As someone who works with elementary kids, would like to see you do one of these for children’s Bibles-specifically which thought-for-thought versions/paraphrases are most faithful and accurate, because there is a lot of careless writing out there.
I gave the She Reads Truth to a newly married young couple along with The New NIV study Bible..so young they are only 19 n 20. God Bless them...and you for your work
I'm 36, but my first teen bible made such an impression on me, I would love to have it again. I had the Revolution bible from Zondervan and it was absolutely wonderful. They did a really good job at making the bible relevant to teens during the early to mid 2000's and it was simply wonderful. I've seen the new Revolution bibles and it's simply not like it was in 2003 or so. Love the video!
@@timwildsmith Hey Time, do you prefer NIV or NLT? I already have the Tyndale NLT Life Application Study Bible as well as Joyce Meyer Battlefield of the Mind Amplified Bible. I am a first time student of the Word & I love the study Bible but I want a separate plain Bible with no notes just to read in (maybe take notes) - I want to just read through it normally & then use the others to go in depth - I’m wondering if I should make this another NLT or NIV. Just wondering your opinions on what a good plain Bible is & what I mentioned above😊I know Zondervan NIV Journal the Word Bible is popular & Tyndale has some NLT’s. Thank you!!!
Good stuff I’ve thought for a long time that the CSB study Bible was the best for student. But they no longer offer a compact version. T. Hockensmith sent me 😁
When I was a teen, I think it was 1999 and I was gifted the Life Application Study Bible... Teen edition. Complete with all the cringe late '90s teen clipart that was en vogue back then. I got it from a family friend and I was very appreciative because it was big and heavy and seemed like it cost them more than they needed to spend on me... But I remember also being disappointed because I was the studious academic type that was naturally drawn to an adult study Bible because I wanted to delve into the history. 😂
Lol you said the ESV Student Bible is for “younger teens”, here I am 37 and just bought it for myself. I think Crossway mislabeled that one tbh, it has as much content as any other SB or even more with the articles and glossary in the back. Especially the Doctrines section! Reminds me of like a Ryrie Study Bible from back in the day. glossary in the back. It’s fantastic!! Basically I think the Student and Concise SBs should have been swapped in terms of marketing….

I’m 15 and I was looking at getting the Allan 8 kjv bible .It’s the cheapest Allan bible I think at £85 .I’d be interested in a review on it because I can’t find one anywhere .I like your videos and your reviews.God bless
