Great tutorial. I wasn’t aware of that interactive tool 👍 But, with that method, or any other, if the texture that fits the selected UVs is perfectly square one does not need to scale the UVs, just make them fit the boundaries (unless some in the middle need some adjustments). Actually, if the texture fits a rectangle, it’s the same. Only if one has many or different textures inside the same image, then one needs to scale each island accordingly, and for that one opens the texture in the UV window and then there’s a option to snap to pixel. Hope it helps. And once again, your tuts are really good.

When I start interactive UV mapping and try to scale the cylinder object as you do, mine scales in all directions for some reason and I am unable to adjust single plane. Any idea what could be the reason for it?
HAve you tried scaling only one AXIS?
@@polygonpen yes, of course. I was on Cinema4D S26 version. Updated it and the problem disappeared.
i come to a problem when i use UV transform, instead of scaling it disconnects it from the rest of the uv, creating unwanted seams
You need to apply the tool on polygon/UV islands, otherwise it dissconnects as you said.
