Cris Carter is a HOFer, yes, but in TSB Hassan Jones is much faster and Anthony Carter is much better overall than CC. Cris Carter would only come in if conditions change to give him an edge on the natural starters.

I own the game on NES and I know his stats are somewhat bogus but I always start my boy Carter 80 nonetheless! He makes the big catches.

Hell yes! Then do you sit Hassan Jones with that 63 REC rating? Curious about your backfield: do you go with the default Walker-Fenney?

I go Carter 80 at WR 1, Hassan at 2. RB1 Walker, AC at 2 catching passes out of the backfield.

Also side note - Cris Carter was not very good in 1990 which Tecmo is based on, so he sucks in Tecmo. If the game was released a year later he’d probably be much better.
