I don't find Bleu de Chanel boring at all. I think those of us who are into fragrances greatly exaggerate how many people have certain fragrances. Let's get real, most people don't really wear fragrances and if they do they almost assuredly only own one or two bottles. They also likely aren't dropping 100+ bucks on them. I know one other person in my non-internet life who collects fragrance and even he doesn't have any version Bleu de Chanel. In fact, of the 24 bottles I have we have two in common. I would be shocked if I ever came across more than one person who wears any fragrance I wear, and my collection is, for the most part, mostly mainstream. We are, in reality, a rare group of collectors in the overall grand scheme of things.
A blind buy of Bleu de Chanel EDP lead me into becoming a "fraghead". La Nuit de L'Homme Bleu Électrique is one of my top 10 of all time. Always happy to go back to those two. Nice reviews btw. I discovered your channel recently and it seems like we share a similar taste for fragrances. Keep up the good work!
I bought Nior Extreme. I got to try it and it was my next purchase. Never have I. had such a balanced, finished fragrance. It smells fantastic and has upped my smells game big time.
I would agree with most of the items you've listed. I own 7 and they are pretty safe bets. I've never smell the Armaf or the Alexandria fragrance so I can't speak to those. I generally find you spot on when it comes to fragrances. Thanks for sharing, like your channel.
I agree with Jim Little's comment. We tend to exaggerate how overdone some fragrance is. Aventus clones, for example: I'm sure people around me have never smelled anything like that before, so it can be a great buy for me
@Youssef Hamade yes my dude. I have tried it! It is the most awesome gourmand summer fragrance I've ever had. It has this juicy citrus feeling with creamy coconut and a sweet rum scent that is mind-blowing. Highly recommend 👌
Dior Homme Sport 2021 is my favorite Spring/ Summer fragrance. Excellent longevity. It smells sophisticated for a Spring/ Summer fragrance. I’ve had a ton of compliments on it. The dry down is very nice. I blind bought Chopard 1000 Miglia. It ended up to be one of my most worn fragrances last year. So unique and masculine. It has this tar/asphalt accord along with lavender, leather, bergamot, violet, amber, woods, hint of coffee, and fresh cut grass. I thought it was very interesting and could easily be a signature scent. I spray the heck out of it. The best thing about it was the price: under $30.
Dior Homme Sport 2021 is really underrated. It was love at first sniff for me, I've got a free sample from Notino last fall, then grabbed a 125ml bottle 40% off at Black Friday. Dumb reach, signature scent worthy and really versatile. Sillage and longevity also great, and it changes a bit into the drydown, so it's not a linear boring fragrance.
Great list. Mancera cedrat boise isn't a super safe blind by imo. The animalic leather note is extremely prominent and dominant. You must love leather.
This was my first and limited experience as well. I recently saw it in a store and sprayed it on me. I was excited to test it cause I am looking for a fresh signature that's more unique than the designer blues. The top notes disappeared quickly and I was left with only leather.
Beautiful selection. I am strongly against blind-buying, to be very honest. However, the perfumery you have recommended, can't disappoint the consumer in my opinion. Very nice video!
Noir Extreme was my first (semi niche) fragrance. Brought it on a whim last year during Black Friday in Brixton. To this day it’s my best purchase, I think, Tom Ford is also my fav line. I would definitely recommend Noir for a date night. I also would recommend Ombré Leather and Replica Jazz Club.
I probably blind buy more than I don't, I justify it with OCD amounts of research on each fragrance lol. It's hard living out in a real rural area, getting samples of stuff works, but it's frustrating to end up paying $5-7 just to get a few ideas at how a fragrance smells.
Alexandria is pretty underrated, imo. Their clone of Gucci Envy, TF Oud Wood are spectacular, and I love their Brasilia 13zz01, which is their clone of that holy grail Aventus batch. Lastly, their hybrid of Aventus/BR540 called Game Time, is also fantastic.
Most of my fragrances are blind buys , probably 95% of them . Best move I made was buying a lot of the essential oils . You really can get a better idea about what your purchasing … not always the case but the majority of time. Quick question 🙋♂️ Is TF noir similar to Bentley infinite ? Im in love with the DNA so I’m desperate for a better performer
Was lucky enough to land a purchase of Bleu Electrique from Fragrancebuy last Thursday on one of its rare restocks. Been trying to get this thing forever I can't wait! Also, definitely have my eye on Mr. Romantic. I might just have to go for that early bird offer.
How did you like it? I went to get it with my dad when it released and I was 16, it smelled alright at the time but I still have the bottle, the scent undamaged luckily and it smells fresh but very masculine (gentleman like) and it definitely suits my personality on a date night (now 22 y/o)
Though I like Azzaro's The Most Wanted, I have to vouch for Versace Eros (EDP). It's a best-seller for a reason: because it works, especially with women. Don't be fooled into thinking that just because a lot of men wear it that it is somehow "basic" and not worth your time
@@riyad5749 Personally yes. I think it has a less obnoxious sillage, lasts a bit longer, is smoother, less synthetic, and still gets massive positive attention/compliments. Next time you get low on Eros EDT, get a ~3 mL spray decant of Eros EDP to see how it compares! I'm testing Eros EDP vs Eros Parfum vs Eros Flame atm to see what my next purchase is going to be. Currently Eros EDP is winning. My top four blind-buy recommendations are (expensive to cheap): 1. Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme 2. Cedrat Boise Intense 3. Eros EDP 4. Club de Nuit Intense Man
@@BigDawgCAM Thanks for that. I have CDNIM (only one a stranger has asked what I am wearing) and bought Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme last month, this however seems a bit weak to me? I spray it and it doesn't seem to last long, so I am letting it macerate.. I need to get my nose on Cedrat boise, hoping its a compliment beast
Every friend I have managed to peek into their cologne drawer has Eros from Versace, its a let down, every guy smelling the same ? The fragrance is good but what's the point if everyone wears it ? I bought a 50 ml in 2020 and I was done within 6 months. I still have a half full bottle. I dont hate it but just so common. Please
Can't wait for Mr Romantic, I backed Mr Fragrant and it was the best thing I did, so of course I had to Pre-Order your 2nd release. When it comes to blind buys I look into a fragrance as much as I can and so far I havent been dissapointed which I must admit is rather lucky
Guys which one should i get for the spring/summer evenings? YSL Y Le parfum, Armani Code parfum, or Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau extreme? Really curious about the opinions 😆🫣
Though I'm not as familiar with Armani's Code line, I can 100% vouch for Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme as it's my signature scent. I'm a pretty straight-laced 28 year old dude, but I'll give you a couple examples from this past year - 1. One of the younger girls in my grad school class is in a committed long-distance relationship, but after getting drunk at our Christmas party, she tried to take me home. Luckily I avoided it without drama, but one of my friends later spoke with her about the incident. As part of the story, this girl specifically mentioned what I smelled like and mentioned some apparently pretty graphic things it made her want to do that my friend wouldn't repeat. It was a bit shocking for me because before that she had never shown any signs of attraction to me and certainly had never mentioned liking the cologne I wore. 2. Another female classmate who's been around me a lot asked me out of the blue what cologne I wear the other day. She said she wanted to buy it for herself to smell whenever she wants because she said it was just that good. CAHSEE is a silent killer. I wore it for six months straight without a single compliment (I might just not be approachable), but clearly the girls in my class noticed. It won't get you flashy compliment like maybe a Versace Eros will, but it sure creates a lasting impression.
I have both Bleu de Chanel EDP (Love it!) AND Bleu Electrique. Bleu Electrique is fantastic! How much do I love it? Got a 60ml, then once I tried it, bought 100ml right away.
Le Nuit Blue Electrique is still widely available in EU. Got this and the Le Nuit Eau de Parfum. The Eau de Parfum (orange blend) is slightly more masculine and intriguing than the BE. BE is more Day/Spring fragrance where EDP more night version.
Love blind buying. Almost never let down. Do you know about Mercedes-Benz select night? Its compared to noir extreme. Also has anybody else experienced heavenly raptures from catching whiffs of prada luna rossa sport?
Imo, one of the super safe fragrance to blind buy is prada lhomme leau. Its light. A lot fresher than the og. Longevity is moderate, around 6 hours. And its project quite well.
In my humble opinion the following is not safe blind buy....(1)dior sauvage edt - to sharp..instead go for the edp (2) cedrat Boise Intense -alittle harsh in the opening. (3) club de nuit intense man is to harsh.
I recently (1month ago) got Mancera Cedrat Boise Intense after finishing my bottle of the original Cedrat which is crazy given the fact I have over 50 fragrances I finished the bottle. Anyway, after giving the Intense version some full wearings I actually believe the normal version is more intense than the new one or maybe it is my skin. The intense version basically does not project at all from my skin and after 6 hours is barely detectable as a skin scent. My brother has a bottle from the new batches of the normal Cedrat Boisse and I believe it is still a better choice. Just my opinion dont grill me.

I like the original better because it's more versatile. While I'd feel comfortable wearing Cedrat Boise in every season, I wouldn't wear the intense version in summer. It's just too much.
@@jimlittle5769 I still don’t understand how the intense cb can be cloying in the summer. Sure there’s a vanilla base, but it’s still fresh citrusy all the way through

I've been enjoying your reviews for some time now, Dr. Omar. Can't thank you enough for the Mr. Fragrant discount. Now I've secured Mr. Romantic (you just may have created an Atrium Fragrance addict 😁).
I blind bought Club de Nuit Intense Man and i don't like the fragrance. Wore it a few times and got compliments from it but i can't say it's safe to blind buy. The synthetic opening, and pine tree smell is not for me, plus the fragrance is way too strong in my opinion.
The great majority of my collection are blind buys. I do samples more now. It has kept me from buying fragrances. I did blind buy Armaf CDNI Limited Edition Parfum,Versace Eros edp and YSL Bleu Electrique. They are great.
Hi there Omar. I just got into the fragrance community last yr because of your channel and I hope you can recommend something new for my collection. Currently I have Xerjoff Naxos, Creed Aventus, PDM Layton, Tom Ford Oud Wood, TF Ombre leather, TF Tuscan Leather and the Roja Elysium. I like all these fragrances and I am looking for a niche/designer fragrance that smells different but not too "out there". Any possible recommendations ? As you can see I have a lot of fresh scents, two leather scents and a unique sweet scent with Naxos. Thank you and more power to your channel Omar.
Blind buying is a bad idea but I am still tempted to do it…But this is what I know. Everybody loves Amouage Reflection, I blind bought its clone (Alexandria’s The Runway) it burns my sinuses. I assume its because its a clone the original must be smoother, I am still tempted to blind buy Reflection, but finally decide to get a sample… thank goodness I did that, it burns in the same way. Its a shame, I really wanted to like this one, but one sniff and my sinuses are shot for a day. For my clone and sample I spent less than 50 bucks… way better than buying a full bottle of reflection. Now I am considering Vibrato… maybe I should get black panther instead?
I think instead of Aventus, would be great Aaron Terrence Hughes Neon as well, it's one of the cheapest but it's an Ambroxan bomb with nice quality and good longevity.
I'm a very freshies guy I rock BDC edp DH sport ADG Profumo TF Néroli Portofino (FW clone) Roja Elisium (FW FA Paris divin asylum) But Dolce Gabbana The One edp is amazing no 🧢. My Go to Winter Even my Oud wood is not to this level. Le Male Le Parfum Armani code absolu YSL Tuxedo TF ombre leather all of them I have, they don't come close to DG the one imo.
I blind bought Sauvage Parfum...and because that mistake wasn't enough, I bought the EDP. Gave both away. Sauvage ELIXIR though, that's a homerun. I overwhelmingly prefer Cedrat Boise to Sauvage EDT, EDP and Parfum.
Bought a bottle of bleu electrique and got a decant. They smell different. One smells like the original LNDL but a bit darker and the other smells like blue raspberry and woods. Has this happened to anyone else or know what the blue raspberry woods fragrance is?!?
Instead of the most wanted should i get the most wanted by night because the most wanted arent in stock in all my stores but the by night is. Also which is better in general Versace eros or the most wanted by night i cant decide which one i should get.
I'm not sure I would recommend cedrat boise intense as a blind buy over the original. The intense has quite a bit of oud in there which isn't to everyones taste. The original CB would definitely be a safer blind buy imo.
Edition Blanche is a beautiful scent no doubt, but it's longevity is rather short lived. I would highly recommend Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme which works year-round, lasts longer, and ladies seem to love it.
Hello Omar I've been trying to get a free sample of Mr.Fragrant but It says Shipping not available for selected address, Is this a glitch or is my address truly available for shipping? (Located in USA) BTW nice vid!!
Yes (and get the EDP) and generally Eros is better in cooler weather but you can get away with it in warmer weather as long as you go less on the sprays
@@laurencefelizardo6945 I use 4 sprays of Eros EDP (or Eros Flame). I believe it's a perfect number for these fragrances. Maybe 2-3 in a very high heat.
I really dont get all the content creator saying Mancera CB Intense is good. Mancera CB Intense is not a safe blind buy at all. This fragrance has leather notes to it, and its really hard to pull of. The more dry it becomes, the freshness gone and it just left you with the leather notes.
I sort of blind bought Dolce & Gabanna The One. I'm not crazy about it. I live in New York City. The leather and tobacco just isn't for my taste. I blind-bought The One Mysterious Night, which I'm also not crazy about.
Blind brought mancera cedrat boise last week from jomashop, and for some reason it's weak, does not last more than 2 hours. Nothing like what everyone describes. Don't know why, even when I over spray still weak.
no hate at all I just find it funny that the thumbnail includes all 3 of the fragrances ive ever blind bought being eros, cedrat boise and the one. cedrat boise eventually grew on me after months but the other two were either boring (the one) or extremely annoying after a while (eros). Just dont blind buy, unless fragrance is cheaper than it is to sample or you have loads of money and have 0 expectations in terms of liking the scent.
You recommend staying away from Aventus dna but you recommend Intense CB? Don't get me wrong I love intense CB eventhough I'm sick of Aventus smelling frags. What blind buys do you recommend for non-beginners? Looking for something different now and I'm out of ideas
When I blind bought it I really didnt like it at all thought it smelled like a lemon cleaner/bug spray but after wearing it a couple of times and smelling the dry down it really grew on me
I love cedrat boise but it’s def not a safe blind buy. The scent is very distinct, and I can see why people wouldn’t like it. It’s a love or hate it no in between
@@kinghenny312 That's an odd reason. So you watch a bunch of fragrance youtubers, seemingly to at least get some ideas for fragrances to buy, and because a particular one is loved by them all, that automatically makes you dislike the scent itself? It's a good way to miss out on some great fragrances. Do you go after the ones universally panned?
@@jimlittle5769 no. i said “only got it cuz…”. i ordered a sample because they all hyped it up. wore it and hated it. thats why i said “i hated it”. because i tried it..then hated it.

Mancera Intense or Dolce Gabanna the one which one is the best?❓?
Very good scent 👌
I'm a very freshies guy
I rock
BDC edp
DH sport
ADG Profumo
TF Néroli Portofino (FW clone)
Roja Elisium (FW FA Paris divin asylum)
But Dolce Gabbana The One edp is amazing no 🧢. My Go to Winter
Even my Oud wood is not to this level.
Le Male Le Parfum
Armani code absolu
YSL Tuxedo
TF ombre leather
all of them I have, they don't come close to DG the one imo.
Nice list but D&G The One Edt is way more versatile and not that weak performer.
Cdnim limited edition or cedrat boise for everyday spring / summer scent?
Got it as soon as I got the email!!
I really like Boise Cedrat as a general and professional daytime scent. Is the intense version worth it if I already enjoy the standard version?
dylan blue?
I blindbought almost every single one of my fragrances
Dior homme eau de toilette 2020 It s good?
Bought a bottle of bleu electrique and got a decant. They smell different. One smells like the original LNDL but a bit darker and the other smells like blue raspberry and woods. Has this happened to anyone else or know what the blue raspberry woods fragrance is?!?
currently getting some samples of these !
I feel the Intense is the safer choice between the two, of course no blind buy is 100% safe
Thank you for the list! Would you recommend allure Homme edition blanche as a safe choice in cloudy spring day?
Thanks and yes 😁
Edition Blanche is a beautiful scent no doubt, but it's longevity is rather short lived. I would highly recommend Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme which works year-round, lasts longer, and ladies seem to love it.
Alexandria Fragrances l'immensity is absolutely fire 🔥 try that one out
Most people I know don’t even know don’t even think about their fragrances let alone know what Savage is
Just pre-ordered Mr. Romantic 👍🏽
👌
I love to blind buy. It's an adventure and a treasure hunt. With many fragrances at reasonable prices from discounters, why not take a chance?
Hello Omar I've been trying to get a free sample of Mr.Fragrant but It says Shipping not available for selected address, Is this a glitch or is my address truly available for shipping? (Located in USA) BTW nice vid!!
Thank you! And it depends where you’re based, US has permanently sold out of Mr Fragrant
@@SchoolOfScent Oh Ok Thanks for responding
I just get 1-2 ml samples. That’s good for at least 10 sprays. I don’t get why people buy entire bottles without smelling it.
I see people on fragrantica comparing most wanted to stronger with you line is it redundant to own both?
I would say no but there are definitely similarities, I’d definitely try it first to make your own judgment in this case
can cdnim be worn for school in the high heat? and also would you recommend versace eros in the warmer weather?
Yes (and get the EDP) and generally Eros is better in cooler weather but you can get away with it in warmer weather as long as you go less on the sprays
@@SchoolOfScent how many sprays specifically?
@@laurencefelizardo6945 I use 4 sprays of Eros EDP (or Eros Flame). I believe it's a perfect number for these fragrances. Maybe 2-3 in a very high heat.
@@SirRivelion which smells fresher? edt or edp?
I hate that I bought Cedrat Boise and then the intense came out a few weeks later
I really dont get all the content creator saying Mancera CB Intense is good. Mancera CB Intense is not a safe blind buy at all. This fragrance has leather notes to it, and its really hard to pull of. The more dry it becomes, the freshness gone and it just left you with the leather notes.
Please suggest a perfume very much similar to the Creed's Original Vetiver or a clone of it
I sort of blind bought Dolce & Gabanna The One. I'm not crazy about it. I live in New York City. The leather and tobacco just isn't for my taste. I blind-bought The One Mysterious Night, which I'm also not crazy about.
There is no leather in The One, is it?
Stronger with you should be on this list
Should i get mancera if im 18
Blind brought mancera cedrat boise last week from jomashop, and for some reason it's weak, does not last more than 2 hours. Nothing like what everyone describes. Don't know why, even when I over spray still weak.
Have you tried primera perfumes pirates? really interesting in my opinion.
Is it true dolce and gabana the one has garbage performance?
no hate at all I just find it funny that the thumbnail includes all 3 of the fragrances ive ever blind bought being eros, cedrat boise and the one. cedrat boise eventually grew on me after months but the other two were either boring (the one) or extremely annoying after a while (eros).
I would say Intense CB is significantly different to Aventus, more so than the original CB
any hedione, ambroxan or Iso E super?
D&g the one edp is a masterpiece
blind bought noir extreme and can confirm it's straight gas
Blue de channel is fantastic but the performance isn't for everyone. ( not a projector at all )
I find the scent to be kinda "dark" as well
Is your fragrance not available for shipping to Sweden? :(
Please click world shipping on our website menu
I’ve only ever recognized a scent once and it was Dior savauge lol
club de nuit is probebly the worst fragrance to blind buy ever
Why
When I blind bought it I really didnt like it at all thought it smelled like a lemon cleaner/bug spray but after wearing it a couple of times and smelling the dry down it really grew on me
In case you are unaware! Eros also comes in an EDP concentration and also a Parfum concentration. More mature for you older gentleman.
Is versage eros good for school
I prefer Versace Eros Flame. The citrus mandarin is the best. Eros Flame is better choice than Eros
@@seihanarizouki456 ty i got le male le parfum by jpg for the school btw and im loving it so good
I would really love to try out your fragrances but unfortunately it doesn't ship to Italy...😭
I love cedrat boise but it’s def not a safe blind buy. The scent is very distinct, and I can see why people wouldn’t like it. It’s a love or hate it no in between
i hated it. only got it cuz its so hyped by the reviewers i subscribe to
Well said, Kc.
Facts, its not that great for beginners which is not great.
Cdim is a compliment getter a girl in my class complimented me in lesson and i have not really ever spoke to her before she asked if it was dior sauvage lmao
I bought the azzaro the most wanted but I don’t know man doesn’t really last that long I get 2-4 hours
Lol just ordered Versace pour homme, should be arriving today. Smelt eros EDT for first time other day, really didn't like it.
Same here, Eros smells just weird. Versace PH is pretty safe tho, especially on really warm days it's very clean and refreshing.
i’m not a fan of the eros either it smells like a women’s perfume to me, kinda loud
i dont know if its about my skin chemistry, but verscae pour homme base notes stays on my skin for 5 days
Bro you work with alexandria?
Nope, I would say if the video was sponsored
Subjectively, I strongly disagree with Eros (the entire line). It reeks awefully. My biggest desire while test-wearing it was to shower and scrub that unholy stuff off my body.
I blind bought CDNIM and it smelled like straight cleaning products even after the dry down idk if i got a bad batch or what but it was horrible!!!!!
Which one did you buy
can teens wear cedrat boise
Older teens sure
Totally agree!
Black Panther is fantastic juice.
I blind bought CDNIM and I did not like it. I have read so many rave reviews of it, everyone recommends it and yet I found it not to be my liking.
Omar between Dior homme parfum and Prada l’homme intense, which one would you pick?
I have blind bought 40+ niche perfumes in 2023 with a 90% success rate!!! Either I’m just lucky, or I’m plain obsessed with (almost) all perfumes 😅
sounds like overconsumption
Sheesh 😬
I thought in your previous video you said never blind buy 😂 must get a sample
