- Maria and Ulf Norberg play Sergei Rachmaninov's Symphonic Danses, transcription for two organs. Maria Norberg plays on the church organ (Grönlund) and Ulf Norberg plays on a digital organ (Allen). Live recording from a concert in Hedvig Eleonora church, Stockholm, Sweden, 120924. Recorded and edited by Pär Fridberg.
Absolutely brilliant idea! This piece works excellent for the organs.
I just can't get over how fantastic (and criminally unsung) Maestro Ulf really is!!!
I agree! He is a world class player. I wish his wife had some links of her own. I have a hunch she's as talented as he is.
WOW! Just wow.
Helt fantastiskt spelat. Superbra video. *****
Fantastiskt bra spelat, inspelat och filmat!
Very exciting!
That Allen sounds amazing!
So true: I'd have sworn it was a second console of the main organ for it sounds far too powerful to be any kind of electronic instrument. Incredible!
it is remarkable that Allen could do this.... almost side by side and it sounds GREAT! Wish they had been reversed on which insturment they played..... his body works better on the other organ
Time to take a nap after that. LOL! well done.
Extraordinary performance ! Thanks for posting it .
Magnifique ❤
Bravo 👏👏👏
S P E C T A C U L A R ! ! ! ❤️ 🎶
Looks like they are playing from the piano duet score
Underbart!
Wonderful! transcription by Ulf himself?
Who transcripted this?
Great concept and performance, but the poor miking robs it of clarity. This is true of a great deal of organ recording. Please redo with a sophisticated professional recording job!
It sounded spectacular on my playback system. Quite thrilling actually. I don’t think they were using the mics on iPhones.
