I get chills every time I listen to this song, when Chan sort of speak-sings “There’s so many voices” in that tone after the fast and powerful raps from Han and Changbin. It just hits so different. And yes, his singing in this when he sings “Step out of them voices” strikes as something really special too. Not only is his voice beautiful, but I think he’s a master of expressing emotions when he sings. I really feel them, especially in this song. From everyone, mind you. They’re all brilliant. But, Chan… somehow… I feel both vulnerability and strength from him so clearly. And I love it. ❤

I love seeing reactions to this song because no one spects Changbin coming in the track like that. It's just so impactful, the dance, the music, their expressions, the lyrics, and the force they're singing it. It all just makes the song 1000x better. This is one of my favorites and one of the reasons I decided to follow this group ❤️

@@Itsmehanse gods, i miss that Changbin sometimes. Or, no, miss is the wrong word, cause I love the way he has evolved, but I would not even be a little bit sad to see that aggressive style we all know he can do again 😭💕
@@KidTheFail He's tone and voice changed so much, i dont even know if he able to be back in that kind of rapping style, Raspy voice. But yah, I miss the old changbin especially the district 9 and my pace era

Yes! SKZ is always amazing but love the OT8 version so much more.

@@MorePara8 I genuinely love both versions (Voices is one of my favorite songs, period), but the choreo and setting and lighting and just everything about the ot8 special video makes it _so_ beautiful and emotional for me to watch.
This song is incredible. Period. It will always be in the rotation. The way Chan sings "voices" in that high note gives me an out of body experience every time. Then his "there's so many voices" sounds so vulnerable it's like a punch to the gut every time! This is a special song.
God, I love it when Changbin comes in like that. He is awesome, they are awesome. Great song. And when Binnie and Han rap back and forth like that… love it. Love the appreciation for my biases Changbin, Han and Lee Know.
I love the emotion Chan brings to this song, it’s almost like he’s in agony and it is so powerful!
So funny. First 10 seconds Teddy looks a bit bored and then wild Changbin comes in with his wrecking ball and I wet myself at Teddy’s reaction
Chan told us before ,in this song all those "huuuuuuuuhuuuuuuhuuuu" sounds made by Lee know. Yeah 😂 I know that was a very clear example for the sounds 🤦

I've watched a lot of reactors for this song, and my absolute favorite part is the beginning - most are like, oh... it's a slower song. And I just grin and wait for Binnie to come in. And when he does, ohhhh the reactions are so good. I know you didn't think it was going to be a slower song, but I still loved your reaction when Binnie came in. He's my absolute favorite and I just LOVE the energy he brings to this.

I love how you pointed out Minho at one moment, because even with him being one of my biases, I sometimes feel like his voice is less, let’s say, “impressive”, than others’ (which might partially be because I’ve grown accustomed to it after listening their songs so many times?) but I always end up agreeing with what you notice and it’s REALLY refreshing
His voice is just a drastically different type from, for example, the typically powerful ones of 3racha. I think those are something I love and seek in singers’ voices, and that is why I neglect other types, for example softer ones as Lino’s but which is so so beautiful and touching in its own way

teddy, woojin has never said that he did much for skz. they even aren't able to talk about each others bc of the contract. actually, he always had less lines and music was not for him, that's why he left. leave my guy alone, he doing better now, as skz do as well 😭🫶🏼

@@cherie2861 thanks, i see what you’re saying and i understand the frustration around misinformation, but i think it’s important to remember that at the end of the day it was still a very rough and tricky period of time when he left because of the sudden way his contract was terminated. therefore it’s understandable that stays will hold a grudge or resentment . personally i just chose not to interact w him as that’s what skz do, and they even redid the songs for that purpose of completely separating him from their image so i respect that decision
@@cherie2861 it’s also an assumption that he is referring to woojin( although i agree in this case) in the same way it is equally assumed that chan was talking about woojin when he was discussing how he had been betrayed by someone close to him, so again, everything is very unclear and we cannot draw solid conclusions except for the fact that the whole process was painful.
Not sure if you know but Woojin was there main vocalist when he was with them...
Chan vocals give me life, and we don't hear them on their own often enough because he often places himself in support vocal roles (which are important of course). His voice just always hits me right in the heart
The choreo for this song is an actual art-piece, like- can they not! Its too much talent in one video!
I recently discovered this song and i can't say anything about it apart from it hit me hard emotionally . Chan and his part hits me with major goosebumps every time one pf my all time favourites.

Teddy you became a real stay omg, I've never been to kpop till Stray Kids and my path is very similar to you. Firstly I was like wow great songs, and then I found the parallels, connections between songs and MVs and this amazed me so much, as western artists don't have things like that. I hope you continue your wonderful journey

Lee Know has a dance track called "Dawn" (like Hyunjin's "Play w Fire"- no singing) and DanceRacha has one under SKZ talker, both from the beginning 4yrs ago. Wasn't sure if you've been told yet and I just saw Dawn on my news feed. And Hyunjin has a few more, one is AOTM. Of course DanceRacha slays, even when they were so young💃❤️🔥

This actually my first time seeing the video (been a Stay 3 years now). I've never hears the woojin part, cuz I only listen to the redone version, when the guys re-released the old songs. He has a nice voice. *shrugs* lol, didn't realize how hard it is not to be snarky. Try listening to the version from the remixes. It's mostly the same.
This is a song that comforts me a lot although the lyrics are the opposite😅 but this song is so calming to me and I cried when I first heard this.I love a lot of skz songs and a lot of songs from other groups but it's safe to say that this is my favorite kpop song at all times.
