Thank you very much from Italy, you were among the very few (maybe the only one, I don't know) who explained this function well. 99% of reviewers of this device take it for granted that everyone wants to use the integrated App, forgetting that there are users who need to know for sure whether there could be limitations in transferring Insta360 files directly to their computer. and only on the computer do they want to work with their files. There are too many reviewers who snub the more traditional factors of editing, in the name of so-called "ease of use", when in reality they demonstrate incompetence and a lack of a real overall vision for the technology. Excuse my English, I use an automatic translator.
Usually means not enough power via the cable (I'm guessing from how my GoPro reacted by sometimes only charging not wanting to transfer files - better power cable = transfer mode)
This comment is not aimed at Action Cam Guy. Why did Insta360 give me a USB-A to USB-C to charge my Go 3? A USB-C to USB-C means I can use my USB-C chargers (it is 2024 not 2004) and I could use the cable to copy from Go 3 to Mac/PC. Sorry for hijacking ACG's great tutorial.
The assumption is probably you need someone to give you a cable to operate the thing you likely don’t have a usb-c charger….but if you have a MacBook Pro you already have c-to-c cables
Just to confirm. Doing the same direct file transfer via usb using Go3 requires it to be reframed on the Insta360 app on the desktop - only then it can be edited with 3rd party video editing software. For the Go3, you are saying that step can be skipped and the raw mp4 file can be edited?
are you able to transfer photos and videos to your phone with a cord? So if you dont have a wifi connection? Or do you just need a bluetooth connection?
Thanks for the video! Mine doesn't go into "U disk mode" as mentioned at 1:15. The red light comes on as you mentioned, but it won't go into "U Disk mode". Any suggestions as to how to get "U disk mode" to show up?
I assume you've worked this out by now, but... 1. Turn on the Go 3 2. Plug in the USB cable to the Go 3, and the other end to the computer/laptop/tablet/phone I found I needed to have the Go 3 turned on already before plugging it into my tablet, but with my laptop it didn't matter
With the limited, non-expandable storage on the GO3, is it possible to connect a USB-C thumb drive directly into the camera and transfer everything over?
can you make a video how to use footage from go 3 to edit on a iphone and then upload to youtube tik tok instagram in teh best quality available thanks!
I asked the same question and by the looks of it I ain’t gonna get an answer.. he mentions it works on windows… but not a word about an iPad… not a word! I don’t get that!
Any thoughts on why I may be getting an intermittent connection? Connection worked for a while, not now the Go runs in circles saying the camera is not connected.

Thank you for making a quick straight forward video for this. I wasn't sure on how to do it or why there are so many files! Thank you!
Thanks, buddy. There's nothing in the instructions about this. Subbed.
Thank you for this straight to the point video!
Glad it helped 🙏
When I plug it in it charges but nothing else.
only some USB-C cables will work, contrary to what stated in the video
How do you enter U disk mode if this dialog box doesn't appear?

Very well done and concise.

Thank you, this video is straight to the point

The files i downloaded are all fisheye mode. Help! Are they this format because I used free frame mode to shoot?
Did you find an answer for this?
my camera doesn't get the pop up for udisk mode. do I need to do something on my pc to get it?
did u fiind something on that?
@@PaulaMilanez I had to use the authentic intsa 360 cable that it came with to make it work. All my other cables wouldn’t trigger the pop up
This because the wifi transfer speed is waayyy worse compared to gopro😂😂
