The X7M60 felt faster in my test drive, and has a smoother transmission. IMO the GLS63 handles better, and the comfort mode is better (more airy). I avoided the X7M60 because of the smaller trunk space, no physical buttons, and the lack of space between the 2nd row captain's chairs to gain easy access to the third row. But you can't go wrong with either truck.
Nice video. In the 3th row of seats, should ajust the 2th row to the front. There was so much more extra space than needed on 2th row. That could be set foward with no problem, and "solve" the 3th row space for legs. So was a kind of unfair negative point to this SUV 3th row seats. Even to a giant person.

The ride I experienced in my last GLS test drive was disappointing, glad that changes were made to the suspension. I'm more of an inline-6 sorta guy so I drove the GLS 450, from there I only glance at the sticker prices! The changes made for the 2024 model year are quite handsome. Take care with the options and the GLS still represents good value for a high end SUV. Gotta pay for that 3-pointed star!
Right you are, Ed. I do love a good I-6, so might be worth another test drive to see if the suspension changes are worth it. I was certainly impressed compared to previous model years of MB/AMG vehicles.
I'm comparing german luxury suvs with american pickup trucks like raptor, and seeing assembly details in mb I realize that it is better to stick with raptor or trx

@@JRB41 because that is precisely the difference, it isn’t a squared styled outdated box and is more elegant. The x7 is alright but if you look from the side, that window and roof line is like a school bus, it’s squared

The GLS63 is the best of those options. It gets around so effortlessly that you forget you're in a 6000lb, 3 row SUV.

@@Parasnake just depends, if you're in comfort mode there's a noticeable delay, but if you put it into sport or sport+ it picks up so freaking quick

For the AMG line they should have gave us some better fun colors for interior seats and exterior. Red seats would have been nice.
