I really don't know why I like watching videos with people cutting slabs but I do. I wish I would have been able to do the same thing. What a good life.
When I saw the thumbnail I didn't think it was about sawing^^
I’m sure it had nothing to do with leggings.
Thats why Im watching!
So glad you addressed the peeling of logs question. Great channel!
That's probably the gnarliest log I've seen on youtube.
So glad you have that mill. When you age into your Seventies your bodies Will still be thanking you for buying i.
I have been watching you since you got the Woodland mill and the difference between now and then is like day and night. Great job.👍
Lucky to have a partner helping you, real family business.
Never did I think I would ever spend 15 minutes of my life watching a video of people cut wood with a mill. I have probably watched 5 or 6 or 7 of your videos. They are interesting and entertaining. Thank you. You guys work hard. I hope y'all do well with the business.
Thanks so much for watching along!!!
Another awesome video. Great job Britney running the saw. Glad ur guys jobs are so much easier. 🤜🤛
THANKS!
You guys are both great workers and sawyers, congratulations on the new mill be safe
Thanks so much!
It always appreciated to have a good looking woman on your side and Brittany knows her way the lumber machinery which is paramount 👍🏻
Just found you two and it's fun watching how well you work together!
Man that's one nice looking machine... she's built great... looks like she'll last a long time.. congrats 🎉
WoW thank you sumach 😊
you two are a great team! love the southern accent.
Brit,I like the new mill it gives Tyler something to do,he should make some base fiddles out of this particular log it already has the shape for the bodies.
What a team! Good content and good presentation. Take care...
Britney is a Godess - even walking backwards and standing still AND cutting great chunks of wood . Too good.!
Like the cowboy said in Yellowstone-- I hate to see you leave but I love to watch you go!
Just wondered why you didn't get a debarker
You make my Day better . Thanks
Very interesting! I just watched one of your previous videos with the older mill. This new one IS a gamechanger!
Agreed!
I dunno if it's just me, but I think the combination of fog, camera lens/framing, terrain, etc.., tricks my brain into the overall feeling that this shot on a sound stage. The effect hit me the strongest starting around 2:50. I dunno. but I just thought that was neat. And to all my fellow viewers: don't forget your PPE, ya silly billies! ♥
I've been watching your RUclips video for a short while and I've seen a lot of them and I think they are brilliant
Good job yall. Thats actual wealth. Wood is always about as valuable as it is. The 70 has four computers that have to communicate with each other and I have heard lots of downtime horror stories.
You guys are great!!
When turning a large log or cant, use the log clamp under it to let it down easy. You can learn to use the log clamp with out the log turner. Keep it fun.
Great video and good job. Use every advantage you can to make life easier. Take care and have a blessed weekend
You got that right! Thanks for watching!
Great video. Thank y’all!
Awesome job thanks for sharing 👍
Nice mill you have and I can understand why it would make your work a little easier. The log you milled had some very interesting grain. I'm in California and we don't have a lot of wood varieties and being a wood turner, I'm always looking for wood that fast grain patterns and know they are in demand throughout the wood turning groups.you might want to consider the idea of cutting those 3-4" slabs into bowl banks and starts Ellington them that way.
Great video. Fresh cut lumber has a great smell to it
Excellent
Good job my man. good job. what a gem of a wome uggh machine
Awesome, thank You
I don't really have any questions, just a comment I love to watch y'all's videos , and I love the music you are editing in , I was singing along I love the old hymns. Great Job to you both.God Bless you.
Thank you so much!!
happy weekend guys
Great videos keep up the great work
You sir are so blessed to have such a beautiful and cool lady by your side
Awesome guys
I have the lt70 super and it's an amazing machine to have. I have owned it for 2 years and very soon I am moving it to my Alaska property. I am planning to use it as a side business in Alaska milling wood for people because everyone has plenty of trees and logs on their property and with all the driftwood after the ice melts.
That’s awesome!
I never liked WM mills, but i am starting to like them, thanks Bert.
It funny I like your video alway sawmill circle saw video alway thought was cool now you got new band mill I hook more and see what you business is all about. Thank you for sharing.
Good team ,get ur done$
That is one gnarly hunk of timber. This is what Lumber Capital Log Yard uses and it lets them crank through the logs. Emerald and Jade can give you some good tips..
That is one GNARLY chunk of wood!
What a very likeable duo.
Thumbs up and subbed no hesitation and going to look at your other videos.
May God bless you both.
Thanks so much for joining along!
Great stuff !!!
Good looking mill. See where it saves you time and sweat.
I love your videos and Brittany is great cutting logs by herself, both of you nake a great team. My only comment would be, I'd like you both to wear st least safety glasses. I used to do home repairs and I forgot my safety glasses and got a piece chipped wood splinter in one if my eyes. Brittany has pretty eyes and i wouldn't want to see either of you get an injury even though i know y'all know what you're doing all the time.
Great machine for you business. Increased productivity with less effort. Win/win for a larger operation like yours.
I only see one thing wrong with this video, so I am going to give some advice. Neither of you are wearing hearing or eye protection. As someone who suffers from partial hearing loss from running loud machinery too long without hearing protection, I highly advise you to start wearing hearing protection. Also, even a cheap pair of safety glasses is better than nothing. I can't count the number of times safety glasses have saved me from an injury. Please Please Please use hearing and eye protection. Otherwise, great video. I really enjoyed it.
Everyone, please stop with the safety bullshit. We get it
If you get it start wearing it! And NO I will not stop with the safety ADVICE!
If you don't like the way they work, quit watching...simple.
@@hildacorea I didn't say I didn't like the way they work. I just know from first hand experience what happens when you don't wear protective equipment, and I don't want anyone else to go through it too
Eyes and hearing won't come back
Love the Music
Awesome Video my Brother!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Use hearing protection. Unless you wanna wreck your hearing and get tinnitus (constant ringing in your ears) other than that, good content.
I love to see how you turn trees into useable lumber !
Thanks for watching!
Just a shout out from northern New York, up near the Adirondack mountains. Just off the eastern most point of lake Ontario.
No questions to think of, but by watching the videos, I certainly can see how the LT 40 is a win all around, for you guys and your customers. God bless, I do look forward to the content yous post. ☺️👍
Thanks so much for watching!
You my friend are living the dream! You have one hell of a mill and are working with one lovely partner! Yup, living the dream!
First time viewer, but I found it interesting. Thanks for sharing.....
Don't get fat and Lazy like me. LOL Good to know it has made your life easier. 20 years ago, I prepared for my old age and installed overhead hoist in my shop and now I drive out to my shop in my golf cart. But I am now 72 and crippled. Without the golf cart my life would be pretty miserable because my love of the outdoors and my shop is what keeps me going in my retirement years. Great video. Yall keep makin them and I will keep watchin them.
WOW.. this is the FIRST TIME I've seen any of your Videos!! I'm Impressed!! your Camera work is Excellent!! I love the Closeups you got was the wood was being cut !! Nicely Done!! Thank you. I'll be Liking and Subscrbing!! Keep up the great work...:)
Thanks for joining along!
I am a new subscriber and Really appreciate the videos and hard work you and Brittany are doing at the saw mill the whole set up you 2 got going on there is awesome, but I to want to touch on safety equipment for your eye's and hearing go to your local harbor freight and pick up some safety equipment. Keep up the good work
Nice video 📹 👍🏻
Showing the results of hard work, smart investments and clean living.
Thanks so much!
Great Job
Thanks!
Anything that saves you time and your body is amazing. Over here in England I’ve had to medically retire at 46 because I’ve got osteoarthritis due to manual work..
Hello from Joe The Grower in NY
I love your videos and edit still guys. Here's a question for next week that I've always wondered about. Why do you use a sticker and have all the planks going in the same direction instead of switching the direction every couple levels when you stack your wood?
Brittany is looking good as always.
I'm headed to Harbor Freight to buy one of these.
I really apricate seeing old railroad rail put to good use. I was in track maintenance for 11 years. 👍 Looks to be about 110/yd rail. So, 110 pounds per 3 feet of rail. Approximately. Hard to tell the difference between 110 and 115 at a glance.
Another great video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
the knots brought back memories of the nut bowl my step-parents had passed down from generation lost it in a housefire and a knot from a tree craved out to make the bowl my stepparents did always have peanuts and nuts in that bowl in December i blew up like a balloon if i eat a nut or a peanut my little fingers did not touch them at all some boy in school found out the hard way don't push the nut to me he had 2 black eyes with trying to
i have 25 wooden coffee cups i have made from knots from trees nothing huge to make a bowl like that from
Great video as usual. Really like the new LT40. My question is how did you get the pallet wood gig? Does it pay the bills or do you have to cut custom orders also. Thanks for sharing, looking forward to the next video.
Have you guys considered doing a live video with Q&A? It would nice to be able to interact with you!
Good idea!
You guys are great, love the videos. If I have the option to purchase a circular sawmill fairly cheap or save for a more expensive band mill, what would y’all recommend? For custom cuts and other small custom jobs
Do you watch other sawmill videos online to see what kind of improvements they made to their equipment for easier operations?
Hi, nice, well thought and speedy gear, although there's a small conception flaw : the manometer on the right part should have use a bent connector, in order to have its rated pressure settled at 12 o'clock, so just a look at the needle would show if there is a pressure problem (old marine steaming engines trick).
I believe it would be a good idea to wear safety glasses when you are operating your saws and edger.
Great video guys i also watch Triple L Rustic Design on RUclips too its amazing how them saw mills work having a great relationship with each other a bonus too❤
John Clark would be calling that'n an angry log.
Awesome video y'all. I knew that the LT40 Hydraulic sawmill was the way to go a long time ago when my dad had one. The weather here in Northeast Alabama is about the same way as there. Ya never know whatcha gonna get! 😂
You got that right!
BRITNEYworkng hard and looking good doing it!
Brittany has a keen eye on sawng.
Not going to be bossy but, this should have been made into an advertisement for the Wood-Mizer LT40. Excellent Brittney. Cold and rainy up north in the Foothills of the Smokies. Take care.
Great video guys . Ok how did you get started in the sawmill industry do you have plans to maybe kiln dry some of your custom orders ?
nice sawmill, and a great saw setup. I like your work.
But you should realy wear some good hearing protection!
The future you will thank you.
Always enjoy your videos 👍😎 know there are a lot of variables, but on average, how many logs to make a pallet of pallet wood 😎
Is cutting pallet wood your main 'bread and butter' job? The hydraulics certainly make loading and turning logs a lot easier- especially when they are as knotty as this one was.
Great video guys! Keep up the great work!
Thanks so much for watching! We love your channel!
I’m jealous! Saving my money to upgrade my LT15 wide to a hydraulic mill. My market here lately has been 16’ white oak fence boards. Turning those logs manually…ugh…😂
I feel that! Lol
A very interesting and very good video, the wood sawing machine it works very well, how much will it cost I want to buy one
Greetings from Poland. I've been following you for a long time. You are very hardworking❤
Hello. I live in Costa Rica. I don't know that tree. Maybe with the scientific name you can recognize it; I don't know if it is available in my country. Best wishes to everyone.
Hello 🙋Dong, good morning, it's a pleasure to watch your video. Looks like it hasn't been processed or cleaned for a long time. The grass and trees have grown taller. A new day has come again. I have to go. Clean up the weeds and trash next to the fish pond. Unexpectedly, even the grass and trees grow taller, and the leaves 🍃 also have medicinal properties 💙💜.
Hello Duong, may God protect your heart with lots of love!'
My friend, your videos are very good, bring peace to the soul and relax the nerves. It's good that pigs don't appear because we Muslims don't like them because they are forbidden to us.
check Old Bluff Sawmill he has made some up grades so he can run the mill single handed . With the axles removed like your mill one of his upgrades would perfect . Jason you are a fortunate man to have a partner like Brittney. His mill is an LT50
Them big pine that your sawing are they the ones that cotton top brought in??
You have upgraded to a different sawmill. Is the motor a gasoline or diesel? I have saw both models advertised from the sales manufacturer. This model does take a lot of the hard work out of the sawmill operation. Especially turning the logs
what is the next upgrade one of the mills ya dont have to walk with all controls in one place then work on the chop system?
Save your back if you use the tractor forks to off load the slabs.
When cutting palletwood, do you cut your dimensions actual or nominal?
Very cool technology, I have to ask, do you wear any hearing protection? I don't see any in the video and over the years that equipment will probably do some damage.
what type of forest trees make fort a good sawmill business? I have mostly hardwoods (oaks hard and soft maple and beech)and some ash/poplar
All your sawdust, do yo sell it as is or burn it to make wood ash to increase garden fertilizer and raise soil PH.
