    I use a weight at the top of my ruler to weigh it down, as Jordan fabrics showed on their web site......it works well for me for keeping the ruler from moving as I cut.
    This video is so well explained you can’t mess up........good luck....

    Just finished my first row (Row 5) and I am very excited to move on to paper piecing with freezer paper. I do like the crispness of solid colours, but I am using up fabrics from my stash and they all have a small pattern. My colours do not match Irene's exactly, but I am saying in the same tones/colours and I do like the texture that I have, at least in my first row. This is my first QAL and so far, so good. Thanks so much Irene for this project and for your easy to follow instructions.

    • @ferrelli1001
      @ferrelli1001 4 года назад

      Carine Esterhuyse, that depends on whether you are using the same colors as Irene. She is using the rainbow colors with a dark gray as her accent and light gray (silver is the color by Kona fabrics) as her background fabric and the bright yellow (papaya in Kona fabrics) as her pieces in this row. This is row 5 and the papaya is the fifth color in her stack of rainbow fabrics. (Yup, she is starting with row 5 and not row 1.)
