That moment when you are like "awwww" and then you realize these moths don't have mouths or proboscis meaning they die in a matter of days after they even emerge from their cocoons...

You should have a show on Animal Planet. Your stuff reminds me of the stuff I used to see on that channel as a kid, I haven't check it out for awhile, but the channel seems to lack the educational programming that it used to have.

+Jacob Behnke I knooooow >_____________< I didn't realize it until after I filmed it! I actually watched the movie on RUclips while filming but it was too late to change it. I knew the internet wasn't gonna let me slide on that XD

Eh, no hard feelings. I mean, she DOES cause your typical kaiju rampage all the same. The motivation's just to protect someone rather than Godzilla, who just has an irrational hatred of modern architecture. :P

I was in my apartment in Adelanto California one day in 1984, and all of a sudden, I hear this weird scraping noise on my window. I looked and saw what appeared to be a bird, caught in my screen. As I approached, I realized it was no bird, but a GIANT moth. I don't mean like two or three times the normal size of a moth, I mean giant. It was about nine inches long and had a wingspan of nearly a foot. It was apparently on its last legs, and had landed to die, I could tell because it would barely move and seemed to have no fear of me at all. I let it walk on my hand and arm for a couple of hours, then I took it to a Joshua tree and allowed it to hang there until it passed away. It was completely harmless, but scary. In retrospect, I probably should have donated it to a college or museum, but I was 14 and didn't think about things like that.

+Enkidu Ereskigal So they tend to live 10 days on average as adults (and yes they do die soon after reproducing) but they spend far longer as larvae so it still balances out to a fairly standard lifespan for an insect. And thanks for subscribing ^___^

I know they’re friendly and harmless but I just can’t seem to touch one. Also because I don’t want to hurt it unintentionally with my arms or hands flailing about lol so I’ll never get close to one
