FUN FACT: Balrog’s real name was M. Bison, a play on Mike Tyson. He was even modeled after Iron Mike in looks but obviously taller. To avoid legal conflicts they renamed the original Balrog M. Bison and gave the boxer the name Balrog

Balrog name and M. Bison name were switch Balrog was M. Bison now think about this character and who comes to mind when you see him... Mike Tyson, M. Bison so they switch character names and M. Bison became the final boss and Balrog. When you look at the 2 characters you could see that Balrog looks more like what that character would be named and M. Bison looked like the boxer.

I don't blame Balrog for crying tears of joy in his ending since it's understandable and who says men can't cry? Not me!
I figured Guile and Sagat would be the hard fights (Sagat was, naturally, you just barely squeaked by). Wasn't expecting T-Hawk to give you so much trouble.
