The crazy thing is, Kendrick can't do what Eminem can. People might THINK Kendrick makes better singles, but that's exclusive to their small circles. Eminem's corniest tracks are made for the purpose of attracting a wider audience, which expands across the entire world. Kendrick just had his first real hit of that caliber, and it was centered around dissing the biggest rapper and using a traditional Westcoast sound that he's not known for. He's great at layering bars like Em, but his aren't typically as abstract as Em's. There's a difference in creativity there. Em's not afraid of saying something corny or clowning himself for the hell of it. Some people hate that, but a majority of people enjoy that. Eminem's range of types of songs, sounds and flows are well beyond Kendrick's. Kendrick's flows are great, but you can tell how much he studied Eminem to get there. He's even admitted that. Eminem's sound more perfected, while Kendrick's often sound pieced together. On top of that, MTG is his big, dark, scary diss. It's inspired by Stan and Eminem made a career off songs like that and worse. Kendrick's content might be more relatable in the hood, but that means nothing on a global scale.

Those are few tracks from each album. If you listen to those tracks, you'll see how wide his range is. Even if some share similar themes, the flows and overall sound of the songs are very different. You just never know what to expect from a track. Kendrick switches his sound up from album to album, too, but he doesn't go too far from his comfort zone. Eminem isn't afraid of trying something completely different. That's why he has such a large fan base. It's not just because he's white. That's why most times when people are talking crap about him, they say they used to be a fan. Because most of the time, they really liked one of his styles and he changed it. And then he makes a song with one of his old styles, to get those fans attention again. Then switches.
On Love Game ft Kendrick, Eminem's 2nd verse was far more complex and layered than Kendrick's. They both were storytelling, but Em's had way more detail, punchlines, wordplay, rhyme schemes and patterns. Kendrick's was good but it didn't do nearly as much as Em's. I know I'm gonna get hate and be called a Stan. That's fine. I welcome it. Because you can check the stuff I said. If you, personally, enjoy and relate to Kendrick's music more, that's cool. Just know that most of the world don't live in the hoods of America. The majority of humans like a show and to be entertained. That's what Eminem does. In many different ways. And a lot of these mfers that be talking crazy about Em, be the same ones listening to him when they're alone. They just don't like to admit it because it's "corny". And I'm not trying to hate on anyone, or insult anyone for their opinion and preference. I'm just sharing my thoughts.
