    He's a dangerous narcissist. This guy nailed it. All his supporters would be wise to look up narcissist personality disorder. He only cares about himself. He said he was going to run after being embarrassed big style by the pres at the Washington Correspondence Dinner. Everyone was laughing at him. This is why he is running.

    • @mrdexs
      @mrdexs 8 лет назад +1

      I thought I was the only person who observed that. You can look at his face in that clip and see exactly when he decided to run. You do not need to be a mensa candidate, to see how sick Trump is.

      D Howard Oh, that is wonderful! Really? You got that, too! Can we analyze this together? I'll find the link. This will be fun. Hahaha "you don't need to be a mensa candidate". Good one, man. Let me ask you this: did you think of Carrie, Stephen King? "They're all gonna laugh at you." Cue pig blood followed by death and destruction. Yeah. I see a parallel. And guess what? Not a mensa candidate.

      Hillary had a breakdown or mini-stroke about two weeks ago. She is having seizures too. Now Hillary Clinton needs a script or the brain damage is obvious. All of her lies have reached 'critical mass' and the result is organic brain syndrome. I don't want to see anyone suffer with mental illness. I sure don't want them running America.

      There seems to be strong anti-trump lobby from the Jews. First it was Andrew Tesoro and now Schwartz. Maybe they are concerned that he might pull the plug on the aid to Israel or not engage militarily. To think that these guys had a sudden change of heart after all these years is highly suspect.

    the first questions of course when you have a hit piece like this should be: what are your politics? who in politics do you have a beef with? Etc.

      This is a man who spent a lot of time with Trump and even ghostwrote a book for him, so it is entirely appropriate for him to testify to Trump's character. Forgetting that Trump doesn't really have any political positions beyond building a wall and forcing Mexico to pay for it. Still, we don't have to take Tony at his word, even if he did ghostwrite for Trump. He is just verifying what is obvious to most of us, telling us from his own experience to trust our gut feeling that Trump is a narcissistic sociopath. Now go find someone who ghostwrote a book with Hillary willing to describe her as such. Maybe she is a sociopath too, but at least she hasn't asked why we can't use nuclear weapons since we have them.

    • @rhwinner
      @rhwinner 8 лет назад

      +Meng Hao Trump is a narcissist, as you say. But not to the detriment of his own country's security, like Hillary Clinton - who has taken personal enrichment at the public trough to a new low.
      Say what you will about Donald Trump, he has never intentionally harmed his country, or its public servant's lives at risk, for the crass purpose of padding his nest egg.

    As an American living in the UK that is the general consensus I have found among friends and work colleagues....that Trump is doing this purely for the kudos. What I keep getting asked is, "why on earth do these Trump supporters believe a billionaire is going to save them"?
    I honestly can't explain it, Trump is obviously a showman, but I'd have thought it obvious even to the most blinkered of Trump supporters, that the "only" thing Trump really cares about is himself, money and his family in that order.

    • @mostlyharmless88

      You're using too much logic, you're assuming his supporters use logic. They're all Christians, they're born and bread to follow without questioning so they've been primed to be enamored by a charlatan.

      @321snoot 8 лет назад +9

      Why? Because way too many of our fellow Americans will fall hook, line and sinker for just about anything that's packaged to suit their own selfish needs. The Trump demographic is under-educated, white, and lower-income, and he's tapping directly into that. Hate Mexicans because they're taking your jobs and a few cents out of your Wild Turkey dough? Think we need a "real man" in the White House who's going to tell the rest of the world who's The Boss? Then, hey, Trump's your man. It's no wonder other countries think we're a bunch of self-absorbed, lunkheaded cowboys. But, as P.T. Barnum once said, "There's a sucker born every minute." Yes, frogstamper, a billionaire who - I'm sure! - never lied, cheated, stole, or bullshitted all his way to the bank. Leopards do not change their spots. Stay where you are, frogstamper. You're better off.

      LOL. You live in the UK, had the people vote for Brexit without understanding what it means and you are asking why Trump Supporters believe a billionaire is going to save them? Really? Stupidity and racism is universal. They all say the same thing, "He is a Billionaire and has created jobs" and can't get any deeper than "We want a non politician". As H L Minken said almost a century ago "Nobody ever went broke underestimating the taste of the American public." We got two crooked people running, god help us all.

      Wow, Tim don't tell me, let me guess. You will not be voting for Hillary. But you really should bring your rhetoric back into some sort of reality. Comey showed there were 3 emails, incorrectly marked and easily missed as being classified(out of 65000) that slipped through and there was no willful intent on her part. If you really believe she sold secrets to enemies, you are too far gone to even have a rational discussion with.

    I am not a republican and I am not a democrat. But I am a ghostwriter. And what I know is that ghostwriters sign NDAs - non-disclosure agreements. This agreement states that you, as the ghostwriter, are never to take credit for the book written, never to copy it, sell it, etc. It's a legal, binding agreement. The point is that Trump has the legal right to call it his book - to call it his creation - especially if his ideas are in it - and especially if he edited it. So, how can Tony come public with this without legal repercussions? Why isn't there any regard for the legal relationship between a client and a ghostwriter? If there is no legal regard, can I start telling everyone about the 40+ books that I wrote as a ghostwriter? I didn't even get any royalties, or make millions like this guy Tony Schwartz. My point is that Donald Trump has every right to call it his book and to say that he wrote it since he HIRED a ghostwriter to write his book. That's the way it works.

    Oh come on, He admitted in the first part of the article that he didn't like trump , never liked trump , and was wondering why Trump had chosen him. Schwartz was hired to watch him work, not watch his personal interactions. It's a book about making deals. Making money. You couldn't access him psychologically, because you're not a salesman. You don't know how sales men think. After following him around and realizing that a rich business man is a selfish business man ,you're shocked by it. Live and learn.

    A ghostwriter is not credited as an author (notice the lack of “author”
    in the title)-but more than that, she or he is a “ghost” as far as
    credit goes. Essentially, a ghostwriter does not normally receive any
    credit for your book because when you hire a ghostwriter, the published
    book is yours alone. While a coauthor is invested in the client’s vision and
    in the book as his or her own creative project, a ghostwriter is
    invested primarily in the client (that is, the author) and the client’s
    satisfaction with regard to the manuscript. When you hire a ghostwriter,
    the roles of author and writer are split. A ghostwriter will handle the
    mundane work of stringing words together, while you maintain complete
    authorship: controlling all final decisions about the ideas, tone, and
    vision of the book.

    Wow. I was struggling for a year to find a description of my Narcissist ex-boyfriend. Then I came up with the word "black hole". Now Tony Schwartz uses it! Not only that, his emotions about Trump (and lack of them) are exactly how I felt about my ex. So I agree with Schwartz's warning. Narcissists AREN'T CAPABLE OF JOY! And they don't know that love and self-sacrifice actually exist, they think it's a game that everyone plays. They really are like black holes. There's nobody inside.

    • @zeroceiling
      @zeroceiling 8 лет назад +7

      Tony Schwartz penned an article on the plight of seniors in one of Trumps buildings..which was noticed by Trump.
      Within a week, a partnership was formed between Tony & Donald to write a book on Trumps business strategies.
      With Trumps annual business activities into the billions...it was patently clear that this little project was an afterthought for Trump..nothing more.
      Tony likely had a mandate to write the book and Trump would sign of on it with possibly a couple of "suggested" changes / additions.
      It is a well know fact that Trump is virtually unavailable even to contractors doing hundreds of millions of dollars with him...so a book worth a couple of million to Trump almost certainly got Tony a full total of maybe 10 minutes a week..tops.
      Tony then went on to make more money on this book than on anything else..several million dollars in fact.
      He gladly took money from a guy who disgusted him...while fully exaggerating his relationship with Trump at every level.
      Shameful..

"Frightening", and "horrifyingly reminiscent" did, too. Greg Stillson (Sheen's character) and Trump are made of the same "stuff": narcissistic, power hungry, and that charming trait of "telling it like it is", at the expense of insulting people. So wait a minute... what exactly did Trump do? I didn't hear anything worth condemning him over. Let's consider the charges-
    He has no attention span- someone who can stand at a podium and give anything more than a ten minute speech, clearly has an attention span. I have seen many interviews where Trump sits and answers questions, and stays engaged with the interviewer. So that claim is false.
    There was also criticism of "Trumps character" sans any definition of "character", or any examples of poor character, bad character, good character... anything. So that claim is false.

    If you choose to hire a writer as a coauthor, the resulting book will
    only be partially yours. A coauthor can help you write and publish a
    book, but that book will be based partly on your vision and partly on
    hers or his. A coauthor is not just a writer-she or he is also an
    author.
    On the other hand, a ghostwriter is the writer but not the
    author of your book. Writing is an art, but it is also a craft. A
    ghostwriter, like any other craftsperson you could hire, is concerned
    with satisfying your vision for the end product as completely as
    possible.
