This video deserves an award. fantastic narration. The value this will be in the next couple decades after completion of this project will be unreal. 🏆
Thanks for this video, the complexity of this area is just staggering! BTW The concrete plant at the crossover box is making shotcrete. A special type of fibre reinforced concrete that is sprayed onto tunnel walls of bare rock or soil to form the tunnel lining. you can see one of the TBMs being assembled in the crossover box for the drive north to the viaduct. So the tunnel between crossover and OOC station box is probably being dug manually and shotcreted
The, Logistics tunnel isn't going to the crossover box. It goes to the other end of the site to deliver materials and remove spoil from the Euston tunnels. Work is about to begin on assembling those two TBM's they will then drive the first 200 yards of tunnels then be mothballed until the Government sees sense and let's them get on with the job. At the north western end, TBM Emily is about 250 metres into it's drive. That's construction of the southern or down tunnel. TBM Anne is getting ready to start it's run. That's the one that you can see the tail of in the crossover box.
Great video; thanks for this. So is the blockade of Paddington happening because the GWML is being slewed north adjacent to (or is it over?) HS2? Do you know how long this will mean Pad. is closed? How will they fit all those trains into Euston? Will the Elizabeth Line still run past this area and to the lower level station?
As far as I know the plan is to build and lay tracks to the first 6 platforms in the new main line station then to close the line for 2 or 3 weeks to allow the main lines to be connected to run through the station. The remaining two platforms will then be constructed.
The CCP needs to take direct and complete control of this project as quickly as possible without any interference being permitted - Network Rail and all other U.K. rail bodies are no longer fit for purpose and immediate, groundbreaking, radical and innovative legislation must be passed in Parliament as quickly as possible to make this happen
Erm, you might want to look at their failed projects and construction quality instead of falling for the CCP propaganda. If you think the UK is bad just look up Tofu Dreg construction and the disasters it has caused on their infrastructure and even house. You will be glad that there is safety legislation in place in the uk. Oh, the railway is in a trillion dollars in debt.
Nine miles out, away from Euston & terminating in Brum. You could not make this up & if viable will probably be carbon neutral in about 700 years time. Hope the whole thing collapses in on itself if it hasn't already economically.

You're doing a great service of documenting this project. Thank you.
@Ambo HS2 are doing this, not some insignificant kid ! 😣😣😂😂😂😂
@@SirReginaldBlomfield1234 He is updating us way more often than HS2 is bro.
A great source of archive footage for future generations to watch. 🤓
@deauvilledad 🐂💩 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

There is no rock in the south east of England.
Thank you , much appreciated.

That spider like contraction as you call it, is a standard concrete boom pump
Thank you

I think they've also trialled running the IETs into Waterloo on diesel mode
@@tomwatts703 Waterloo and Euston
At 1/2 TPH i believe

Where does all the soil go to by rail, is there any chance to see this area so we get a full picture of events?
This is a great idea, I'll have to find out!
A lot of it is going to fill in a quarry near a cement works at Southam near Rugby.
Great video, do they allow you on site to operate the drone or are you outside the boundary?
I stand outside the boundary for sure
A great video thank you.
Is there anything left of the old station e g. platforms?
What old station? Old Oak Common has been a depot for GWR then BR, then HEX.
wow that has moved on a far bit from last time i saw it
Great video, when do London Paddington close in 2025 to enable them to do the work at old oak common
When those wagons are full, where does it all end up at
What are the carcasses for?
Have laid any track yet?
No tracks have been laid any where on the HS2 route

you want the Chinese Communist Party to take over?
Chinese Communist Party?😊 😊
Why is there only one tunnel in the round excavation near the cemetery?

HS2 is now going to London Euston
