I would love to have seen you do the 2600 ohm test. Mine looked like crap as far as SWR goes. I have wound many 49:1 transformers, and I know the circuit well. Adam's board is awsum. Ahe traces go where they should. Adam designed it as an auto transformer configuration. Adam counts 14 turns after the two, which is 16 total turns which I always counted as a 64:1 I finally after tearing it apart several times, I ended up doing two twisted turns which I soldered a test resistor and 100 put cap and tested the core which although wasn't good SWR wise, did test out as wired correctly. So I am just waiting for weather to turn and going out in the field. It would be fun to see these tested in the field.

When I was in high school my Dad had me helping do some stuff in the back yard. I don't even rember what, just that I was at the picnic table while he was putting together a new barbeque grill. After about 30 minutes I heard him laugh. He was done about 5 minutes later. He came over to the picnic table to help me finish up whatever it was that I was doing. I asked what he was laughing at earlier. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a slip of paper. "I found this in the parts bag" he said. It read "When all else fails, read the instructions!" He then said "if I had done that, i'd have saved 20 minutes!"
