    Ive been using those for probably 5 or so years now. They're great! Much more affordable than moongels which i found had a tendency to melt in the climate im in.
    One difference to note though is that they dont have the mass that moongels have so you might find you need to use more than one to get the same effect. Not a huge deal though because they are so much cheaper.

    I've been using these for over a year now and I really don't like over moongels, like, they get off at the edges and stay glued to the drum just by a little in the center, no matter how much I wash then to get the stickness back

      I've never really had luck getting stickiness back in Moongels after washing. These have been solidly stuck to both top and bottom heads for me. Are you using, then removing, then putting back on frequently?

    Thank you so much Cole for the insight brother I just got some in the mail on Wednesday ❤ way affordable than moongels or drumdots

    Cool! I just got a pack of women's shoe heel protectors.. Bit bigger, but same thing, I'll cut them up and use em! Cheap, just go to a shoe store

    Man I've been a gaff tape fan forever, you know how you make the little "fins" in it?

    This stupid Amazon says it can't be shipped to my adress. Very strange. We the Dutch invented shipping;). Od fellows there with Amazon... And no, no moongel instead. I'll just have to tune and mix better...

    Had to make a quick comment in defence of moongel as someone who does buy them, long ago they would only give you 4, these days they're stuffing more like 8-10 into a pack, and they do come in clear now

      Always fair to play devil's advocate, and fair points!

    Love your playing and your channel but this moongel thing sounds like a personal problem. I don’t even bother washing mine, I just pick up a pack every year or so when I am at the drum shop for something else - they end up costing about $.02 for every hour I’m on the kit. Sorry to poo poo you! Cheers!

      …the blue ones would drive me nuts though so I do get the clear ones

      No problem Craig - I'm clearly in the minority since they sell like crazy. If you buy the clear ones have you tried Drum Dots?

      I haven’t tried the Drum Dots yet - my local shop only has the Moongels. Next time I order from Steve Weiss I’ll pick some up.

      @@craigwilliams501 Yeah check them out - they're a different formula than the regular sticky hands and Moongels, and seem to stick better. Bang for buck I've still been digging the Amazon ones, but I do like supporting the industry, and the guys making Drum Dots seem like good folk.

    Don't buy. They don't stick and just pop off. That's why they cheap

      I've had several on the tops and bottoms of drums that have stuck on there literally since I made this video. What's been your experience?

    • @jnsaudio81
      @jnsaudio81 Час назад

      @ColeParamore they will perform better on a clear tom head...but on a tough snare batter.... if gone thru multiple packs just flying off all the time

    • @ColeParamore
      @ColeParamore  Час назад

      @@jnsaudio81 I've had them on probably 5 different snares, never even had them slightly lift. Also tops and bottom of coated tom heads. When did you buy yours? Maybe the formula has changed or something?

    • @jnsaudio81
      @jnsaudio81 58 минут назад

      @ColeParamore maybe 8 months or so ago. Maybe I got a bad batch... for my toms they are OK, but I'll have to stick with moon gels for snare for now. Glad they work for you

    These are horrible,they don’t stick at all to the drum head
