This was played by a 12 piece trombone choir at my wedding 43 years ago. They were all friends of mine. We were music majors together in college. It sounded like music from Heaven to me and my husband as he watched me walk down the aisle. ❤

I got married to this, a recording of a full brass band that I was in with Salvation Army roots.

this sounds so beautiful, i'm only slightly bothered it's not in the original key.
I get what you mean, I have perfect pitch and it threw me off a bit the first time I heard this but it's just too incredible and beautiful of a recording to even care.
Do you suppose that certain keys are easier for trombonists to play, and some that are difficult to play? Was that the reason for the transposition?
@@mikeq7134 might be easier on their range for the higher register
@shepherd_basic Thats what I was thinking too 😂
@@Dooky_Shoes this piece is only playable by pros because the range is insane. It's easier to play in tune in some keys than in others on the trombone!
