  • Join me as I explore the charming towns of Prince Albert/ Prins Albert, Klaarstroom, Meiringspoort, and De Rust in this episode! 🌍✨
🚗 Road-tripping through the Karoo, I make my first stop in Prince Albert, a town rich in history, culture, and a thriving arts scene. But there’s a surprise-Mum pays me an unexpected visit, and we set off to explore together! 💛
☕ Next, I stop for a cozy coffee break in Klaarstroom, a hidden gem with warm hospitality. Then, it’s on to Meiringspoort, where towering sandstone cliffs and the winding Groot River create a breathtaking natural spectacle. 🌄
🏡 Finally, we arrive in De Rust, a peaceful village at the foot of the Swartberg Mountains, where we take in its unique charm and the untouched beauty of the Karoo.
Come along for this unforgettable journey through some of the most scenic and historic spots in the Western Cape! 🎥🌿

Wow, I remember that place and it is heart warming that the name has not changed to Sir Albert Lethole, LOL! Some things are bound to stay the way it is without the constant erasing of our common history, bad or good, we learn from the past to speed into the future no matter how rocky the road, all we have to do is install better shock absorbers to defllect the negative and Corrogation or is it "Shacks, the flowers on the perrifary of our 20/20 vision." Handels Huis is a General dealer, sellers of everything, from Sadines in a tin to a John Deere engine. But mostly the gathering spot for old Ladies and Men out of an episode of "Koperasie Stories". Wellwishes from very far away!

Love it! Thank you for watching :) Handels Huis - such an interesting name and one which made my mother giggle when I pronounced it with my ridiculously English accent to boot! ha ha!
