If you want to avoid the model pop-in when shaders are recompiled, set the shader mode to Async with Shader Interpreter. Also this game can run with the framelimit off and it looks amazing at 120fps. Edit: Scratch that, interpreted shaders seem to cause crashes at the beginning of the dam and in some parts of the burned lands.

Jump on the Elite with spyros earth ball until the mask drops off.
