My sister converted to Islam some years ago. Last year, my aunt was in the hospital after a brain aneurism. One day, two ladies came into the waiting room and asked if they could pray for her. My wife and I welcomed the offer and joined them in the prayer, but my sister was incredibly rude to them. The level of vehemence she leveled at these kind strangers was disgraceful. The business is an ‘all-consuming’ type business in the .’food manufacturing’ sector. I have had to ‘honor’ my Father and Mother as stated in Scripture… i did this not at their request or expectation but out of my Love for God. It has cost me very much, most would say rightly, it cost me my whole life, as i was never able to pursue my own talents and desires. This meant no wife or family of my own as there was no time that a wife and children would require of me if i was to be a good husband and father… the business got almost all of it. Though in my younger years i tried numerous times it turned out to be unfair to the young lady. In this type business the day starts at 3:30-4:00am each day, and for many years lasted into the early evening hours. I injured myself my (back) severely over the years and have endured ( 5 ) surgeries thus far. Now my ‘life’ has more or less past me by as i am now into the Social Security age bracket. Though i cannot stay ‘active’ physically more than around 5-6 hours a day i do still have to go in ( 7 ) days a week 365 days a year, yes even holidays. The point I’m trying to make is this… being that it is a ‘family’ business my Pop still comes in EVERYDAY between 5:00-600am and stays until 3:00-400 pm. My Pop asked my ‘permission’ to bring my brother on board in 2011, of course i agreed on (1) condition- that is that Pop would NOT treat my brother as he had treated me. He was very rigid , tough, suffered from ‘OCD’ and was unable to feel empathy for others. He has had (1) stroke and (3 ) heart attacks. He has always outworked me. Up until his last heart attack he was a ‘TRI-Athlete’ - Swim-Bike-Run. He would work 14 hours then go run 10 miles, in his age class he was ranked 2nd in the United States, his second to last heart attack happened on the podium at the seniorOlympics years ago waiting to receive his medal for third place, to me that’s insanity !!! This business deals with food, the public, and government contract feeding programs. This means it is an unbelievably complex, exacting, and highly stressful, highly government regulated business, dealing with ‘perishable foods, which means i have to deal with on a daily basis, - employees- over 50 of them and their problems and personalities, also the customers demands, the contractual demands and specifications, along with the Local, State, and Federal Inspection Agencies… the Federal Inspectors on a daily basis if we are running any production lines. I have the City requirements, the State licenses and fees and multiple Federal Agencies and their ridiculous demands , statutes, and regulations… the USDA- Department of Agriculture, the FSIS- the Food Safety Inspection Service, the FDA- the Food and Drug Administration, The Health and Hospital Service, The Louisiana Department of Agriculture, The Weights Standards and Measurements Agency, The tax agencies State & Federal, The Workers Compensation Agency, The OSHA- Occupational Safety and Hazard Agency, and the Federal Analysis Laboratories that i have to send regular samples to be analyzed for any bacteria or adulterations in any products we make or use , then there’s all the local agencies- fire Marshall, Grease and Trash Removing Agency, Water Potability Agency,And my own in-house programs in required to be addressed and documented everyday called my SSOP-Standard Sanitation and Operating Procedures - which i have to have an approved professional contract cleaning service(which costs the company $12,000 per week) to clean and sanitize the food production areas. Most religions will have some parts that were influenced by previous religions of that area. Synchronization will occur. Example: How we are taught that jesus's birthday is dec. 25th with no references to the bible, or that his resurrection has anything to do with rabbits and painted eggs. So this has been an ongoing story since before the Hebrews till ,potentially, the end of time.. To start, Moses upheld the law that God gave him in that animal sacrifices were necessary for the atonement of sins. Muslims don’t believe that God requires atonement for our sins. They say God just forgives sins because He’s so merciful… yet they forget that God told Moses that He is forgiving however, He does not let the guilty go unpunished (Exodus 34:7). Us Christian’s don’t do animal sacrifices today because Jesus fulfilled the prophecy that God gave Daniel in that Jesus put an end to all sacrifices in that He was the final sacrifice- He atoned for our sins. Muslims don’t even believe Jesus was crucified on the cross for our sins- hence they call God a liar because God told the prophets that the Messiah would be pierced for our sins. That He would be cut off from the land of the living. A big one is Isaiah 53 written 700+ years before Christ walked on earth. If Jesus was never crucified, then God would have lied… and God is not man that He should lie.

My sister converted to Islam some years ago. Last year, my aunt was in the hospital after a brain aneurism. One day, two ladies came into the waiting room and asked if they could pray for her. My wife and I welcomed the offer and joined them in the prayer, but my sister was incredibly rude to them. The level of vehemence she leveled at these kind strangers was disgraceful. I wish good things for my sister, and that she may at some point realize her mistake, but I fear her mental health issues may be too great for her to correct the path she has chosen.

Sadly my brother lost his way and turned from Christianity to Islam through the influence of his Islamic friend. I've tried all my life to help him be stronger person and to stop his insanity. I am considered and looked at ‘quietly’ as an ‘oddball’ and a mysterious ‘outcast’, a ‘hermit’ of sorts. I say quietly because i am a ‘Boss’ of many people in (a not so small) business. ‘Respect’ comes with the position… i dislike it very much and am secretly very uncomfortable with that fact of my ‘position’. I try and stay in the background as much as possible. My brother owns the other 50% of the business. It is a very old ‘family business’ i am the 3rd generation of it. It began in 1946 almost 80 years ago. I come from a ‘strict’ and hardened family. The business was NOT ever ‘handed down’, I was made, at an early age to begin work and have held every position in the business long enough to learn all of them proficiently. Every generation had to ‘purchase’ the business from the former generation, which i did. I was the eldest male and thereby expected to stay at the business… which i did. My brother, although my ‘partner’ went his own way after school until 2012. I also have two sisters which went away as well and lived their own lives. The business is an ‘all-consuming’ type business in the .’food manufacturing’ sector. I have had to ‘honor’ my Father and Mother as stated in Scripture… i did this not at their request or expectation but out of my Love for God. It has cost me very much, most would say rightly, it cost me my whole life, as i was never able to pursue my own talents and desires. This meant no wife or family of my own as there was no time that a wife and children would require of me if i was to be a good husband and father… the business got almost all of it. Though in my younger years i tried numerous times it turned out to be unfair to the young lady. In this type business the day starts at 3:30-4:00am each day, and for many years lasted into the early evening hours. I injured myself my (back) severely over the years and have endured ( 5 ) surgeries thus far. Now my ‘life’ has more or less past me by as i am now into the Social Security age bracket. Though i cannot stay ‘active’ physically more than around 5-6 hours a day i do still have to go in ( 7 ) days a week 365 days a year, yes even holidays. The point I’m trying to make is this… being that it is a ‘family’ business my Pop still comes in EVERYDAY between 5:00-600am and stays until 3:00-400 pm. He is ( 86 ) years old now as is my Mother who comes to drink coffee each day at 9:00-11:00 daily and ‘visit’ with Pop, & makes her rounds to all the office personnel.
My Pop asked my ‘permission’ to bring my brother on board in 2011,
of course i agreed on (1) condition- that is that Pop would NOT treat my brother as he had treated me. He was very rigid , tough, suffered from ‘OCD’ and was unable to feel empathy for others. He has had (1) stroke and (3 ) heart attacks. He has always outworked me. Up until his last heart attack he was a ‘TRI-Athlete’ - Swim-Bike-Run. He would work 14 hours then go run 10 miles, in his age class he was ranked 2nd in the United States, his second to last heart attack happened on the podium at the seniorOlympics years ago waiting to receive his medal for third place, to me that’s insanity !!! This business deals with food, the public, and government contract feeding programs. This means it is an unbelievably complex, exacting, and highly stressful, highly government regulated business, dealing with ‘perishable foods, which means i have to deal with on a daily basis, - employees- over 50 of them and their problems and personalities, also the customers demands, the contractual demands and specifications, along with the Local, State, and Federal Inspection Agencies… the Federal Inspectors on a daily basis if we are running any production lines. I have the City requirements, the State licenses and fees and multiple Federal Agencies and their ridiculous demands , statutes, and regulations… the USDA- Department of Agriculture, the FSIS- the Food Safety Inspection Service, the FDA- the Food and Drug Administration, The Health and Hospital Service, The Louisiana Department of Agriculture, The Weights Standards and Measurements Agency, The tax agencies State & Federal, The Workers Compensation Agency, The OSHA- Occupational Safety and Hazard Agency, and the Federal Analysis Laboratories that i have to send regular samples to be analyzed for any bacteria or adulterations in any products we make or use , then there’s all the local agencies- fire Marshall, Grease and Trash Removing Agency, Water Potability Agency,And my own in-house programs in required to be addressed and documented everyday called my SSOP-Standard Sanitation and Operating Procedures - which i have to have an approved professional contract cleaning service(which costs the company $12,000 per week) to clean and sanitize the food production areas. Imagine keeping all those Daily records of all activities, machinery , packaging and raw materials used and all varieties of all produced products and have separate ‘lot numbers’ and various identification logos and alphanumeric codes on all packaging. Then there are the security codes and cameras and devices capturing every inch of the property for FEMA and Homeland Security purposes, etc.,etc,etc,. Now if that doesn’t blow your mind you are a Superman. I tell you I have to keep records of the records for all the overlapping State and Federal Agencies that absolutely senselessly, exasperate me daily… And the worst of it all is that the public does not know that the inspectors inspecting the American Food Supply doesn’t have to have ANY formal education!!! They are mostly “D” average high school education ONLY!!! They are egregiously INCOMPETENT !!! I keep our place and products clean and healthy for our customers!!! NOT for incompetent inspectors or the government. If i sell bad food i would lose all my customers… that’s motivation enough to do things properly !!! Even the individual State Inspectors have to go to college and receive a (4) year degree in animal sciences !!!Since all products I use to make my products come from facilities that have to do the same tests and sanitation and records as i do that should prove I’m using approved supplies but for them it doesn’t !!! Most religions will have some parts that were influenced by previous religions of that area. Synchronization will occur. Example: How we are taught that jesus's birthday is dec. 25th with no references to the bible, or that his resurrection has anything to do with rabbits and painted eggs. Muslims don’t even believe Jesus was crucified on the cross for our sins- hence they call God a liar because God told the prophets that the Messiah would be pierced for our sins. That He would be cut off from the land of the living. A big one is Isaiah 53 written 700+ years before Christ walked on earth. If Jesus was never crucified, then God would have lied… and God is not man that He should lie.
