AHI is Aamna Haider Isani and will bring to you the life, style and soul of my life.
The word AHI may be the acronym of my name, but it independently stands for a species of Hawaiian Tuna. Ahi is an apt name for me. As a Piscean, fish is my symbol and water my element.
But this channel isn't about astronomy. l'll be tapping into my 20-year career as a fashion journalist to cover fashion as a source of self-expression and body positivity. We'll have a little bit of fun in shows like Fashion Fortnightly. I'll be connecting with fashionable creatures in Meet the Muse and reviewing fun, new products in the short FIR - First Impression Review. Aamna 101 will take you into my life while The AHI Icon will bring you an exceptional person, whose story inspires.

I don't know why people think that modest dressing has to be horrible. These are two different things. Aamina was wearing modest outfit but it wasn't horrible like Yumna's. Ayeza (not always through) wears modest clothes but many times she looks stylish.
And not in award shows, in dramas too Yumna should work on her styling. In initial episodes of TB, her dressing was the same as was in Yeh raha dil while here she was representing elite class while in Yeh Raha Dil she was representing someone who is struggling financially.
I agree with you on all points except for ayeza, she’s always horribly dressed.

I liked her makeup tho, usually makeup itna suit nhi krta Yumna pr lekin is bar makeup thek tha but her dresss🤧😵 just saw her pics again and the makeup in photo shoot is good but at awards ceremony its not that nice.. 😐
Oh Gosh please keep the show honest. Why you guys are reluctantl to comment on Yumna. She has an awful dressing sense. The worst dress person that night. And here you are saying that...aww it doesn't take away anything from Yumna.
The black shoes were a total disaster.

I think you guys have been very kind with Yumna. There has been discussion on how Yumna was the most modestly dressed person... I think she could have just worn a long shirt if she wanted to be modest.. also the fact that she kept pulling her wrongly lengthened blouse down... behen wear a long shirt if you are not comfortable.

I completely agree with you. While watching Yumna I got this terrible itch to go and tie her hands so she could stop pulling her blouse. Very sloppy 🙄
I am a huge fan of Yumna's acting but i kind of disagree that her craft overshadows all other things. No doubt she is the numero uno but styling is very imp when u attend events like that and moreover when u are the spotlight and talk of the town . I will genuinely request Khojji to let Y know about the criticism......and take it positively. I so much hope that Yumna's styling was half as good as her acting .

The photo shoot in hotel rooms on the bed is cringe, what are the thoughts of the anchors on this? After wearing a Gown, and all out glamour, do a shoot in a lounge, garden, something that warrants this level of formal dressing !

I like Aamna’s statement about Yumna Zaidi…I totally agree that various opinions on her outfit will not impact her popularity & personality. The fact is she was a winner through & through the night. Like Tabish said her performances overshadow everything else & she will be loved for what she is an artist by her genuine audience. Yumna has no style ! She doesn’t know how to carry herself. Someone commented that her dress looked like a vampire’s & I thought yeah Bang on !
Amna I knew I could rely on your judgment & can understand you didn’t want to be too harsh on her especially as she won 2 awards and one can’t ruin her euphoria! But she should really take guidance & training on how to carry herself with natural smartness.

However bad revealing dresses are, they always end up praising them.
Now that I know, it was yumna’s sister’s brand, and she was just trying to promote it. I feel a little bad for her sister and how she might be feeling. I have three sisters and this just hits home a little hard. I hope she takes this positively though and maybe surprise us with a much better planned dress later on.

@@rimshakhokhar7988 I don’t think so. Why would anyone want to put their bad step forward when it wasn’t even yumna holding a sign board saying it’s her sister’s brand. And as far as what we’ve seen of yumna, I don’t think she’d wear something for that intention, when one knows how brutal the internet can get. To me it looked like they tried to make a statement but it just fell face flat due to hasty planning.
I looooved how you praised Yumna and her talent. I feel her euro trip fashion looks were lovely so clearly she knows what to wear, its just that her sister needs to either design better or make someone else her muse.

Great job amna and khoji for the constructive criticism towards Yumna. She was the centre of the show and should hv dressed according to that. U can dress with modesty and look gorgeous at the same time. Amna plz convey the msg to her that she doesn't mess things for her relatives. I love her a lot and I know she takes feedbacks whole heartedly. She tries different things is appreciated but an award show is not for experimental dressups

Yumna has put her sister’s brand in a bad light by wearing that ill fit dress which has no balance in silhouette. It was not at all for her body type. The lower part looked so bad due to no shape in pants. Choosing velvet and then having no shape in pants such a bad decision.

Seher Khan's outfit was really not up to the mark. It didn't flatter her body type AT ALL. She should have gone with at least some skin show considering her short and petite structure. It looked like she was suffocating in that neck and full sleeves. I don't know why you were mincing your words - maybe afraid of backlash from her new fandom. See this is the problem with fandom culture, be it Yumna or Seher, nobody can say ANYTHING about them even if they are visibly awful in something because these fans just attack you for anything and everything. Anyway, that was a mini rant idek if it is about fans. But point remains, that her look deserved criticism.

I love your comments Amna and tabbi while I do appreciate western fashion it would be so wonderful to see our actresses in our traditional clothes keeping in view of our culture and being ambassador’s of our country and which are liked by people all over the world like Kate and jemima and so many others I could name I think nothing can beat our Pakistani fashions which are so beautiful with exquisite work than any western fashions and so much more graceful I hope our fantastic designer agrees with me and some of the clothes I feel are too revealing which is not accepted in most elite societies I am not narrow minded I have an English mother what one wears privately is their business but not when one is representing our so called Islamic state is another thing please do reply to this. Hassan sir is well-studied, dresses smart and looks good....the comment on him was mean (later changing the words is of no use) and Aamna maam laughing was not proper at all ...he is always courteous and respectful towards her
Hania looked pretty nice but I thought why is she wearing that outfit? She could do much better but maybe she went their being hala as she was nominated as one.

honestly while watching tere bin I got attracted to yumna , I liked her cute face and reactions she gave ,
then people talked about her being versatile as an actress
then i watched her previous dramas
and trust me I really admire her as an actor now

how she gets from one character to other she is so versatile in this
before her i liked sajal as an actress from ptv but after watching yumna performing I got blown away by her skills

her face makup was suiting her natural looks
but the fabric of the dress was not good at all and the cape was also not at its place it was just dropping again and agai n , and being a fan of her that droppjng of cape was embarassing for me but as she wanted to promote her sisters's brand so its fine
plus she could have put some beutiful heels to compliment her look and that lace was so bad

Yumna is a great actor but NO it cant over shadow her outfit. It was a diasaster and she looked funny with that cape. Tabish could have asked her to just leave that cape alone let it rest in the cupboard and go without it. Would have looked much better that way.
No cape , coloured earrings and loose hair would have made her look a bit more decant atleast not funny . I love her but couldnt digest her look.

This is a comedy show more than a fashion review! I love these two because they make me laugh! But truth is they have zero fashion sense or judgement. I recall with Tabish would call out wrong materials of clothes… thankfully he has stopped discussing the dress materials which he has no clue about. The episode was nevertheless very entertaining and I enjoyed their banter on Hassan specifically! They should try a little bit harder (despite the absence of knowledge) to say more than “looked lovely” “looked wonderful” “not appropriate” 😂 - I am giving honest feedback coz I do love the funny hosts!
