Nice mill you have and I can understand why it would make your work a little easier. The log you milled had some very interesting grain. I'm in California and we don't have a lot of wood varieties and being a wood turner, I'm always looking for wood that fast grain patterns and know they are in demand throughout the wood turning groups.you might want to consider the idea of cutting those 3-4" slabs into bowl banks and starts Ellington them that way.

I love your videos and Brittany is great cutting logs by herself, both of you nake a great team. My only comment would be, I'd like you both to wear st least safety glasses. I used to do home repairs and I forgot my safety glasses and got a piece chipped wood splinter in one if my eyes. Brittany has pretty eyes and i wouldn't want to see either of you get an injury even though i know y'all know what you're doing all the time.

I only see one thing wrong with this video, so I am going to give some advice. Neither of you are wearing hearing or eye protection. As someone who suffers from partial hearing loss from running loud machinery too long without hearing protection, I highly advise you to start wearing hearing protection. Also, even a cheap pair of safety glasses is better than nothing. I can't count the number of times safety glasses have saved me from an injury. Please Please Please use hearing and eye protection. Otherwise, great video. I really enjoyed it.

Hi, nice, well thought and speedy gear, although there's a small conception flaw : the manometer on the right part should have use a bent connector, in order to have its rated pressure settled at 12 o'clock, so just a look at the needle would show if there is a pressure problem (old marine steaming engines trick).
