This was a nice representation...It missed to explain does el nino modoki have any influence over Indian monsoon? Recent studies show that teleconnections associated with ENSO Modoki influence the rainfall over India and South Africa

Sir, somewhere about difference in El nino and LA Nina written following "El nino accompanied high air surface pressure in western pacific. And LA Nina accompanied low air surface pressure in the eastern pacific." sir if in LA Nina it has low air pressure in eastern pacific then in El nino it has to be low pressure in western . Please correct me

Bro when LA NINO enters at Western Pacific(east Australian coast). Air surface Pressure is high at Peruvian coast and divergence towards west Australian coast causes WALKER CELL
Once check correct your question
what you said about EL NINO is correct but LA NINO you made a mistake

They are pronounced "El Ninyo" and "La Ninya". The Spanish letter Ñ is pronounced "enyay".

Thanks ...but not an expert in Spanish... geography is more important here and I belong to India , so pronunciation may be imperfect in Spanish...happy to learn though. 😀

@@TheGeoecologist I appreciate your explanation of ENSO, but "Nino" sounds just as wrong to native English speakers as to Spanish speakers and other Europeans. In the native Anglophone world, the Spanish pronunciation is used. The squiggly accent mark over Spanish and Portuguese letters is called a tilde.
