Thing is, if "favourite" means the one I've seen the highest number of times, then the Holiday Special is my favourite, as I have this disease that forces me to show it to everyone.
Never saw the holiday special. I was fairly late to Star Wars personally my introduction to the saga were the special editions that were released in 1997 when I was 8 . The first one I ever saw was a new hope. And it’s still my favorite. I trying to get a hold of the original theatrical cuts of the original trilogy as I’ve never seen them
11. The Phantom Menace 10.Attack of the Clones 9.Solo 8.Revenge of the Smith 7. Return of the Jedi 6. Rogue one 5. Force Awakens 4. The Last Jedi 3.The Rise of Skywalker 2.Empire Strikes Back 1. A New Hope I don’t consider Rogue one and Solo part of the main series but there both so fun I love Last Jedi it doesn’t piss me off that JJ pulled back on some of the ideas Rian went with Rise of Skywalker was so damn fun and epic I would’ve been fine if JJ made the whole trilogy
@@kyloren6443 given that 1) TFA is just a reskin of A New Hope 2) TLJ has the messiest plot ever, throws away everything JJ set up, has horrible choreography, a Mary Sue, and various other things. 3) TROS has palatine come out of nowhere, had a fleet that came out of nowhere even though there was not even close to being enough kyber crystals for it, stupidest explanation for Reys lineage, stupid Reylo moment, and other things. How are the sequels better than the prequels?

1. Revenge of the sith (just nonstop action, good story about how he became Vader, 5 lightsaber duels, I thought was well acted, people can hate on hayden but to me it’s more the dialogue and I thought he did fine with what he had to work with) 2. Return of the Jedi (the true ending of Star Wars for me, love the final battle, All the villains are defeated, love Vader’s redemption) 3. The empire strikes back (biggest twist in the franchise, best lightsaber duel out of the originals) 4. Attack of the clones (again I thought hayden did a good Job with what he was given, I don’t understand the hate of the movie, I thought showing how the clones were created, I like how you can see anakin start to question the Jedi and starts to turn when his mom dies, loved Christopher Lee, yoda fighting was epic and unexpected) 5. A new hope (the one that started it all, loved the poor farm kid rises to become a hero after losing his family to stormtroopers, just a great story and well acted) 6. The phantom menace (darth maul made the film, loved how anakin is poor and you know there’s something unusual about him, loved the pod race) 7. Solo: a Star Wars story (good movie to show the origins of Han but it seems unnecessary) 8. Rogue one: a Star Wars story (again good movie just seems really unnecessary) 9. The rise of skywalker (this movie was okay until the very end, I didn’t like how ben gets thrown off a cliff and we don’t get one last epic duel between the emperor and Kylo Ren, other than that it wasn’t bad just not as good as the ones above it, episode 6 was the end of the franchise for me) 10. The force awakens (this entire movie was a rehash of a new hope, with less interesting characters) 11. The last jedi (this entire movie was a middle finger to all the Star Wars movies, hated it.)
My ranking of every Star Wars film 1. A New Hope (1977) 2. Empire Strikes back (1980) 3. Return of the Jedi (1983) 4. Episode lll: Revenge of the Sith (2005) 5. Rouge One (2016) 6. Episode ll: Attack of the Clones (2002)
Well....we agreed 100% on the Elm Street and Aliens movies, 90% on Halloween and Friday the 13th movies. The Star Wars franchise.... we only agree on the number one film. I feel horrible now 😀
I loved almost all of the Star Wars movies, Sequels well inconsistent at times did have great moments, it wasn’t until The Rise of Skywalker for me when the Sequels finally knew what they were trying to be. Much like how Revenge of the Sith represented the best the prequels have to offer. Here’s my ranking: 1.) *Revenge of the Sith-The Fall of Anakin Skywalker, Palpatines rise to power, the eradication of the Jedi, and The most BADASS SOUNDTRACK OUT OF ALL STAR WARS MOVIES.* 2.) *Return of The Jedi-Anakin’s sacrifice was emotional, Luke was a flawed person but held strong at the end, and the Emperor is The Senate.* 3.) *The Rise of Skywalker-A Great conclusion to the Sequel trilogy, Great Villain, love Rey, and they finally got the Sequels right.* 4.) *Empire Strikes Back-Great Reveal, expanding into the Nature of the Force, a Great Love story, and great Characters.* 5.) *A New Hope-The start of the Hero’s journey and filled with iconic lines.* 6.) *The Last Jedi-Took Risks that were a surprise to be sure, Gambling planet was boring however, and Kylo had great development.* 7.) *The Force Awakens-Brings back good memories of the Classics but is far too reliant on them.* 8.) *Attack of The clones-Awkward lines but I Love the action and expansion on planets with unique environments.* 9.) *Phantom Menace-moderately paced, boring at times, but Duel Of the Fates was Epic.* 10.) *Rogue One-Fixed the Death Star plot hole, but was Forgettable apart from Vader’s Hallway Scene with Rebel slaughter.* 11.) *Solo-Exciting heist but unnecessary origin story that was forgettable at certain points.* The Ranking itself was primarily based around each I Remembered fondly, even if their were low ranks there are still things to love about each, but if I did have to say which were the weakest it was undoubtedly the Anthology movies, they had potential but fell flat in my opinion for not being all that memorable.
Jayizm REACT Empire Strikes back does do a lot of things proficiently well and tackles the smaller plots like when Han had a price on his head, that’s some good consistency, and it’s one of the things The originals were always good at, keeping it consistent while opening the door for new things. The Rise of Skywalker was something I didn’t expect out of an otherwise mess of a trilogy and due to that I rather enjoyed the film and admired what it fixes, and what it expands upon. But it can be argued by many that The Sequels will never be as widely loved as the Originals always were. And I guess that’s a problem, is because most fans go in thinking it will be better then The originals, and as a result ask to many questions. Whereas I went in wanting to know whether or not this would be a fulfilling end to the Saga, and to some extent, it was. Also avoiding channels like Geeks&Gamers helped Clear my head of any Doubt, because back when I had watched their channel they genuinely had no shred of hope for the Disney Star Wars and always have it a hard time, not only hating the movie’s, but also attacking the Executives. And they were not a healthy source of information when all they do is Blabber on about how bad something is, rather then looking at what it accomplishes as a Star Wars movie. Just my opinion.
The Force Awakens and Rise of SKywalker should be on the very, very bottom of the barrel. The Force Awakens was just a cheap rehash of preexisting themes. And Rise of Skywalker was unwatchable trash. And while I don't think Last Jedi was a great film by any means, it at least tried to go in a different direction and was watchable. I agree with the faults of the prequels being the overuse of CGI, the bland acting and subpar story. Hoowever, they all had a consistant narrative. I've never watched Solo nor do I want to. In that regard, I can't give an honest opinion on it. Rogue One, in my opinion, was arguably the best of the new Disney films. It was a nice side story that fit well in the overall Star Wars franchise. And it served its purpose fairly well. It might have been over the top in places, but what Star Wars film aren't? The original trilogy are classics. Even if I've lost interest in the Star Wars franchise as a whole, there's not much to negatively critique the original trilogy over.
Just saw Rise of Skywalker for the second time and changed up my rankings 1. Empire Strikes Back 2. Return of the Jedi 3. A New Hope 4. Revenge of the Sith 5. Rogue One 6. The Force Awakens 7. The Rise of Skywalker 8. The Last Jedi 9. The Phantom Menace 10. Solo 11. Attack of the Clones
Cody, I've realized when it comes to horror, you and I are generally on the same page. But we are at different ends of the book on Star Wars. haha. My list (from worst to best): 11) Last Jedi 10) Rise of Skywalker 9) Solo 8) Force Awakens 7) New Hope 6) Rogue One 5) Attack of the Clones 4) Empire Strikes Back 3) Return of the Jedi 2) Revenge of the Sith 1) Phantom Menace
Star Wars Episode VI - Return Of The Jedi Star Wars Episode III - Revenge Of The Sith Star Wars Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back Star Wars Episode IX - The Rise Of Skywalker Star Wars Episode VIII - The Last Jedi Star Wars Episode II - Attack Of The Clones Star Wars Episode IV - A New Hope Star Wars Episode VII - The Force Awakens Star Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace Solo - A Star Wars Story Rogue One - A Star Wars Story
11. Star Wars Episode II Attack of the Clones 10. Solo 9. Star Wars Episode I The Phantom Menace 8. Star Wars The Last Jedi 7. Star Wars Rogue One 6. Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith 5. Star Wars the Rise of Skywalker 4. Star Wars the Force Awakens 3. Return of the Jedi 2. Star Wars 1. The Empire Strikes Back
I like your rankings, Cody. My rankings from worst to best. 11.) Attack Of The Clones 10.) The Phantom Menace 9.) Solo : A Star Wars Story 8.) The Last Jedi (I had it at #9 but I bumped it up a spot because I think The Rise Of Skywalker made The Last Jedi just a little bit better) 7.) Revenge Of The Sith (Would have been higher if the last 45 minutes to hour wasn't so rushed and weirdly paced) 6.) Rogue One : A Star Wars Story 5.) Return Of The Jedi (Would have been higher if not for little cuddly looking Ewoks didn't take down "A whole legion" of the Emperor's "best troops") 4.) The Force Awakens 3.) The Rise Of Skywalker (I love it) 2.) A New Hope 1.) The Empire Strikes Back
11. Attack of the Clones (A bit boring and some pretty awful diologue) 10. Solo (I found the beginning pretty cool but the third act was very boring) 9. The Rise of Skywalker (Very childish movie with so many bad plot points it’s rediculous. Finn did nothing. Poe did nothing. Made Palpatine look like a bitch at the end. Had Rey deflect force lightning, which Mace Windu could do because he was known for his skill with a lightsaber and trained for years, but he’s dead so who tf taught her that. I could go on for a while but I won’t. I still enjoyed things about this movie though.) 8. The Phantom Menace (Stuff with Qui Gonn and Darth Maul was great, everything else... and Jar Jar...) 7. The Last Jedi (Too much bad comedy and the stuff with the gambling planet was pretty bad. I enjoyed the stuff with Rey and Kylo though.) 6. Rogue One (Quite possibly the best third act in Star Wars) 5. Return of the Jedi (Another great third act. I loved everything about this movie except for the Ewoks.) 4. A New Hope (Limited because of the 70’s technology. But this movies great. Even though Luke can come off as a bit whiny at times.) 3. The Force Awakens (Earlier we had movies with great 3rd acts. Here’s a movie with great 1st and 2nd acts. My only flaw with this movie is how Rey beat Kylo when it was her first time ever picking up a lightsaber.) 2. Revenge of the Sith (Great story and a lot better dialogue. People always say that Anakin turned to the dark side too quickly. He turned to the dark side over a 3 movie period, so I don’t know how that’s quick.) 1. The Empire Strikes Back (I don’t have to say much about this do I?)
How are you going to call The Rise Of Skywalker "childish" when you have one of the terrible Prequels that features more overusage of CGI (very childish), Obi Wan Kenobi riding a huge CGI and goofy looking and sounding lizard, Anakin going dark over pussy (Padme), because he was passed for a job promotion (Jedi Master), and because he was an easily manipulated moron who couldn't jump high enough, terrible writing, terrible dialogue, terrible acting, etc etc as your #2 Star Wars film ???? ^^^^^^^ Lmao. Nah. Here's my list from worst to best. 11.) Attack Of The Clones (A terribly written, full of cringy ass acting and dialogue and a complete CGI mess.) 10.) The Phantom Menace (A boring and goofy and cringy CGI mess with a cool Darth Maul vs. Qui Gonn and Obi Wan duel and that's the only really good thing about it pretty much.) 9.) Revenge Of The Sith (Again, more overusage of CGI, more terrible writing and dialogue, ruining continuity, trying their best to turn Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader into a big joke, more cringy acting, and on and on, a terribly rushed final act that featured cramming everybody into the Episode 4 : A New Hope starting positions, etc. Overall better than the Phantom Menace and Attack Of The Clones but that's not saying much because those two films are like 80-90% garbage overall.) 8.) Solo : A Star Wars Story (It was a good little film and definitely much better than the "boycotters" would have you believe but I just didn't care for a Solo spinoff/backstory film.) 7.) The Last Jedi (It took some serious balls to do what Rian Johnson did. He ignored the fans and didn't give any fan service and didn't give in to the fans. Kudos to him for that. This is one of the most beautiful Star Wars movies visually/aesthetics wise. A very very well shot film. And this was so different from any other Star Wars film I've ever seen. It's an overall good film or at least has more good things about it BUT Rian Johnson went too far to avoid fan service to the point that it made it feel like this was his retelling of the first installment of the Sequel Trilogy instead of being what it was supposed to be, the middle sequel to the Sequel Trilogy. It added character development and told a story for it being it's own film but it didn't add much to the overall story of the Sequel Trilogy, which is why the Sequel Trilogy feels disjointed in some ways as a Trilogy but the Sequel Trilogy is still much better than that God awful Prequel Trilogy. This film should have just been called The Force Awakens Part 2 and this Trilogy should have been a Quadrilogy with the route Rian Johnson took.) 6.) Rogue One : A Star Wars Story (The other most beautiful Star Wars film visually and aesthetics wise. It was shot very very well as well. The story is a cool little back story that needed to be told to correct a plot holes from A New Hope. It accomplished that. The character development was lacking though. Every Darth Vader scene is awesome, especially his final scene. Just epic. The Last 1/3 of the film is one of the absolute best sections of Star Wars. It's amazing. Some people complain about the CGI done for Tarkin and Leia and yeah, I thought Leia's was mediocre to decent but the CGI done for Tarkin was amazing. And little known fact : Peter Cushing always wanted to do another Star Wars film but since his character (Tarkin) died at the end of the very first Star Wars film ever made, there was nothing for him until they did what they did in Rogue One. Peter Cushing ended up dying way before Rogue One was ever made but it was awesome and cool and out of respect to Peter Cushing that they actually found a way to bring Tarkin back. His estate and family agreed to it and Peter Cushing loved Star Wars and always wanted to star in another Star Wars film so Peter Cushing would have loved it. Very well done.) 5.) The Rise Of Skywalker (The film is not perfect and it has it's flaws and plot holes but every Star Wars film has flaws and plot holes, to be honest. They didn't need to bring the Emperor back but it was worth it. Emperor Palpatine is creepier and scarier in this film than we've ever seen him. Him attacking an entire fleet with his force lightening was mind blowing. And Rey didn't beat him on her own. Every Jedi that was speaking to her was helping her beat Emperor Palpatine, duh. The voices were Luke Skywalker, Mace Windu, Anakin Skywalker, Obi Wan Kenobi, Qui Gonn Jinn, Yoda, Leia, Ahsoka Tano, Kanan Jarrus, and two or three more. That was a scene 100% for the fans and it was well done. There was so much fan service in this film, it was incredible. Force Ghost Luke force lifting his X-Wing out of the water like he couldn't do in The Empire Strikes Back, Ben Solo blasting people with a blaster that Lando gave him as a gift when he was younger, Ben Solo blasting dudes/even no look blasting dudes like his Father did, Leia dying with Han's medal, that she gave him in A New Hope, in her hands. Luke grabbing his lightsaber out of the air and telling Rey "A Jedi's weapon deserves more respect", Lando saving the freaking day, Kylo Ren really outdueled Rey TWICE and really 100% beat her on the wreckage of the old Death Star. Her cheapshotting him while he was distracted and after he had already won the duel doesn't change that he won. Young Luke training young Leia on Endor was awesome. They only gave Rose a grand total of 1 minute and 17 seconds of screen time after all of the backlash after The Last Jedi. They made Rey a Palpatine and finally gave her a backstory and much needed character development and a story arc. Etc etc. There are a lot of really great things about this film. I had more fun watching this film than I have watching a Star Wars film since the Original Trilogy.) 4.) Return Of The Jedi (Yes, the silly Ewok stuff does stop me from putting this film higher. A few plot holes as well but still an otherwise really good film.) 3. The Force Awakens (Everything a new Star Wars film should be. F the haters and I agree with Cody, this does not come off as a rip off of A New Hope like so many people say. It's a truly great film.) 2.) A New Hope (The game changer for Sci-Fi specifically Sci-Fi Fantasy. A Masterpiece. Enough said.) 1.) The Empire Strikes Back (The G.O.A.T. Star Wars film. A Masterpiece. A top 15-20 film ever made, in my opinion. Again, enough said.)
Well, that‘s gonna be difficult. 11: Attack of the Clones 10: The Phantom Menace From now on, I like the movies more or less 9: Solo 8: The Force awakens 7: A new Hope 6: The last Jedi 5: Revenge of the Sith 4: The Empire strikes back 3: The Rise of Skywalker 2: Return of the Jedi 1: Rogue One After Solo, the movies upwards are so close together in my opinion, (especially because I haven‘t seen most of them in a long time) that it is really hard for me to rank them, but I tried my best.
1. The Empire Strikes Back 2. Return of the Jedi 3. A New Hope 4. Rogue One 5. Revenge of the Sith 6. The Rise of Skywalker 7. The Last Jedi 8. Solo 9. The Phantom Menace 10. The Force Awakens 11. Saw Episodes I & II in theaters (and re-watched I many times at home), but haven't seen either of them in probably seventeen years. I don't plan to either, as odds are I'll feel the same way as you did upon re-watch; it's also why I never saw Episode III, even when it first came out. I also have to confess that I haven't even watched the original movies in about as long a time, just in case I soured on them as well! Going off my memories of them, I'd put them in the reverse order that you did: IV, VI & V. I know that puts me distinctly in the minority, as most fans love Empire the most, and perhaps it just reflects how old I was when I watched them last; maybe I'll come around to feeling the same way if and when I ever re-watch them (I know, I know, I really should). The tones of those first three movies seemed to mirror those of the original Raiders trilogy: moderate, then dark, then light. (Interestingly, in spite of that, the preferences of fans for those movies don't match at all those for the Star Wars series.) I'd reverse the order of Episodes VII & VIII - both had plenty of flaws, but the latter films were ones of excessive ambition and the desire to cram in too many changes and different things into one film (maybe if Johnson had done all three films it would have been better?), while VII essentially recycled the first movie's plot, almost beat for beat. I knew before watching it that it took a lot of the first film's story, but I was surprised as just how much it did, and that disappointed me. The lack of ambition in that film is why I've not been too keen to see Abrams' conclusion to the third trilogy. (I did go to the theater for the 2016 through 2018 films.) As for the 'Star Wars stories,' I liked them a little more than you did: yes, you know how Rogue One will end, and some things that others might find nit-picky really bothered me, but I found it got better as it went along. Solo was perhaps the most purely entertaining movie in the series, although it could have been tightened up a little more. One problem that all of the movies after the originals is the heavy use of digital effects: the worlds in the films just aren't as interesting-looking or real-seeming as those in the first three movies, which was vital to those first three getting as deeply into all of our imaginations as they did. I often like to say that the bar scene in the first movie was the single scene that was ultimately most responsible for that film's success: those few minutes show just how much thought and work and creativity had been put into this universe. (Yes, I know I didn't actually rank the movies, but having not seen most of them in so long - and not wanting to see some of them again - it didn't really feel appropriate to do that. Hopefully my feelings came through well enough anyway . . . )
I'm glad most of my favorite YT'ers liked it. I loved it, love all 12 films in total. Great video and ranking man, ⛧🤘rock on dude!!!🤘⛧ ps. Obviously these films have their flaws...none are perfect; but I love them all. It's my childhood for me.✌ and Force Awakens is my Favorite right now...
My list, and I will get booed out of here Revenge of the sith Attack of the clones Empire strikes back Return of the Jedi A new hope Phantom menace Rise of skywalker Force awakens Last Jedi I loved attack of the clones when I was a kid and I love it now lol Respect your list though
This ranking does make sense and i can agree apart from episode 4 being low. I totally agree with acting being dated but the film has all the charm for me.. respect Cody 👍
My ranking: 11. Solo ( not bad by any means don't get me wrong but it's just a pointless movie to me) 10. Attack of the clones 9. Last Jedi 8. Phantom Menace 7. Rise of Skywalker 6. A new hope 5. Rogue One 4. Force Awakens 3. Return of the Jedi 2. Revenge of the Sith ( it would be number 1 if it wasn't for that "Noooo" Darth Vader scene and Padme dying because she lost the will to live) 1. Empire strikes back
1. Revenge of the Sith - Like you said Cody, Hayden's acting in this is better than in Attack of the Clones. Palpatin manipulating Anakin to the dark side was pretty interesting & just there interactions with each other I thought was well done. Also General Grievious I quite liked as a side villain. There's a lot of other things but the fights in the 3rd act between Yoda & Palpatin or Darth Sithious if you will & the end dual between Obi Wan & Anakin was awesome. 2. Phantom Menace - I know this is higher on the list than people would expect but I just love sort of the new setting & monsters & droids that George Lucas was able to come up with in this. Also unpopular opinion. I don't mind Jar Jar Binks. Obviously the end Lightsaber battle stills holds up and is one of the best in the series. Also Qui Gon Gin was cool in this & you get to see the beginnings of how badass Obi Wan will eventually become. 3. A New Hope- I just like the humble beginnings of Lukes story & also of Han & Princess Lea. Also Ben or Obi Wan in this, him explaining how the force works in this to Luke & just him as a character I really like. Obviously Vaders introduction as well you can already tell the threat he is in this 1st movie of the series. Also just the pacing and everything overall, nothing feels bogged down in this. Everything in this movie feels necessary to be there. 4. The Force Awakens- Yeah there's similarities to A New Hope but that doesn't really bother me & in fact I think it's what the series needed to start off on this new trilogy. However I would say sort of the chemistry overall between the new characters, Ray, Fin & Poe were there strongest here. Also the added new element of Kylo Rin as a villain he was his most compelling in this . Seeing Lea, Han & Luke again was definitely satisfying it all worked for me. 5. Attack of the Clones- Again probably an unpopular opinion to have this above some of the other Star Wars movies but I just have an appreciation for Lucas's prequal trilogy. Him expanding upon the universe more and showing more perspectives of everything. Also too the relationship between Anakin & Padme in this while it is cheesy and cringe a lot of the time, I think it makes sense for Anakin to be awkward with Padme since it was explained Jedi's weren't supposed to be in relationships and Anakin I think was still a teen here. Also just everything else I think the action scenes are pretty good & Christopher Lee as a villain is great. I don't know I just like it. Maybe this is more of a guilty pleasure if you will for me. 6. Return of the Jedi- I was going back & forth on whether I like Empire better than this, but I went with this. It could change to me on re-watches but having seen this recently I really like the development of Luke in this. He's very much in the prime of being a Jedi & just the confidence he brings off like you can tell he figured out the ways of the force & a Jedi Knight. Yoda telling Luke your ready don't worry you'll know what to do to conquer his dad Vader. Also Vader betraying Darth Sithious was really satisfying & the end scene of Vader taking off his Mask & having a final one on one with Luke was quite touching. Also I really don't mind the Ewoks. 7. Empire Strikes Back- This is one I need to re-watch because I don't really remember all the inner details and stuff but just all the stuff involving Luke and Vader was awesome. The sort of hide and seek Light Saber battle they have in the Death Star was cool and tense at the same time. Also the introduction of Lando was great. You could tell they had a history between him and Han Solo. 8. Rogue One- Now yes, a lot of the characters here kind of fall flat, particularly Felicity Jones character. I think she did a great job with the action scenes and stunts, but as a character she was pretty wooden. The character I liked the most were Donnie Yen's & Jiang Wen's characters. I thought there dynamic worked pretty well. Overall though I thought the action was great as well as the cinematography & yes that Vader scene was the best thing in the entire movie. 9. Solo- I thought this movie was Ok. Donald Glover as a younger Lando I think was great casting on their part. Also I didn't mind Alden Ehrenreich's take on a younger Han Solo. Showing off sort of the beginnings of Chewie & Han's relationship I liked all of that. Also I think Woody Harrelson & Emilia Clarks characters were pretty good. 10. The Rise of Skywalker- It's not the epic conclusion I wanted out of this trilogy but JJ returning to helm this movie you know I liked the directing and stuff he does. You know a lot of the humor and cheese factor I enjoy that. He may have landed it on to thick at times in this but I was fine with it. Also The Emperor returing in this was a good inclusion. However where they go with Kylo Ren & Rey's character I'm not so sure about. Also what they do with Fin I was really disappointed in. 11. The Last Jedi- This is last on the list because frankly I don't really remember much about it. I remember really just being confused most of the time on what was going on. I do remember the end battle scene which I thought was cool & pretty well done but other than that I can't tell you what happened in this movie, well except for one thing that I won't spoil to you if you still haven't seen this. I'll eventually re-watch this though and see if my position on it changes because I do recall not really liking most of this movie.
1 return of the jedi 2 empire strikes back 3 a new hope 4 the force awakens 5 revenge of the sith 6 rise of skywalker 7 rogue one 8 the phantom menace 9 attack of the clones 10 solo 11 the last jedi
Weird, I never thought I'd agree with ya a little bit on this list because I do enjoy watching some of your reviews even if I do disagree with a lot haha. This is the one instance where I'd swap maybe 2 on here but the last 3 will remain and that's a pretty solid list. Will say I am not upset with this wrapping up because I am ready for a brand new cast with new stories because Star Wars is so massive you can practically go anywhere with it. Can't wait to see where they go next.
Good ranking Cody. Mine would be 1. Empire Strikes Back 2. New Hope 3. Revenge of the Sith 4. Return of the Jedi 5. Force Awakens 6. Rise of Skywalker 7. Rogue One 8. The Last Jedi 9. Solo 10. Phantom Menace 11. Attack of the Clones
I too have also never seen The Clone Wars movie & refuse to. So my top 11 Star Wars movies are: 11. The Phantom Menace 10. Attack of the Clones 9. Solo 8. Revenge of the Sith 7. The Last Jedi 6. Rogue One 5. Rise of Skywalker 4. Return of the Jedi 3. The Force Awakens 2. Star Wars (A New Hope) 1. Empire Strikes Back
@@gnc623 Yes. I think J.J. shouldn't be allowed to touch franchises any longer. I am scared what he will do to DC / Superman. The Force Awakens is a decent film. I don't dislike it. But it definitely was just a copy of the original Star Wars structurally in nearly every single way. Its unfortunate that The Last Jedi had such silly choices made character/story wise, because the overall look I didn't mind. The Rise of Skywalker was just an editing mess with too many characters that didn't receive any time, and it was trying to make some sort of sense of the trilogy story.
My Ranking 1- The Empire Strikes Back 2- A New Hope 3- Return of the Jedi 4- The Last Jedi (sorry, I really liked it) 5- The Force Awakens 6- Revenge of the Sith 7- Rise of Skywalker 8- Rogue One 9- Attack of the Clones 10- Solo 11- The Phantom Menace (only movie I don’t like)
11- AOTC 10- Last jedi 9- The force awakens 8- Solo 7- Rogue one 6-Phantom menace 5- Rise of the skywalker 4- Revenge of the sith 3-Return of the jedi 2- Star wars 1- Empire

Ooh a ranking: here’s mine, currently I really enjoy this franchise! It’s such a divisive and beautiful series lol 1. Empire Strikes Back (Dark tone, but is a lot of fun still. Also feature’s Vader’s greatest villainy). 2. Rogue One (I love the story and how important this was to kick off A New Hope. Though it’s a bummer the characters all died, I love the cast and the acting. Plus it has a classic Star Wars feel). 3. Return of the Jedi (first Star Wars movie I ever saw. Lol I still love it). 4. A New Hope (a kick starter. Thoughts are the same as yours here). 5. The Force Awakens (it was a triumphant return. i love the new characters and loved seeing the old characters again. This one is in the middle for me.) 6. Revenge of the Sith (favorite prequel film. Definitely has flaws, but the story is great. It’s almost as dark if not darker than Empire). 7. The Rise of Skywalker (just came out of this one. It’s definitely better than Last Jedi. But it feels like it should have been the sequel the Force Awakens in the first half.) 8. The Phantom of Menace (Darth Maul and the Jedi’s story in this keep this one high for me. I wish Darth Maul has been in the series more in the prequels. He had potential to be the next Vader). 9. The Last Jedi (Rian Johnson wanted to be different, but he’s almost too different here. Subversion caused division. I don’t hate this movie. I actually loved it at first. But upon rewatch I’ve grown to dislike it more). 10. Solo (definitely don’t hate this one, but it feels unnecessary. It’s still fun. Well casted.) 11. Attack of the Clones (painful to watch anytime I watch through Star Wars. Just yikes. The final battle is cool. Still it’s the worst of the series).
Thank you for sharing. I would suggest as a Star Wars fan to another, give the animated series a shot. You mentioned you wish there was more of Maul, well there is A WHOLE LOT MORE. I think they have the most rich stories and arcs the whole Star Wars franchise has to offer. Both clone wars and some of rebels have the best things I’ve seen in Star Wars and collectively better than the movies.
1. The Empire strikes back 2. A new hope 3. Return of the Jedi 4. The force awakens 5. Revenge of the Sith 6. The Rise of Skywalker 7. Solo 8. Rogue one 9. The last Jedi 10. The phantom Menace 11. Attack of the clones

Ehhh, I already ranked the 11 live action cinematic Star Wars films but screw it, I'm ranking every Star Wars film I've ever seen. I believe it's 15 Star Wars films or Star Wars related films in total. From worst to best, in my opinion.... 15.) Star Wars Holiday Special 14.) Star Wars : The Clone Wars (the 2008 movie, not the TV/Disney+ Series) 13.) Ewoks : The Battle For Endor 12.) Caravan Of Courage : An Ewok Adventure 11.) Attack Of The Clones 10.) The Phantom Menace 9.) Revenge Of The Sith 8.) Rogue One : A Star Wars Story 7.) Solo : A Star Wars Story 6.) The Last Jedi 5.) Return Of The Jedi 4.) The Rise Of Skywalker 3.) The Force Awakens 2.) A New Hope 1.) The Empire Strikes Back Btw, The Mandalorian is the best thing to happen to Star Wars since The Empire Strikes Back. It's a truly awesome series on Disney+ and I can't wait for Season 2. The Clone Wars Series is pretty good. The Rebels Series is alright. That's all the Star Wars stuff outside of the Star Wars films that I've seen though.
For me the 2 spin offs don't count, only the 9 canonical legit episodes, so this will be my ranking: 9.- Attack of the Clones 8.- The Return of the Sith 7.- The Forece Awakens 6.- The Last Jedi 5.- The Phantom Menace 4.- A New Hope 3.- The Return of the Jedi 2.- The Rise of the Skywalker 1.- The Empire Strikes Back
1. Revenge of the sith 2. Empire strikes back 3. Rise of skywalker 4. The last jedi 5. The force awakens 6. Return of the jedi 7. Solo 8. A new hope 9. Attack of the clones 10. The phantom menace 11. Rogue one Don't let the list fool u cause I love all the films
The definitive and correct ranking ; 11. The Last Jedi 10. Rise of Skywalker 9. Solo 8. The Force Awakens 7. The Phantom Menace 6. Attack of the Clones 5. Rogue One 4. The Empire Strikes Back 3. A New Hope 2. Return of the Jedi 1. Revenge of the Sith
1. The Force Awakens (yes that’s right) 2. Revenge of the Sith 3. Empire Strikes Back 4. Rogue One 5. Return of the Jedi 6. The Rise of Skywalker 7. A New Hope 8. Solo 9. Attack of the Clones 10. The Last Jedi 11. The Phantom Menace
Just saw ROS so let’s see: 11: Phantom Menace-Still bores me though I like some of the characters 10: Rogue One-I never connected with any of the characters 9: Solo-Fun one off adventure 8: Attack of the Clones-Not a fan of Padme and Anakin but I really enjoyed Obi Wan’s plot line 7: The Last Jedi-wasn’t a fan of Luke’s arc but I think overall the movie works. Just not my favorite 6:The Force Awakens-Very similar to a New Hope but I think it’s out of praise and don’t mind it 5: A New Hope-a solid introduction with leaving room for mystery 4: Empire Strikes Back-Great action, the cliffhanger/downer ending with a hint of hope works well. 3: Return of the Jedi-It ended the original trilogy and for good reason. Memorable, and a nice redemption 2: Rise of Skywalker - A good wrap up, I love how the plots ended up. 1: Revenge of the Sith-one of my favorite “fall from grace” stories. Anakin vs Obi Wan is amazing
12. Clone wars movie 11. The rise of Skywalker 10. Attack of the clones 9. Last Jedi 8. Phantom menace 7. Solo 6. Revenge of the sith 5. The force awakens 4. Rogue one 3. Return of the Jedi 2. New hope 1. Empire strikes back Might change with rewatch (once d+ comes to Poland) but right now that's what I got. Great vid as always.

Worst to best in my opinion: 11. Solo (2018) - I don't see it as a backstory, no way! It's fan-fiction. 10. The Phantom Menace (1999) 9. Attack of the Clones (2002) 8. The Last Jedi (2017) 7. Revenge of the Sith (2005) 6. The Force Awakens (2015) 5. Return of the Jedi (1983) 4. The Rise of Skywalker (2019) 3. Rogue One (2016) 2. A New Hope (1977) 1. The Empire Strikes Back (1980)

I haven't seen Rise of Skywalker yet, I'm going in the morning, so I obviously can't rank it yet. That said, my personal list is: 1.) Empire Strikes Back 2.) A New Hope 3.) Revenge of the Sith 4.) Return of the Jedi 5.) Force Awakens 6.) Rogue One 7.) Solo 8.) Last Jedi 9.) Phantom Menace 10.) Attack of the Clones
Great ranking video 11. Attack of the clones 10.The Phantom Menace 9. Return of the Jedi 8. Revenge of the sith 7. Solo a Star Wars story 6. Rouge one a Star Wars story 5. A new hope 4. Rise of skywalker 3. The last Jedi 2.The empire strikes back 1. The force awakens
11) The Phantom Menace - (Hands down the worst Star Wars movie I have ever seen. It lacks a good story) 10) Rogue One - (TO ME we really don’t need to know about how the Rebellion got the plans for the Death Star. I don’t need a 2 hour movie about this) 9) Solo - (I love the idea of giving the audience background information about Han Solo and how he met Lando and got the Millennium Falcon, but the movie is mostly boring) 8) Attack of the Clones - (I know a lot of people put this at the bottom of their list, but for me, this has a lot of action that I have wanted to see and it begins the Clone Wars) 7) The Last Jedi - (People I know hare this movie, but I really would like to disagree just a little bit because it does continue my favorite trilogy in the Skywalker Saga. Some people don’t like that Luke wants the Jedi to end, but what else were they going to do with his character, they need to make this movie a little longer. However, this was the worst movie in the sequel trilogy, but it is not a horrible movie) 6) A New Hope - (This is the movie that started it all! It is great in every way to introduce us to our main characters of the story, but to me it lacks the actions and the lightsaber fights that I wanted to see, but it is a very good movie. 5) The Empire Strikes Back - (This is the movie that a lot of people say this is their favorite, but to me there are better Star Wars movies. It is a good movie with a good plot line and we get to meet Lando, but there are some parts in the movie that are a little boring to me and just to let you know that this is only my opinion) 4) Revenge of the Sith - (I love how this movie is almost 2 and a half hours and how we finally get to see how Anakin became the love able and hate able villain: Darth Vader that we know today and how Palpatine got his wrinkled face and how he revealed that he was the Sith Lord. There were some issue with this movie, but absolutely amazing!) 3) The Force Awakens - (It seems like a different and longer version of A New Hope, but it is better. I love the introduction to the sequel trilogy and how J.J. Abrams was able to recreate the beloved Skywalker Saga) 2) Return of the Jedi - (This to me was the perfect close to the original trilogy and how we finally see Darth Vader defeat and kill Emperor Palpatine and Luke is now a true Jedi) 1) The Rise of Skywalker - (Some people may disagree with me on this, but this to me will go down as the best Star Wars movie in history. J.J Abrams finds a way to bring the Skywalker Saga to a close and how we see our main characters return to the big screen one last time after 42 years of Star Wars from Lucasfilm Ltd. Even though the movie is a little rushed, this is a fantastic movie!)
My rankings of Star Wars films from worst to best. 11.) Attack Of The Clones 10.) The Phantom Menace 9.) Revenge Of The Sith (Sorry, Prequel Trilogy fans but I just watched the Prequel Trilogy about two or three weeks ago and I had a very tough time getting through it and I didn't find Revenge Of The Sith to be that much better than The Phantom Menace and Attack Of The Clones. The entire Prequel Trilogy either had me bored out of my mind or cringing hard.) 8.) Rogue One : A Star Wars Story 7.) Solo : A Star Wars Story 6.) The Last Jedi 5.) Return Of The Jedi 4.) The Rise Of Skywalker 3.) The Force Awakens 2.) A New Hope 1.) The Empire Strikes Back

As a die hard fan since I was 4 the sequels deserve the hate as someone who was unbelievably excited for the new films they were terrible and disappointed me greatly apart from the force awakens I actually quite like that film
Still have to see Solo 10: Attack Of The Clones 9: Phantom Menace 8: The Last Jedi 7: Rogue One 6: Force Awakens 5: Rise Of Skywalker 4: Revenge Of The Sith 3: Return Of The Jedi 2: A New Hope 1: Empire Strikes Back This is sort of out of the blue, but was Phantom Menace rereleased in theaters? I remember watching it in the theater but I was born in 2008. Please reply and tell me

Hey Cody have you ever seen braindead? (Aka dead alive in America) Edit: also the new Star Wars trilogy makes the old new trilogy look like Oscar nominations.
Hayden christen is terrible? Clown take. That’s how Vader was supposed to be. Perfectly in line with what Vader was in the originals. Again, clown take

Myself. Not to mention The Prequels got plenty flak, and The Anthology Series(well, what exists of it so far) got flak, as well. The Original Trilogy is the only set of movies that were pretty much well-received. Well, VI got flak because of The Ewoks, but still.....I grew up with TOT, so they will always rank highest with me. The only one I haven't seen or own yet is IX. I heard that before Solo, they were planning on a 3rd entry in The Anthology Series. I also heard that it was to focus on either Yoda, Boba Fett, or Ben "Obi-Wan" Kenobi. But after Solo tanked at the box office(don't see why), they either decided to not release any more Anthology Series movies, or at least wait a while on putting a 3rd one out.
1. Star Wars Holiday Special
That is all.
Thing is, if "favourite" means the one I've seen the highest number of times, then the Holiday Special is my favourite, as I have this disease that forces me to show it to everyone.
It's one of my favourite movies to throw on during smoking days
Mastpeiece of all masterpiece
Never saw the holiday special. I was fairly late to Star Wars personally my introduction to the saga were the special editions that were released in 1997 when I was 8 . The first one I ever saw was a new hope. And it’s still my favorite. I trying to get a hold of the original theatrical cuts of the original trilogy as I’ve never seen them
We dont talk about that .
Looks like someone forgot the Holiday Special.
Obviously that ones the best

I don’t consider Rogue one and Solo part of the main series but there both so fun I love Last Jedi it doesn’t piss me off that JJ pulled back on some of the ideas Rian went with Rise of Skywalker was so damn fun and epic I would’ve been fine if JJ made the whole trilogy
1) The Empire Strikes Back
2) Star Wars
3) Return of the Jedi
Rogue One is fine, and Revenge of the Sith is also good.
I loved that you called it Star Wars & not A New Hope. Real OG shit right there lol
Sequels and Solo are better than Phantom and Attack
@@kyloren6443 given that
1) TFA is just a reskin of A New Hope
2) TLJ has the messiest plot ever, throws away everything JJ set up, has horrible choreography, a Mary Sue, and various other things.
3) TROS has palatine come out of nowhere, had a fleet that came out of nowhere even though there was not even close to being enough kyber crystals for it, stupidest explanation for Reys lineage, stupid Reylo moment, and other things.
How are the sequels better than the prequels?

1. Revenge of the sith (just nonstop action, good story about how he became Vader, 5 lightsaber duels, I thought was well acted, people can hate on hayden but to me it’s more the dialogue and I thought he did fine with what he had to work with)
2. Return of the Jedi (the true ending of Star Wars for me, love the final battle, All the villains are defeated, love Vader’s redemption)
3. The empire strikes back (biggest twist in the franchise, best lightsaber duel out of the originals)
4. Attack of the clones (again I thought hayden did a good Job with what he was given, I don’t understand the hate of the movie, I thought showing how the clones were created, I like how you can see anakin start to question the Jedi and starts to turn when his mom dies, loved Christopher Lee, yoda fighting was epic and unexpected)
5. A new hope (the one that started it all, loved the poor farm kid rises to become a hero after losing his family to stormtroopers, just a great story and well acted)
6. The phantom menace (darth maul made the film, loved how anakin is poor and you know there’s something unusual about him, loved the pod race)
7. Solo: a Star Wars story (good movie to show the origins of Han but it seems unnecessary)
8. Rogue one: a Star Wars story (again good movie just seems really unnecessary)
9. The rise of skywalker (this movie was okay until the very end, I didn’t like how ben gets thrown off a cliff and we don’t get one last epic duel between the emperor and Kylo Ren, other than that it wasn’t bad just not as good as the ones above it, episode 6 was the end of the franchise for me)
10. The force awakens (this entire movie was a rehash of a new hope, with less interesting characters)
11. The last jedi (this entire movie was a middle finger to all the Star Wars movies, hated it.)

Well....we agreed 100% on the Elm Street and Aliens movies, 90% on Halloween and Friday the 13th movies. The Star Wars franchise.... we only agree on the number one film. I feel horrible now 😀
Agreed the TV shows add so much more depth to the star wars universe
I loved almost all of the Star Wars movies, Sequels well inconsistent at times did have great moments, it wasn’t until The Rise of Skywalker for me when the Sequels finally knew what they were trying to be. Much like how Revenge of the Sith represented the best the prequels have to offer.
Here’s my ranking:
1.) *Revenge of the Sith-The Fall of Anakin Skywalker, Palpatines rise to power, the eradication of the Jedi, and The most BADASS SOUNDTRACK OUT OF ALL STAR WARS MOVIES.*
2.) *Return of The Jedi-Anakin’s sacrifice was emotional, Luke was a flawed person but held strong at the end, and the Emperor is The Senate.*
3.) *The Rise of Skywalker-A Great conclusion to the Sequel trilogy, Great Villain, love Rey, and they finally got the Sequels right.*
4.) *Empire Strikes Back-Great Reveal, expanding into the Nature of the Force, a Great Love story, and great Characters.*
5.) *A New Hope-The start of the Hero’s journey and filled with iconic lines.*
6.) *The Last Jedi-Took Risks that were a surprise to be sure, Gambling planet was boring however, and Kylo had great development.*
7.) *The Force Awakens-Brings back good memories of the Classics but is far too reliant on them.*
8.) *Attack of The clones-Awkward lines but I Love the action and expansion on planets with unique environments.*
9.) *Phantom Menace-moderately paced, boring at times, but Duel Of the Fates was Epic.*
10.) *Rogue One-Fixed the Death Star plot hole, but was Forgettable apart from Vader’s Hallway Scene with Rebel slaughter.*
11.) *Solo-Exciting heist but unnecessary origin story that was forgettable at certain points.*
The Ranking itself was primarily based around each I Remembered fondly, even if their were low ranks there are still things to love about each, but if I did have to say which were the weakest it was undoubtedly the Anthology movies, they had potential but fell flat in my opinion for not being all that memorable.
Not disagreeing with u but why do u believe rise is better than empire? Just curious
@@Fi_Sci_ thanks for your input I can understand your reasoning

Why is Rogue One so low? I'd say it's better than TFA and TROS

Never seen a star wars movie , but seeing these widely different rankings is fun
You're missing out on some great stuff.
Just saw Rise of Skywalker for the second time and changed up my rankings

Nice
I been waiting for you to do a review of The Exorcist. I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on it
Six Paths Uchiha I would also love for Cody to review the Final Destination series
Fin vs Kylo was awesome and brutal!
Cody, I've realized when it comes to horror, you and I are generally on the same page. But we are at different ends of the book on Star Wars. haha.
My list (from worst to best):

1. The Empire Strikes Back
I like your rankings, Cody.
My rankings from worst to best.
11.) Attack Of The Clones
10.) The Phantom Menace
9.) Solo : A Star Wars Story
8.) The Last Jedi (I had it at #9 but I bumped it up a spot because I think The Rise Of Skywalker made The Last Jedi just a little bit better)
7.) Revenge Of The Sith (Would have been higher if the last 45 minutes to hour wasn't so rushed and weirdly paced)
6.) Rogue One : A Star Wars Story
5.) Return Of The Jedi (Would have been higher if not for little cuddly looking Ewoks didn't take down "A whole legion" of the Emperor's "best troops")
4.) The Force Awakens
3.) The Rise Of Skywalker (I love it)
2.) A New Hope
1.) The Empire Strikes Back
Our list is pretty similar man
Epic list
11. Attack of the Clones (A bit boring and some pretty awful diologue)
10. Solo (I found the beginning pretty cool but the third act was very boring)
9. I still enjoyed things about this movie though.)
8. The Phantom Menace (Stuff with Qui Gonn and Darth Maul was great, everything else... and Jar Jar...)
7. The Last Jedi (Too much bad comedy and the stuff with the gambling planet was pretty bad. I enjoyed the stuff with Rey and Kylo though.)
6. Rogue One (Quite possibly the best third act in Star Wars)
5. Return of the Jedi (Another great third act. I loved everything about this movie except for the Ewoks.)
4. A New Hope (Limited because of the 70’s technology. But this movies great. Even though Luke can come off as a bit whiny at times.)
3. The Force Awakens (Earlier we had movies with great 3rd acts. Here’s a movie with great 1st and 2nd acts. My only flaw with this movie is how Rey beat Kylo when it was her first time ever picking up a lightsaber.)
2. Revenge of the Sith (Great story and a lot better dialogue. People always say that Anakin turned to the dark side too quickly. He turned to the dark side over a 3 movie period, so I don’t know how that’s quick.)
11.) Attack Of The Clones (A terribly written, full of cringy ass acting and dialogue and a complete CGI mess.)
10.) The Phantom Menace (A boring and goofy and cringy CGI mess with a cool Darth Maul vs. Qui Gonn and Obi Wan duel and that's the only really good thing about it pretty much.)
9.) Revenge Of The Sith (Again, more overusage of CGI, more terrible writing and dialogue, ruining continuity, trying their best to turn Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader into a big joke, more cringy acting, and on and on, a terribly rushed final act that featured cramming everybody into the Episode 4 : A New Hope starting positions, etc. Overall better than the Phantom Menace and Attack Of The Clones but that's not saying much because those two films are like 80-90% garbage overall.)
8.) Solo : A Star Wars Story (It was a good little film and definitely much better than the "boycotters" would have you believe but I just didn't care for a Solo spinoff/backstory film.)
7.) The Last Jedi (It took some serious balls to do what Rian Johnson did. This film should have just been called The Force Awakens Part 2 and this Trilogy should have been a Quadrilogy with the route Rian Johnson took.)
6.) Rogue One : A Star Wars Story (The other most beautiful Star Wars film visually and aesthetics wise. Very well done.)
5.) The Rise Of Skywalker (The film is not perfect and it has it's flaws and plot holes but every Star Wars film has flaws and plot holes, to be honest. I had more fun watching this film than I have watching a Star Wars film since the Original Trilogy.)
4.) Return Of The Jedi (Yes, the silly Ewok stuff does stop me from putting this film higher. A few plot holes as well but still an otherwise really good film.)
3. The Force Awakens (Everything a new Star Wars film should be. F the haters and I agree with Cody, this does not come off as a rip off of A New Hope like so many people say. It's a truly great film.)
2.) A New Hope (The game changer for Sci-Fi specifically Sci-Fi Fantasy. A Masterpiece. Enough said.)
1.) The Empire Strikes Back (The G.O.A.T. Star Wars film. A Masterpiece. A top 15-20 film ever made, in my opinion. Again, enough said.)
A great ranking and definitely one of the better and unbiased ones I've seen, Aaron. Well done.

Jermo force awakens is probably his favorite
U disappointed me
Saw Episodes I & II in theaters (and re-watched I many times at home), but haven't seen either of them in probably seventeen years. (Interestingly, in spite of that, the preferences of fans for those movies don't match at all those for the Star Wars series.)
I'd reverse the order of Episodes VII & VIII - both had plenty of flaws, but the latter films were ones of excessive ambition and the desire to cram in too many changes and different things into one film (maybe if Johnson had done all three films it would have been better?), while VII essentially recycled the first movie's plot, almost beat for beat. I knew before watching it that it took a lot of the first film's story, but I was surprised as just how much it did, and that disappointed me. The lack of ambition in that film is why I've not been too keen to see Abrams' conclusion to the third trilogy. (I did go to the theater for the 2016 through 2018 films.)
As for the 'Star Wars stories,' I liked them a little more than you did: yes, you know how Rogue One will end, and some things that others might find nit-picky really bothered me, but I found it got better as it went along.
My list, and I will get booed out of here
Revenge of the sith
Attack of the clones
Empire strikes back
Return of the Jedi
A new hope
Phantom menace
Rise of skywalker
Force awakens
Last Jedi
I loved attack of the clones when I was a kid and I love it now lol
Respect your list though
The Last Jedi is my favorite not gonna lie
👍
It’s in my top 3
It’s my least favorite
This ranking does make sense and i can agree apart from episode 4 being low. I totally agree with acting being dated but the film has all the charm for me.. respect Cody 👍
My ranking:
11. Solo ( not bad by any means don't get me wrong but it's just a pointless movie to me)
10. Attack of the clones
9. Last Jedi
8. Phantom Menace
7. Rise of Skywalker
6. A new hope
5. Rogue One
4. Force Awakens
3. Return of the Jedi
2. Revenge of the Sith ( it would be number 1 if it wasn't for that "Noooo" Darth Vader scene and Padme dying because she lost the will to live)
1. Empire strikes back
Absolutely love this ranking because finally I found someone not influenced by the internet and the fan base. Thank you so much, you are a rock star

No way you put 8 over 4,6,3,7
The plural of Jedi is Jedi
Weird, I never thought I'd agree with ya a little bit on this list because I do enjoy watching some of your reviews even if I do disagree with a lot haha. This is the one instance where I'd swap maybe 2 on here but the last 3 will remain and that's a pretty solid list. Will say I am not upset with this wrapping up because I am ready for a brand new cast with new stories because Star Wars is so massive you can practically go anywhere with it. Can't wait to see where they go next.
Good ranking Cody. Mine would be
1. Empire Strikes Back
2. New Hope
3. Revenge of the Sith
4. Return of the Jedi
5. Force Awakens
6. Rise of Skywalker
7. Rogue One

9. Solo
8. Revenge of the Sith
7. The Last Jedi
6. Rogue One
5. Rise of Skywalker
4. Return of the Jedi
3. The Force Awakens
2. Star Wars (A New Hope)
1. Empire Strikes Back
It's honestly better than Solo, TROS, and AotC
Re: Force Awakens - "A lot of things they were trying to set up for this trilogy" - Its well known that they had absolutely no plan.
Even J.J. has admitted this now.
My Ranking
1- The Empire Strikes Back
2- A New Hope
3- Return of the Jedi
4- The Last Jedi (sorry, I really liked it)
5- The Force Awakens

Ooh a ranking: here’s mine, currently
I really enjoy this franchise! It’s such a divisive and beautiful series lol
This one is in the middle for me.)
6. Revenge of the Sith (favorite prequel film. Definitely has flaws, but the story is great. It’s almost as dark if not darker than Empire).
7. The Rise of Skywalker (just came out of this one. It’s definitely better than Last Jedi. But it feels like it should have been the sequel the Force Awakens in the first half.)
Well casted.)
11. Attack of the Clones (painful to watch anytime I watch through Star Wars. Just yikes. The final battle is cool. Still it’s the worst of the series).
I would swap Solo with Phantom Menace but it's your opinion
Thank you for sharing. I would suggest as a Star Wars fan to another, give the animated series a shot. You mentioned you wish there was more of Maul, well there is A WHOLE LOT MORE.
I think they have the most rich stories and arcs the whole Star Wars franchise has to offer. Both clone wars and some of rebels have the best things I’ve seen in Star Wars and collectively better than the movies.
1. The Empire strikes back

Attack of the clones
Phantom Menace
Revenge of the sith
Rogue one
Force awakens
Rise of skywalker
Return of the Jedi
A new hope
Empire strikes back
I’m glad I found someone else doesn’t like last Jedi
I don’t mean to self promote, but explanation for this will be on my channel
Solo in last place is a joke. Rogue one has boring characters and is pointless to watch. Solo is entertaining characters and I actually want a sequel
Finally got around to watching this.Great video, man.I'll keep watching.

Fair ranking
Ehhh, I already ranked the 11 live action cinematic Star Wars films but screw it, I'm ranking every Star Wars film I've ever seen. I believe it's 15 Star Wars films or Star Wars related films in total. From worst to best, in my opinion....
15.) Star Wars Holiday Special
14.) Star Wars : The Clone Wars (the 2008 movie, not the TV/Disney+ Series)

Btw, The Mandalorian is the best thing to happen to Star Wars since The Empire Strikes Back. It's a truly awesome series on Disney+ and I can't wait for Season 2. The Clone Wars Series is pretty good. The Rebels Series is alright. That's all the Star Wars stuff outside of the Star Wars films that I've seen though.
@Spidey’s movie review’s and gaming Pro 1do you hate everything let people have their fun.
It's definitely a ranking...

XpertFusion Interesting list.
Cyriss Smith ruclips.net/video/36lEg63hpL0/видео.html
XpertFusion Lmao. Good comeback, honestly. (No sarcasm)
Just saw ROS so let’s see:
11: Phantom Menace-Still bores me though I like some of the characters
10: Rogue One-I never connected with any of the characters
9: Solo-Fun one off adventure
8: Attack of the Clones-Not a fan of Padme and Anakin but I really enjoyed Obi Wan’s plot line
7: The Last Jedi-wasn’t a fan of Luke’s arc but I think overall the movie works. Just not my favorite
6:The Force Awakens-Very similar to a New Hope but I think it’s out of praise and don’t mind it
5: A New Hope-a solid introduction with leaving room for mystery
4: Empire Strikes Back-Great action, the cliffhanger/downer ending with a hint of hope works well.
3: Return of the Jedi-It ended the original trilogy and for good reason. Memorable, and a nice redemption
2: Rise of Skywalker - A good wrap up, I love how the plots ended up.
1: Revenge of the Sith-one of my favorite “fall from grace” stories. Anakin vs Obi Wan is amazing
Cat Bowser Fantasy Therapist sith number 1😂😂😂
My top 4 are the original trilogy and Rogue One.
Mine is original and Last Jedi
@@thepunisher2232 same.
I know im not the only one but rise of skywalker was a huge disaster.

i’m a big Star Wars fan can’t wait to see Rise of Skywalker 💙😀
Hated it
Loved it
It's pure trash. An unwatchable film
No point in wasting your money to see rise of skywalker which should be renamed rise of garbage.
Wait…so you watched the last Jedi and you were excited to watch rise of Skywalker…?
11) The Phantom Menace - (Hands down the worst Star Wars movie I have ever seen. It lacks a good story)
10) Rogue One - (TO ME we really don’t need to know about how the Rebellion got the plans for the Death Star. I don’t need a 2 hour movie about this)
9) Solo - (I love the idea of giving the audience background information about Han Solo and how he met Lando and got the Millennium Falcon, but the movie is mostly boring)
8) Attack of the Clones - (I know a lot of people put this at the bottom of their list, but for me, this has a lot of action that I have wanted to see and it begins the Clone Wars)
7) The Last Jedi - (People I know hare this movie, but I really would like to disagree just a little bit because it does continue my favorite trilogy in the Skywalker Saga. Some people don’t like that Luke wants the Jedi to end, but what else were they going to do with his character, they need to make this movie a little longer. However, this was the worst movie in the sequel trilogy, but it is not a horrible movie)
6) A New Hope - (This is the movie that started it all!
It is a good movie with a good plot line and we get to meet Lando, but there are some parts in the movie that are a little boring to me and just to let you know that this is only my opinion)
4) Revenge of the Sith - (I love how this movie is almost 2 and a half hours and how we finally get to see how Anakin became the love able and hate able villain: Darth Vader that we know today and how Palpatine got his wrinkled face and how he revealed that he was the Sith Lord. There were some issue with this movie, but absolutely amazing!)
3) The Force Awakens - (It seems like a different and longer version of A New Hope, but it is better. I love the introduction to the sequel trilogy and how J.J. Abrams was able to recreate the beloved Skywalker Saga)
2) Return of the Jedi - (This to me was the perfect close to the original trilogy and how we finally see Darth Vader defeat and kill Emperor Palpatine and Luke is now a true Jedi)
1) The Rise of Skywalker - (Some people may disagree with me on this, but this to me will go down as the best Star Wars movie in history.
11.) Attack Of The Clones
10.) The Phantom Menace
9.) Revenge Of The Sith (Sorry, Prequel Trilogy fans but I just watched the Prequel Trilogy about two or three weeks ago and I had a very tough time getting through it and I didn't find Revenge Of The Sith to be that much better than The Phantom Menace and Attack Of The Clones. The entire Prequel Trilogy either had me bored out of my mind or cringing hard.)
8.) Rogue One : A Star Wars Story
7.) Solo : A Star Wars Story
6.) The Last Jedi
5.) Return Of The Jedi
4.) The Rise Of Skywalker

I love that movie!
Hayden christen is terrible? Clown take. That’s how Vader was supposed to be. Perfectly in line with what Vader was in the originals. Again, clown take

@@thepunisher2232 I agree the only thing that I would put is Return of the Jedi 3rd and New hope for 2nd
I'm a Star Wars fan regardless of how much negativity is thrown at the current Trilogy.
