Thank you for this video sir. It helped me understand the concept in a better way. I just have a doubt regarding the question that you presented. The third point mentions "central india" and we are talking about positive indian dipole here which DIRECTLY affects tge S-W monsoon. So here shouldn't it be option 1 and 2? Because the monsoon in central india is majorly associated with easterly jet stream?

Good explanation but I have one question.During positive IOD there would be the low pressure on the western side of Indian Ocean and at the same time Indian landmass also experiences low pressure owing to high temperature.therefore, how wind move towards Indian subcontinent......

as the wind moves from a region of high pressure to a region of low pressure, so during positive IOD and La Nina phase, Mascarene Islands develop high pressure region in the southern Indian Ocean which compensates the low pressure over Arabian sea and over India as general and therefore is a source of Southwest monsoon in India.
