The First Time
Such an underrated band.
best performance ever...I saw them open at Studio A in miami for Electric Six...They played as if the venue was filled, but in actuality there were only twenty people there. It was great, go see them if there in town.
i discovered this song in at&t commercial and it took me 3 weeks to fnd the name of the band and had to search through all there music but i was happy
I just love this song. It totally makes me wanna go to a party or something simular to that. Everybody wanna be a popstar! Everybody wanna drive a fast car!
i thought it was whitestripes then i thought it was wolfmother so i pulled out my iphone and used shazam and it told me it was the blue van...thank u so much samsung comercial!!! this song rocks!!! real rock n roll!
Thanks for your suggestions. I know exactly what you mean, for I wouldn't known and love many of the bands that come from countries other than the US and UK if it weren't for luck and chance. Pity that mainstream media seems content to play the usual crap over and over again, while ignoring many great, less popular artists out there. Very Catchy indeed! I love the moment when the second guitar kicks in right in the beginning to make the sound quite irresistable! I believe their third album album "Man Up!" (with Silly Boy) will be released in US in the near future. I've seen both Wolfmother and The Blue Van live and I must say without a doubt that TBV takes the prize.

Other NZ artists you may like include Kimbra, Gin (Wigmore), Goodnight Nurse, Midnight Youth and probably many more that I can't think of. @mudersville you should check out Dizzy Mizz Lizzy and Disneyland After Dark (D-A-D) too. They're some of my favorite bands.
Marc Bolan Guitar with Robert Plant esque vocals is a sweet mix. We need more stuff like this in the mainstream.......it wouldnt actually suck then (the mainstream, that is)
