As an advanced builder I can absolutely say: Tomb Editor & it’s own TEN engine is the best our community could ever got! Thanks a lot for these tutorials to get everyone going and keep classic TR alive forever!
These videos are definitely very helpful! I'll need to watch them again once I actually try building anything (not anytime soon, unfortunately), but it's fun to just watch for now, how it all comes together :)
Small trick to create flyby camera more quickly: if you keep the previous one selected when creating the next one, the main properties (sequence, FOV, orientation, etc) will be carried over, and the number will be incremented automatically.
Thank you for these tutorials. I have had difficulty figuring out how to use TombEditor but figuring it out much faster now. I learned the original TRLE after much trial & error over the past 15 years!
Another trick for music track naming (which works for TRNG, but I don't remember if it's possible with classic TRLE): only the 3 first characters are used to identify them. This means you can add a description to the name of your files, as long as it starts with a 3-digits number (for example: "123 - Ambiance, windy outside.wav")
