Anyone can throw a punch, and yes some people have intimidating punches or punch as fast/hard as they can to try to win a fight/situation, but what I have learned in training (taekwando and MMA), you only have so much energy to throw punches. Her body posture was off, to avoid injury, winding yourself, and getting the maximum amount of kinetic energy and power into a punch is to use your whole body by pivoting your back/support leg like a screw and twisting your hips and shoulder towards the target. Also make sure to twist your fist closed into a ball once you are about to make contact with your target as that increases speed and can help develop accuracy and correct hand movement. And also work on kihaps (a yell you make when you kick/punch something) too, that helps exercise your lungs to help you with cardio so you can stay in the game much longer. To all those getting into martial arts as well and feel discouraged/intimidated by others progress, take it easy and don’t stress it. We all go and learn at our own level. It takes years to perfect punches and moves, even black belts make mistakes. I wish everyone all the best, have fun, stay safe and to the girl in that second tiktok, I hope this advice helped you so you can perform better in the future 😊
Oh and if you dont mind me adding on, for harder hits, punch towards the side of them and change last second so that your mind won't soften the hit because it knows its another person.
