Just double-click the EQ curve to get another handle (like Pro Q, Neutron etc.), and adjust it like any normal eq.

for me, smart eq didn't work on my DAW (Studio One professional). strange.........
Haven't had any issues. In on PC
Whenever I add an instrument to a group, all other instances cannot see the group. Am using latest versions of Studio One and the demo of Smart EQ 3

I’ve been eyeing this since I came out and I swear the reason I haven’t bought it is because I have Neutron.... and that was a total waste of money haha. Never use it. I can tell from the demos this works WAY better though. So it’s not fair to Sonible that Izotope burning me has left me gun-shy on smart EQs in general (outside task specific ones like Soothe and Gulfoss, which I use constantly)
I'll be honest, i use neutron all the time, but i often have to change the tone of sculptor or blend the mix percentage of the compression and saturation to sound natural
I have both, neutron sucks compared to smart eq. Smart eq is so useful if you hate eqing like me 🤣. It’s magic. But I’m sure it takes away part of the art.
Can this go on the master buss in dynamic mode and do a gullfoss-sorta thing? Thanks man!
Yup. Set in on universal mode and add dynamics to taste.
I wouldn't do that. maybe in a mix, but not on a master, if it's too surgical, your mix needs fixing.
for a beginner in working with a DAW....I could follow until the last EQ was placed on the cymbal. .. then you click join group... and then you go back to each EQ and click on jion group ? (I think?) after that I completely lost it.. it's more of a tutorial on how to use the EQ instead of an explanation of how the EQ works and what the possibilities are. 'Walktrough' hmm.. sorry man, didn't get it. thanks anyway (google translate I'm Dutch)

You're killing me with those jump cuts man! Don't play the song in the background if you're gonna jump cut every 2 seconds!
It's just too long otherwise. I try to cut on the beat, but I've been editing with descript lately and it just makes crazy edits for you.
