    Incredible power and sound, tremendous subwoofer, the whole house shakes by putting the volume at 1/4 of the power.
    It is a pleasure to watch movies with it and not with the mediocre standard speakers that SmartTVs come with installed.
    But... it's not surround sound. Not at least as Samsung advertises.
    The Q800C has 2 speakers that emit sound towards the ceiling so that it bounces and the effect of the sound coming from that direction is felt.
    I have tested the extensive catalog of movies with Dolby Atmos on Disney+ and at no time have I perceived that effect by trying the different configuration and equalization modes of the sound bar. I have updated to the latest Firmware without success.
    Yes, you can feel how the objects move from one side to the other (left / right) but the sound always comes from in front of the viewer. You will not hear anything coming from the sides or from above as Samsung sells in its advertising.
    I'd like to say that I have not bought the rear complementary speakers because I do not have space at home for them, something that Samsung at no time warns that they are necessary for the effect of the upfiring speakers.
    The Q-Symphony effect that they also promote is not noticeable either.
    To resume, a very good sound bar but as it comes in the box you will not find surround sound and you will need to spend a few hundred euros more on the 2 rear speakers.
    I bought it on BlackFriday for €424, which with the refund of the €100 offer from Samsung, ended up at €324.

    I'm contemplating buying this, I'm wondering once Bluetooth turned on, & iHeartRadio App in open on device, would the soundbar automatically find radio App, when the soundbar is turned on?

    Good afternoon, have you compared 700c and 800c? Is it worth overpaying for 800c to watch a movie?

    I have a Q800C connected to a QN90B via EARC and it keeps having random micro disconnects. It is as of the Soundbar re reconnects the TV. In the LED msj it appears as if I have switched the audio input to EARC from another source. Does anyone have an idea of what is wrong or how to solve it?

    Can you choose to connect the subwoofer using wire instead of wirelessly just wondering ?

    • @TheOneBestProduct
      @TheOneBestProduct  7 месяцев назад +2

      @leoncloud6683, as far as I know, the subwoofer has no ports on the back to connect via a wire. It connects wirelessly to the soundbar.

    Specification Check!
    The HW-Q800C does supports Dolby ATMOS Dolby True HD Dolby Digital Plus Dolby MAT (*ATMOS Music)
    DTS: DTS:X DTS-HD HRA DTS-HD MA DTS Express DTS 5.1ch
    Finally, Samsung comes out with a sound bar that almost matches the Encoding power of my stand alone Sony A/V receiver. However, to be perfectly honest, the unit is underpowered. 360 watts is not enough to drive all the speakers at maximum capacity. Volume has and continues to be an issue when watching analog programming.
    Samsung 9500S rear "true wireless" surround speakers. The two drivers per speaker are slightly impressive, however, lacks a tweeter. Instead, a full range speakers are used. Why would you design a Dolby Atmos surround speaker and not have it match the drivers in the sound bar???????
    On Screen Display: What is taking so long to initiate? Throw a darn graphics chipset onto the board.
    I currently own the Samsung HW-T650 model that I purchased in 2020 and has held up quite nicely. I have noticed how the subwoofer is cutting out when the sound bard is connected in Bluetooth mode. Choosing Arc, the problem is non existent. Connecting via Bluetooth increased the volume to analog programming by 10db.
    I rechecked the audio specs via Samsung's vs Best Buys website and they are a match.

    Whats differnets with hw-q800b ?

    • @TheOneBestProduct
      @TheOneBestProduct  Год назад +2

      The Samsung HW-Q800C is the successor to the Samsung HW-Q800B, and it is generally a little better. There are no notable differences between these two configurations, though the Q800C has an a bit better overall sound. The Q800C has an improved Q-Symphony if you have a 2023 Samsung TV.

      Hi @peterb6071 !
      As far as I know, the group of letters after "/" is used by the manufacturer to identify the country market, letting us know it's a unit built for use in the Australia, New Zealand - this is for XY. Other example: ZA - made for USA, ZC - made for Canada, XU - made for UK ...

      Only if your Samsung TV was manufactured in 2020, 2021, and 2023.

      As long as your Sony TV has an HDMI input, and Bluetooth/ Wireless technologies. What is the year that your Sony TV was manufactured? The Symphony feature is incompatible. I have my Sony Bravia TV connected to my Sony A/V Receiver. Does Sony have a poor selection of sound bars? Is this why you are considering other manufacturers?
