But which boss was better in terms of difficulty, music, and overall background and goals, Gruntilda or this boss in the video...
Zard Master Ray 64 Gruntilda. Because of her boss music, the way she talks, the phases etc. in boss fight terms she is way better than capital B though as an overall villain they're both great.

That last part gave me serious Gruntilda PTSD hitting her with Kazooie is just as hard as getting those damn missiles to hit Captial B.

To everyone, idc if the voices are annoying. To me it's just the banjo kazooie formula. It just fits the personality and goofiness.
(Also P.S. Can you show the 2 ice keys that references the stop n swop ice key. The keys also has a purpose in that in the ice world for that it reveals a secret world with 1 key and idk what the other does.)
This game is NO Banjo Kazooie, let's put it that way
But I'd rather have this than nothing at all. Playtonic can grow and improve. Banjo, the best we can hope for is him being one of smash ultimate's dlc fighters.

@Philyutuber2022alright dude, I know it hurts especially since with microsoft laying off 10,000 people and all of the key stff except gregg mayles being at playtonic essentially mean their appearance in smash ultimate is banjos tomb but you dont have to be an ass about it

I'm honestly only here because the boss is done so shittily with the tedious frost plant phase and the shitty missile phase where you can't both dodge the missile, angle to hit himself, and gain energy back all at the same time. I wanted to love this game but there's so much that's just executed poorly, colectathon urges are all that kept me going and wanting more bosses
There's a tonic that recharges your energy faster. Also it just sounds to me like you suck at playing this rather then it being bad.

With Banjo it was memorable and catchy because it fit his entire personality as a whole for it had multiple sounds when he talked each with its own voice to it. Yooka's voice sounds so snarky, annoying with it's constant two sound effects that it becomes obnoxious with its "Ahaahahahahah"

Am I the only one weirded out how to defeat this dude Yooka has to roll into his crotch? It makes it weirder as u hear his/her giggles as they keep rolling up against his crotch.

My game crashed when the final scene was supposed to show. It saved the trophies and when I load my file I sure got access to the tonics but still a bit of an underwhelming way to finish the game. XD

It's way better then Banjo-Kazooie and is a great game. That's what I say about it.
It bugged me SOOOO much that so many times only a single word was being cut off. Like it's a simple adjustment away!
after beating this guy and all that dialogue about how he was just a corporate tool i was sure they were setting up a secret FINAL final boss fight against some other entity who outranked capital B (maybe "capital A"!?) wonder if that was planned at some point and scrapped for time or budgetary reasons
Well this boss fight and music was bland and disappointing.
huh never thought of using the laylee yell to get rid of the small bees i just use the roll's shield when i small bees are going to attack then use the speed rush roll to knock Cap. B and use the buddy slam on him. lol

Also hope in the next game the devs. will read the feedback of the players and do like they did in conker and use voice acting with the speech bubble over the characters. however I didn't have much of problem of the voices here.

It wasn't nearly as bad as this back in Banjo Kazooie, though.
Kageryushin sounds exactly the same to me.
Go back and watch Banjo Kazooie gameplay. Kazooie is incredibly noisy the whole time you are jumping around making a sound similar to the Goofy yell any time you hold the jump button.
But bless that amazing game
Noisiness isn't precisely the issue. The voices are _sharper_ and _grating_ in Yooka-Laylee compared to the the old Banjo-Kazooie voices, at least as far as I can hear.

This game just seems so unfinished, and just... Out of the place. I don't know how to explain it but it doesn't look like it'd be enjoyable to anybody but casual gamers
Its actually pretty fun, just not perfect, the last boss is really hard

Why beat the game the moment it comes out!?
I hope the sequel for Yooka Laylee will have full voice acting instead of sounds from the animated Yooka laylee video from Mashed, it has voice acting that should fit the characters, they also need to change the design for Yooka and Laylee from the design from the mashed Yooka Laylee animation, have more, have more fun gameplay, and more challenging levels, if Playtonic can get the rights to the rare characters, maybe banjo and kazooie will appear as playable characters and it would be a threequel to banjo kazooie and a sequel for yooka laylee, maybe put Conker in as a cameo
It's based off Banjo so it probably won't change(The Voices). Also why would they change the design? They created the design not mashed

Yes, Banjo-Kazooie was. Luckily this game is much better.
I actually had lots of fun and was impressed how well made it is for an indie developer, however by the end i wanted it to be over, there are improvments for a sequel, and some rough parts

This game was too rushed. The captured 0% of the magic banjo tooie and partly kazooie had. The game was locked inside a factory house, and......the game was tedious from start to end. As soon as i started to get the hang of it, the unlocking of worlds was finished, so all i sat left with before finishing the game was frustration and never really enjoying the game. It's really sad, i actually had some expectations to it.
We will never see a game like banjo kazooie and tooie ever again, it hurts, but thats life.
