This is really cool hearing all the different versions. My favorite is the SNES Street Fighter II 0:57, followed by the Sharp X68000 5:51, and 3DO 10:15.
This game was the closest thing I ever got to religion, growing up, seriously it took over my life. Changed my friends at school. Where I went in my spare time (arcade) Kept me out of trouble. I just love everything. The amazing, genre defining gameplay and depth. Graphics, SFX, music. The best game of all time.

Can you put the SNES trumpets into the Sega Genesis Beta ?? If you switch the trumpets from SNES with the SEGA BETA. I mean put the SNES trumpets into the SEGA BETA. Together with the heavy bass and everything the BETA has, it will become the best.
I'm trying so hard to find the Sharp X68000 version used in this video. The only Street Fighter ports for the Sharp X68000 are the Champion Edition and the New Challengers ports. The former uses the arcade soundtrack, and the latter uses a different arrangement from the one in the video. So strange...
That x68k version you have on this list is actually from a cover that someone made. Capcom's official championship edition x68k track is a bit rough due to how the drum track was programmed
Man, the music in SSF2 for Mega Drive/Genesis is significantly worse than the music for the other SF2 port on the same system. Wonder what went wrong there.
With that port, they just put the SNES or arcade music through an auto conversion process, unlike the previous port where they had an actual human arrange the music for the Genesis.
