This will work even if you have the Clark board set "Firing tank gun hull recoil On/Off" to the Off setting. This means that the tank will not experience recoil when firing the cannon, which is great since hull recoil from firing is soooo unrealistic. (Tested on a Clark TK-40S). A slight annoyance that you have to set the firing recoil intensity to level 2 when the older xenon bulb style (non SMD LED) worked without any programming required.
Got this flash unit to work with a 7.0 Tiger. To insert the flash to the barrel you dont need to destroy the bb unit. Just remove the metal barrel connecting the bb unit to the gun barrel and insert the wire. For the flash, i hot wired it with the BB gun channel and the blue wire to the white wire of the IR connection. Still did not solve the bow and arrow action of the recoil though.
