you showed at 1:47 caused me an allergic reaction or something, wore it like I would a regular sunscreen during my summer job outdoors (physical one) and got home, looked in the mirror and saw my cheeks completely swollen, bright red. Would not recommend! On top of the reaction, I burned. I do not burn that easy.
I've used the same kit, if you use your own preferred lash glue, solves your glue problems (coming unstuck and not easily removable)☺️
i get my lashes lifted all the time! i usually don't touch them for about 12 hours, then wash them with just water cause they kinda turn hard (the solutions and stuff, not all kinds do it) then i just brush them out everyday with a spoolie! i'm pretty glad this turned out okay, i was worried there for a moment 😂 can't wait for more content! ❤️
You absolutelly need the kinda new Maxfactor Miracle Sculpting Wands! The contour one is soooooo good. It's like the easiest cream contour/bronzer I've ever used

I am a lash lift tech too and mine always turn out fine but I can’t believe you can get these kits, somethings you need to be trained on. Anything that is to do with eyes is definitely one of them for me! The instructions for her don’t seem clear on the box xxx

I’ve had the Chanel bronzer for years was my first ever cream product and I still use it to this day everytime I do my makeup such a lovely product you deffo need to try it, I’ve also got the universal translucent powder it makes you look photoshopped!
Definitely recommend Chanel Tan de Soleil - it’s totally worth the price you get a lot of product and a little goes a long way will last ages mine does. Get a really soft blend x

I have been doing my own lash lifting with this kit for about a year now (every few months, just done my 5th treatment) and every time it gets easier! I would recommend using some betted eyelash glue, I bought one from superdrug!
So I tried a lash lift from Amazon (my eyelashes are really straight, like naturally down droopy straight that not even curling it or using waterproof mascara keeps it up) and it was my very first time, no experience or anything, and it actually went well, they're still there, no lashes fell out. I was thinking I'd be scared but I just went for it with ease.
No exaggeration - Soleil tan de Chanel is me FAVE makeup product of all time!
It’s so good at melting into your skin whether or not you have a proper base (no makeup makeup days for example) and the tone would be sooo perfect for your fake tanned skin🙌🙌🙌

I don’t know how you’ve done it, but I think you’re supposed to have you eyes closed at least as long as you wait the liquids to develop. I had my lashes only done by others, but it was burning almost the whole time although my eyes were closed, so I don’t really want to imagine how it must be with the eyes opened 😄

Kembows hi dear, I’ve got them done by a friend who has a certificate but she doesn’t have a lot of experience yet so that might be why. But after the treatment my eyes weren’t irritated in any way and the lifting lasted for a pretty long time
Oooo just a heads up if you're after the Chanel bronzer, Mel Thompson has just done a video where the 'new' version (which is supposed to be the exact same, just with a new name) is actually not! It doesn't work the same as the original and the ingredients are actually way different! X
i have the same set and my mum does them for me around every 2 weeks. much easier to do on someone else aha. we use cling film over the lotions as the plastic wrap and it seems to work fine💞💞

Soph I've tried the Chanel bronzer. I bought it on black Friday last year because it is so expensive and I've used it every day ever since. 1 tip it's better to stipple it on to the skin rather than buffing it. Also I think this pan size will last you absolutely ages! 👌🏼 Love you Soph! ❤️❤️❤️
I decided to use a birthday gift voucher, probably 5 years ago, on the Chanel Bronzer and it was a great purchase! I still use it to this day for going 'out out' and combine it with my Hoola bronzer.

you can use cling film for the "clear plastic sheet", which is what I used. I bought this kit. I also used it to laminate my brows and it turned out great.
I’ve got the Chanel bronzer and love it! It’s subtle but buildable which I prefer as I don’t like to be to heavy handed with bronzer! It blends like a dream and smells amazing 😃 also John Lewis has 20% off at the moment!

I have the Chanel bronzer! It’s basically the only non drugstore item I have but so so worth it! It deffo gives the kinda sun kissed bronzed look I think and can build up to be much darker if needed.... I know it’s spenny but I buy one once a year and it lasts at least 10 months, never going back🤣xox
I have the Chanel bronzer and it's so good and easy to blend. It's expensive but it's worth every penny because you get 30 grams of product and if you do the math the Chanel one is actually cheaper then Huda's (per gram) highly recommend

The Chanel bronzer... some people swear by it but it always moves my foundation. Also you have to dab it otherwise it will break up your foundation. I’ve thought about scraping out all the product to use it as a case to keep my lashes if I’m traveling haha
I loveeeeee the Chanel cream bronzer- it was so easy to use- it was my first cream product and I loveddddd it
Best to apply perm solution to close to the eye, Best in the centre and keep your eye closed as much as possible
Also paint the glue on the silicone thing and push the lashes on top

I bought the Chanel bronzer last year and I do like it but not as much as I thought I would. It’s quite orange on me as I’m really fair and I tend to only use it during summer (even though I’m still quite fair because I don’t get a tan).

I’m so early I don’t know what to say but I hope everyone is okay.
MY REAL EXPERIENCE WITH THIS KIT:
Okay I did this over the summer and at first I was happy-ish with the results but then they turned DISASTROUS. I fucked up the first eye to the point where they were so curled up that I couldn't even get mascara on them and it would just get all over my eyelids because of how curled they were. But that I just attributed to it being my first time and it was hard and awkward to do to yourself. The other eye went a little bit better and looked similar to how yours turned out. They toned down a little bit and I got a good week of pretty looking fanned out lashes.
HOWEVER.
After 1.5-2 ish weeks, the lashes started to lose their curl. But not all of them. I think the same thing happened to me where some of the lashes were popping off the pad while applying the solutions, so those ones didn't get "fixed" as much. So I was stuck with some lashes that were up and some that were basically deflated down, and when I'd apply mascara they'd basically look like this /__ and it was AWFUL. Curling them to try to match the other lashes didn't work and I had wonky eyelashes that didn't go back to normal for literally 2 months. DO NOT RECOMMEND. GOOD LOOKING LASHES FOR A WEEK IS NOT WORTH HAVING TO DEAL WITH THE HORRIBLE AFTERMATH OF THIS PRODUCT. WASTE OF $25 JUST GO GET THEM DONE LADIES

!!!! If your going to do this make sure you put the perm lotion at the root of the lashes and leave the glue at the top it works way better

I bought this before lockdown but to use it to do a DIY brow lamination because I saw someone else do it and I literally done it together, and it worked, I did try to tint them after and it started to sting so going to leave it til tomorrow and just cover them in oil and leave the brushed up, yous should try the brow lamination 💖
Another tip so your lashes won't fall and remain stick to the thing: put some decal paper on the top of them while you wait :) then, remove the paper with the oil. It definitely works
The chanel cream bronzer used to be soooo good but they recently reformulated it and its not as good any more :( btw ily💕💕💕💕

They worked really well!! You should order one of those eyebrow perm things that were really trendy to get done recently and try it at sophs salon haha.
Really great job! The only thing I would do differently is use a pair of cuticle pushers to pop the lashes on the pad as it’s easier than a flat stick ☺️
