but what if its a .dll file? I only see info for blocking access for an application. However, I use a music revording software and in there, I load applications which are .dll files. Typically there is no .exe file associated with it...or at least not that it requires... any ideas?

don't you think the path should be C:/user/program/brabra/brabra.exe? instead of %program%? Because I think %prrogram$ will confuse firewall and will still allow the program to communicate online?
