i have another video where i mounted them. but i run 215 45 17 because of my close fitment. but if you are not as low as i am you should run 225 40 17 or if you want extra grip 235 40 17. i used to run 235 but they rubbed like crazy
No reason to apply stripper once you sand papered them. Thorough cleaning between grits and w the polishing ball. Wear ear pro. You're young so you won't heed this advice and at the same time need to start wearing ear pro now before it's too late. Why o why did you not clean the barrels and reverse side of the faces??? All that work just too be overpowered by the grime 8[ It'll be visible when mounted, js. Gud job w the rest tho.
I wear AirPod Pro headphones that use noise cancelation so, my ears are protected 80% of the time. Also i used the stripper because, i wasn't sure if all of the lips had all the clear coat stripped prior to my ownership. i didn't want to do the barrels because they are far gone. I'd probably need to have them sand blasted or weeks of sanding, in a way that is careful enough that i just get the grime off but i do not go through the metal. i have an updated video where i acquired another set. this time a set of 5. My plan is to OD on those to make them absolutely perfect, instead of these. that way i always have a set on my car and can take all the time i need to make them perfect.
