the only vid that tells me what to do with the rubber backing! should really have read the manual but I watched loads of instructional vids before setting it up. thanks.
Thank you. So it CAN be used on the handlebar. Why didn't Garmin's instructions mention that? (I thought it would/could end up rotated 90°.) Thanks again.
awesome: but what are those small bands for? they dont fit around any handle bars (way too small) (also the rubber o ring just falls right out each time you remove the mount: is it supposed to click in place somehow?)
Glad it was helpful! This is still the standard basic mount supplied with garmins although some product packages also come with an out front mount too.
Does anyone know how does the turning works? I don't even see any screws on the base plate to allow it turn. Glade appreciated if someone can help me haha.!
2013 Boardman Road Comp - stood me in good stead for about 5000 mile and is still going strong. Just upgraded though to a Boardman SLS 9.2 from their elite range as my 1st carbon bike - another great ride. The 2013 comp will be my winter bike now. i would have opted for the SLS 9.4 with Di2 but sadly they didn't have my size any more.
The FormMount looks interesting on KickStarter - I'm particularly liking the neatness of the integration. Having used a range of mounts from garmin, k-edge and superstar components I'd be happy to get hands on and put one through its paces.
Thanks! super helpful and saved me a headache.
Glad it helped - thanks for supporting the channel

Thank you, couldn't be bothered to try figuring out the manual so searched and bang, life saver!
Subbed :)

Thanks for the great instructional video - Best one I've seen on RUclips thus far.
Thank you for demonstrating this. It was a little confusing how it was intended to work, and there were no instructions from Garmin.
Perfect - thanks - wasn't quite sure how to attach the bands to the unit!

Thank you for the great demo video. Watching this in 2022 - are current day Garmin computers still supplied with the same or similar style of mount?

Thanks for this instructional video. The written instructions are hard to follow and I learn best from observation.
