@blackbeast22 because its faster than a 625hp GT1 spec car. When you compare laptimes of 2009 Super GT and Japanese Lemans at Okayama, the GT1 cars have around 5 seconds slower laptimes than Super GT's. These cars as said in the video are heavily modified, esp. aerodynamics... while GT1 cars are closer to road versions even though they have more power.
