I am currently working on a Driv3r: Definitive Edition mod with a few Driver discord members. I will post a video about it when it's ready. The mod will include the fixes from this video and some new stuff.

In order to fix that, do not get the game from myabandonware. Instead, go to my channel and find Driv3r Definitive Edition Trailer which has a proper download link for Driv3r with Patch2. After you install it, do not follow this outdated video, instead get Driv3r Definitive Edition since it has even more fixes than this old video shows.

Get Driv3r Definitive Edition and Driv3r from that video because you got the oldschoolgames version of the game which has missing cutscenes and buggy graphics.
@@Tena-city i got rid of it a while ago. That's why i cannot uplaod. However, you can improve your textures by increasing anisotropic filtering to 16x. You can do that with Nvidia Control Panel or AMD Radeon Software or Intel Graphics Center. Also make sure you get the Xbox Particles on PC which is in the description.
Hello I would need help because I tried to modify the ini file to be able to have the full screen but when I put "MinResX = 1440", there are still the black bands on the side, the game is not not fully full screen on a 32" 2560x1440
@@zombie-2358 good, I found the solution to my problem, it was simply necessary to put the right value in the right place which is "MinResX = 2560" and I have the full screen, whereas previously I had put 1440, it does not could go. Thanks for your quick response though bro.
That is a Patch2 bug. There is currently no way to fix the white bullet holes. Patch1 has no bullet holes but has in fact other graphical bugs. I recommend staying with Patch2

hey not able to figure this out on my own...for some reason my audio in cutscenes is just not playing. It seems like it tries to play something but just does like a really sharp "skipping" sound. I tried looking for "MILES Fast 2D Driver" in the in-game options, but it's not there? So unless I'm supposed to do that on a system level I'm not sure how to enable that.
hey bro all good it's just i don't get the wet roads and reflections with the graphics mod, i did everything right and also i use a widescreen fix which has a camera to player distance changer and the draw distance changer which is crazy good
@@zombie-2358 Oh it works now man thank you! it's amazing to see the game with the light it deserved, i remember Fireboy guy played 10 minutes of driv3r and i was bumping my head wondering what the mod is, it was just a reshade. Thank you for making this. also i don't know if it's the texture pack but driv3r keeps crashing. Reshade also has really cool stuff like VHS video and lens effects that are honestly amazing and give shine to old games
@@zombie-2358 thanks again I had gta san andreas and vice city before I ever had driv3r played it at a friend's who's parents disapproved gta but let him have this game because you work with the police so it's different ;) lol but this game really clicked i really love old car chase movies and this had that vibe it's nice to see it get love great game
The texture pack is in the video description. I do not recommend it though since it crashes your game and makes loading longer. It doesn't depend on your system it's because of the game not handling HD textures so well. You can try it, but I supplied a backup of the original textures in the same link.

That is a Patch2 bug. There is currently no way to fix the white bullet holes.
Patch1 has no bullet holes but has in fact other graphical bugs.
I recommend staying with Patch2

Apparently wet roads work if you turn off Anti-Alias in the game settings.
Also the wet road effects are called SSR and ReflectiveBumpmapping

Widescreen Fix only worls with Patch2 exe. So you shpuld replace your with the one in description.

I'm not sure. It should work with PS2 controllers or other ones. The game can detect a gamepad i think.

ive found 2 different widescreen patches but there isnt a option for 2560x1440 144hz does this patch not support it?

However, the widescreen fix may make it 60hz. I am not sure.
