Hi, I passed the State Portion a couple of weeks ago. I watched all your videos! Thanks for great info! I also purchased PSI's exam prep. I'm a Broker in GA, but also licensed in multiple states.
Wanted to come back and thank you for your videos. I passed both tests and your videos were very helpful, also the way you explain things made it a lot easier to understand Thank you!!
Thanks for this content again. I am about to take my State Brokerage exam again for the umpteenth time. I usually am about 5-6 points away from passing. UGH. I am rested. I have studied. I will have time to read each question two or three times. It is the EXCEPT and NOT questions that trip me up. Contracts and forms and misc. according to the feedback is what I am weak on. Wish me well. I am ready to start my real estate career.
I failed with the best score yet. I am four points away from passing. YAY. Scheduled a retake for the first of March. I will keep you all posted. Ugh. The 100th time is a charm right?
You got this Major! 4 points you are so close! The double negative questions on the State Exam are something else. Keep hitting the contracts & agency for your review!
I still don't understand the answer of this question at 33:31 "Colorado-approved contracts contain a clause that states the parties agreed mediate if they have a dispute. All of the following are true of the clause Except?" why it's not "C: It is not a negotiable choice" cause the question says 'all true except' and mediate it is a negotiable choice, right?
The answer is not "C" because mediation is stipulated in the contact. Both parties agree by signing the contract to buy/sell that they will go to mediation if a dispute arrises. If they do not agree to terms in mediation they have the right to go to arbitration or litigation.
I just passed my national your videos really helped me ! Im now trying to pass my Colorado state ! I did see a question on the state I have not see in any course/video before I don’t know if you can help
I have a question.. on the test there was a question that had directions like East and west and so many feet I believe what name of measurement is that ?
I used Colorado Real Estate School and the questions from this video look a lot more like what I saw on the actual state portion. Is there an app that you recommend that has similar questions?
Hey Ed, I'm the co-owner of Denver Real Estate School. I have just taken the test enough times & this point that I understand what you will be facing. How is the schooling going?
Everything I am seeing says you need 60/80 to pass national and 54/73 to pass state, however I have gotten a 75% on the national test twice this month and I failed. Did the passing score just recently change?
Hey, great question! For 2024 the passing score on National is 60/80 & State is 53/74. Here is the link from PSI candidate.psiexams.com/bulletin/display_bulletin.jsp?ro=yes&actionname=83&bulletinid=163&bulletinurl=.pdf
Yes! Buyers agency is real. I think this is a big misunderstanding in the New Build world as well. That sales rep is not on your side. They work for the builder!
Thanks for the comment! This link you sent was for California, not Colorado. In Colorado a UA can create a CMA on behalf of the broker, if the analyses are approved and submitted by the broker to the client with a disclosure that the market analyses were prepared by the unlicensed assistant.. Great info. I'm licensed in California but moved to Colorado. I was told I only have to take the Colorado state exam. What do you suggest? Thanks.
Welcome to Colorado! I would stick with Colorado Forms & Contracts. Colorado does NOT have Dual Agency.
