It was carried out by an older gentleman who is a great watchmaker, but perhaps has slipped a bit in his old age. Very nice fellow though, and he said if there were any problems to bring it right back.
I think its a nice looking watch. Perfect for a new collector. I would take it back to the watch maker and ask him to blow out the dial for you and get the little bit is dust and hair out of it for you. I also have small wrists and I really like that size and style of watch.
Literally didn’t notice it until you commented! 😅 it’s not very noticeable in person. It’s not a perfect example, but looks the part for under $2,000. Cheers!
Hi, Mike! You may be right. Usually, I buy watches that are original, etc. Being that this one was priced so low, I expect it probably had service hands and perhaps a service dial as well. Still looks good, but maybe not an example for purists. Cheers!
You personally have to value the brand, the style, the history ans so on, knowing that every mechanical watch from amazon 5 percent of the price you paid has netter specifications and are more durable.
2:26 With this closeup view ... it doesn't look like they did a very meticulous "service"!

Yea he should clean the crystal and dial

Thank you! I agree. I think he’d be happy to take care of that for me.
Cheers!
Nice piece, but the dust/hair under the crystal on that light dial would drive me nuts.

Hi Elis. Shouldn't the dial be either a swiss, t-swiss-t, or t-swiss made-t? The hands looks strange and the bezel.
