People are being overworked and underpaid to supply Wish, and paying customers are not getting the product they ordered. Wish needs to stop.

Louise Taylor it just depends on what you buy. Don’t buy fancy stuff or expensive stuff for cheap. It will be a rip off. It’s too good to be true. But some more realistic low end type purchases are exactly as pictured. I’ve gotten some neat things from them. Forget getting an iPhone 11 for 100$ it isn’t going to happen.
Hah, everything I have bought from wish has been exactly as described, you just have to actually read the descriptions. And pay attention haha.

The problem with Wish and being able to trust the reviews is, Wish won’t allow you to post 1-2 star reviews or write a bad review. Every time I try to give an honest, negative review, it kicks me out of the review section. It’s so frustrating to not be able to trust the reviews!
Leave 4 or 5 star with a negative comment.
Also wish ( and other platforms) making fake reviews with bots ect. , paying for fake reviews, or even "offering" service/product for a positive/ 5 star review from someone who got a "free gift" ....soooo yah
I have noticed, when I shop on Wish, a picture is worth 1000 words. Many give the item excellent reviews but add an unflattering picture.

The naked dress would be fine for the bedroom or the beach. The pink dress without the second layer looks okay, for causal wear.

Wish makes cheap knockoff version of designer brand products and uses the actual designer brand photos.
Lioness006 they also rip off small artists.
I don't even consider their stuff until I see several photos from people wearing it in reviews; then i decide if I wanna pay for that level of quality.
That see through dress with the off the shoulder sleeves and spaghetti straps would be amazing as a bathing suit cover up for your honeymoon! 😊

Next time you try stuff on, make sure the background contrasts it. I was having a lot of trouble actually seeing the dresses very well. If your background was darker it would've been better. Even so, 👍 for you and your friends.

That's my biggest thing with these Wish Haul videos.. like ofc they're far from the only ones using sweatshop labour but i feel like i've seen much more "lol this is so bad who would make this" about the site (This isn't anything against Tina personally!!)

for my wedding, I bought a similar dress to the last one. from dhgate. I was able to send them all of my measurements and they supposedly made it custom for like $67. The dress that arrived fit wonderfully (because of the measurements but also because lace up allows more flexibility), but was a completely different texture/pattern/material for the bodice. I'm not a picky person so it was fine for me. I was very happy to save like $1000 for a wedding dress but I do believe if you are a particular person who cares very much about the details and money doesn't matter so much, shop for your dress in person. it'll save you some tears if you think you might be the kind of bride to cry about it.
I'm not sure why people are always so confused as to why the dresses don't look like the pictures. The manufacturers find a beautiful dress and *copy*/=/*steal* it to the "best" of their abilities with cheap fabrics and even cheaper, basically, slave labor.
And then you're suprised/dissapointed that items aren't fitted well..? Couture costs money, no clothes fit perfectly off the rack, not even good quality clothes.
Some clothes do fit really well right off the bat, but you need to either know your measurements really well or choose a brand that you know makes clothes that look good on you in most cases.
It makes me sad for the women who simply can't afford any dress but the cheap ones...
You don't need a wedding dress to get married
Thats not the Problem. There actually are a Lot of beautiful and high quality Low Budget Dresses. The Problem is that those brides want something very extra for very Low Budget. You can't expect a glittering, good fitting and high quality princess Dress for Low Budget.
Rather than wearing this I would learn some tailoring, buy some fabrics and make it myself.
where i live there were beautiful legit dresses, in a bridal shop reduced from £1000 to £100 :} i know 100 is still a lot for some but you can get bargains
Even if I could afford one I'd never spend a lot on a dress I'm only going to wear one day.
So the descriptions Wish gives are “key words “ so that it comes up when people search. Not the actual full description of dress.

Ngl I feel bad for the designers whose dresses are clearly being ripped off and their photos used to promote these knock off dresses

Randomly got this video on my feed, seeing it out of curiosity, and makes me think, what can you expect from such cheap dresses....? besides contributing to underpaid labour and massive waste and high pollution around the globe, because clearly, you won’t wear these on your wedding day..... this can be a good starting point to just drop these kind of shopping in general...everyone deserves better (yourself included!)

and why was the sheer dress image pixelated?? She was fully covered ... seeing her underwear through the dress is no big deal - her underwear is not an immodest or bare style. She's fully covered ... but having it pixelated one screen then not in another, was annoying to watch.

My mom has my grandma's wedding dress. My grandma was married in the late 1930's. Technically her dress was just as see though. She wore a slip under it but but the slip was not attached and was considered separate. Sadly, my Grandma cut the train off her dress and reworked the hem when she needed a fancy dress to wear to a different event later on. It is a gorgeous dress. When worn properly, it doesn't look indecent. I was shocked when my mom said the slip wasn't a part of the actual dress.

The sheer one if u wear with lining will be the best of all because it fitted perfectly u just need a silky long liner
I think the sheer one was one of my fave. You can fix it with a silk under it sewn in. The last 2 were nice as well. Last one needed to be fitted to u an the champagne one I would probably take the side straps off or both.
Thanks for the tryouts. These actually look pretty decent for the price points and would look nice on those that fit them the way they should fit. Buyers should just adjust the expectations when getting items at these price points.. obviously a $20 dress is not going to arrive looking like it's a $200 one.

That completely sheer one isn't that bad. You could make it work with a fitted nude colored strappless or spaghetti strap gown under it and then just take to a tailor to hem up the ends.

Keep the nearly naked dress for that night. The rest would go back - to me all looked like knock offs. The last one was fine. But I would still go to a bridal shop.

I laughed when you were making yourself shorter. My husband is 6ft 5, and I am 5ft 1, so that’s exactly how we looked when we got married. Hubby even had to kneel down on the camera box so we could get the pictures of us gazing into each other’s eyes 🤣
You should have gotten those mega clips they use on Say Yes to the Dress use to make the 👗 fit to your figure.
All that marathon of Say Yes to the Dress will finally make me a somewhat legit critic, so I can suggest that an A-line princess ballgown would look absolutely gorgeous on Tina! Maybe in satin so it would look more regal and timeless
As a wish star tips on buying things on wish I recommend you all buy the items with a little blue check mark on the item that is usually checked as the best quality item on wish!

You can use the see-through as a nightgown! The best one in my opinion, was the first. With a few alterations and changes, it could serve someone well. If budget is an issue, a second hand store or the special sales I think are preferable.

I would line the sheer one. The style was really nice, it just needed a lining. Easy fix if you sew; if not, a seamstress can do it. When I met my husband, I knew he ws the "one" when he stayed over one night early in our relationship on the pull-out couch, and in the morning my mama cat was on his back, nuzzling her nose in his neck. I found the perfect dress pattern and bought it in every size. I collected the fabric, lace, trims, silk-covered buttons, and put it all in a box labelled "married or buried, whatever comes first". Seventeen years later, we got married. I got my friend who has a bridal custom shop to make the dress. I asked her how much she wanted to do the job. She asked me how much did I want to pay her? Knowing that her husband had suffered a back injury and had recently gone on disability, I said "a grand". She said, "I'll take a grand". I was lovely. Still is. Most awesome wedding I ever went to, and it was my own.

I used to work at a high end bridal salon and all those photos from wish are dresses from designers we used to carry. I think they just used the photos and tried to copy it but failed miserably

It proves that Wish literally takes other peoples photos and recreates the garment from the photo without any real use of common sense. Like whoever created the one with one lace sleeve and one not clearly didn't pay attention to the dress having two straps.
