The audiobooks for Belladonna and Foxglove are so good!! 100% some of my favourites I've listened to. Edit: I love your blanket updates! Not tired of them in the slightest.🩷
Hi Katie, I love your videos so much, I joke with my friends that you are the only RUclipsr that I watch for more than 50 minutes/1 hour without getting tired of watching. Could you do a tour of your shelves showing how your books are organized? Kisses from Brazil!!! ❤🇧🇷
I looove the blanket and the crochet! It just adds to the cozy vibe of this video and now i want to start crocheing 👀 which I never thought Id want to try but it looks so cozy and fun! I love the beautiful vibe of your videos they feel like fall and autumn and give me all the feels of this beautiful time of year. Thank you for sharing them with us all 💖
me silently screaming inside out of happiness that you picked up Nettle & Bone! also, I really enjoy your blanket updates! i'm crocheting a granny square blanket too atm:))
i loved the spell shop! it was my first cozy fantasy and i thought it was so whimsical and wholesome! i just finished reading where the dark stands still earlier this month. i was thinking about you the whole time because it is totally something you’ll love! i definitely feel like it’s a good summer into fall transition read
Autumn for me begins late august , maybe last couple weeks in august so i love the idea of starting atmospheric books then ❤ Would love a video on matching books to months !
I really love Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley on switch - you should definitely give them a try! Also there’s this really cute game called Calico where you run a cat cafe and the characters’ outfits are so cute and I just highly recommend that game overall! It’s pretty easy gameplay too if you’re somewhat new to gaming. I love your videos!
i have told myself so many times that i’m going to start either animal crossing or stardew and i never do it!!😭 i really want to play them at some point though! and calico sounds so fun, i’ll definitely have to look into it, thank you!!
This fall, you should read the first book, Crimes & Poetry, from The Magical Bookshop Mystery Series by Amanda Flower It sounds very similar to the Spell for Forgetting but it takes place in a tiny village near Niagara Falls ! 🧡
I love your blanket! I agree with the squares that are mostly pink being a little much, though i do like the ones that have a hint pink in them You could talk about any book and have my attention lol blabby blabb blabber🧡
Ugh, same on weaving in ends. Every time I skip weaving in as I go Future Me has regrets. I'm currently reading the galley for an upcoming debut - The Crescent Moon Tearoom - which is a cozy historical fantasy about triplet witch sisters who own a tearoom/tea-leaf reading service just off the Loop/State Street in Chicago (in about 1895) and then shenanigans ensue. I'm about 3 chapters in and it's fun so far. Comes out in October. Aww, Winnie being so cute in this vlog
i love your blanket updates! im a cross stitcher but crochet has been tempting me 👀 psst, im not much of a gamer but night in the woods is THE perfect fall game! i replay it every year in fall.
you should totally try out crochet!! it’s so easy once you get the hang of it! and i will definitely be checking out night in the woods, you had me at “the perfect fall game”👀👀
Read T. Kingfisher’s newest release, ‘A Sorceress Comes to Call’!!! I also struggled to click w her other books no matter how hard I tried, but a sorceress comes to call is INCREDIBLE and gotchic and Victorian vibed and I think you’ll love it!
I can feel fall coming already. This is the time for reading and writing fantasy. I just received The Green Rider yesterday and will start reading it this week.
So excited for the Fall. I started reading Daughter of Smoke & Bone and went in blindly so I have no idea what the book is about and boy do I have questions. I am also finally getting back to reading Powerless by Lauren Roberts and slowly reading Lady Midnight so far the vibes of all the books I am reading is getting me excited for the season.
going in blind to that series would certainly be an interesting experience haha, i hope you’re enjoying it though? i really need to continue that series myself, but yay for perfect early fall reads!
I first bought Foxglove when it released, but I dnfd it. But I had every intention of going back to read it, it wasn’t having the same effect on me as Belladonna. But I’ve really been wanting to start it again! This may be the sign to pick it back up! 😊
katie I think you would love the game animal crossing new horizons for your switch!! Its so cozy and cute, and you get to design your own little island with the cutest villagers
I think you'd like a game called Wytchwood! The main character is a grumpy witch and the art style is SO stunning! It's definitely giving cozy autumn vibes! Also your black & white gingham bag!!! It's so pretty!! ❤ is it baggu? I'm curious what size it is!
I just finished Belladonna yesterday i was reading along with the audiobook i cant wait to read foxglove next month and wisteria the month after hopefully the audiobook comes out the same time as well! I love the blanket updates! I really wanna make a cardigan for the fall! And you gave me an idea how i to director the right side of my weeks im always stumped what to do
Great vlog. I've recently been wanting to get back into Latch Hooking. Which is part of the sewing crochet world lol. You should definitely give it a try. 📚🧋
Your videos are always so beautifully shot ❤❤❤❤ 52:19 I have also been saving Spells for forgetting for August because of the chapter header 😓😓 good to know it's not actually set in August so I don't feel like I once again missed the perfect time to read it 😂😂
I’ve just finished my first T Kingfisher - What Moves the Dead - and I loved it. A retelling of The Fall of the House of Usher, with evil fungi! What’s not to like 😹😹 seriously, I really enjoy T Kingfisher’s writing style and this book had a lovely gothic vibe along with a healthy dose of wry humour. I’ve ordered the next book in the Sworn Soldier series (What Feasts at Night) and also bought A Sorceress Comes to Call, and Nettle and Bone. Interspersing that with some India Holton - Ornothologist’s Guide… was lots of fun, and I reread the first Dangerous Damsels book as well.
If you’re going to read a haunted house book by Darcy Coates, The Carrow Haunt was my favorite! I’ve read almost all her books and that one remains my favorite! It’s atmospheric and spooky and did get scary at times!
Nettle and Bone is my favorite T. Kingfisher book. I've read two of her other books (What moves the dead/what feasts at night), and though they were well written, they were fairly simplistic in nature (as one would expect from horror?), so I didn't really feel like they would stick with me long term. I have thought about Nettle and Bone many times since reading it, and I don't doubt I will read it again in the future, if I ever re-read anything.
I just finished listening to Half a Soul at your recommendation (I had to clean my entire apartment) and I was literally kicking my feet and giggling the whole time
I don't have Tales From The Perilous Realm, but have most of the stories in another hardcover edition. I may have to buy this edition just for the new art.
I have read 4 T Kingfisher books. What moves the dead, What feasts at night, The raven and the reindeer, and nettle and bone. I liked them all (4 stars) except what feasts at night. I have no idea what happened with that book but I thought it was awful.
hollow knight is such an amazing game! i've definitely come to the realization that i won't ever beat it, but exploring new areas is so fun! i'm impatiently waiting for hollow knight silksong to come out 😊
I felt similarly about Foxglove. Love Sigma and Death, really disliked the shift to the new character POV and all her angst and irrational anger, and I thoroughly disliked Fate and his whole thing. I really only enjoyed the story, like you, when we got to the Foxglove house. The ending made things better, but I loved book one so much more. Hoping book 3 is better! Love your journaling content, and the blanket content as well! Eagerly awaiting fall vlogging content!💕
I've heard a lot about Belladonna and Foxglove and this vlog has convinced me to pick it up! I can't wait to read it! I am really interested to know what plot point you are talking about in 33:40 though can you share?

@@someuser2851I would….as a seasoned knitter and crocheter it’s good to weave in at least 2 different directions. If you don’t mind ends popping out just go for working over them ❤😊
For me Belladonna was a solid 5 star no questions, Foxglove was a 4 star. I still loved the characters and the setting was really cool but it didn't have the same level of intrigue as Belladonna. Still super excited for Wisteria!!!
