Piotr Slonimski (Mitochondrial Genetics)

The following is an interview with Piotr Slonimski, founder and former Director of the Centre de Génétique Molécculaire du CNRS at Gif-sur-Yvette, France. The interview was conducted by his close friend and colleague, Giuseppe Attardi, Professor of Molecular Biology, at the California Institute of Technology. The interview was recorded at the Centre de Génétique Moléculaire du CNRS in Gif sur-Yvette, France, on March 21st, 2003. Giuseppe Attardi died in 2008 and Piotr Slonimski passed away in 2009.
