Davy Jones is an cephalopod in the Pirates of the Caribbean, but that's not the legend.
You'll usually hear Davy Jones in a full phrase - Davy Jones's Locker. That just refers to the bottom of the ocean. Any ships that sink go to Davy Jones's locker.
No one is completely sure where that naming came from, but it's been around for hundreds of years.

Episodes: for the rest of this Arc that'll be okay if you do it in twos. It would be best however to configure it so that you end on episode 45.
Episodes 46 and 47 go together. They look like filler, they're not.
Actual filler starts in episode 54. Fun thing though, this filler actually includes some Canon information that you will need that doesn't appear anywhere else.
Watch it on your own, it's decent, just keep in mind that The majority of it is filler and any information you take from there, excluding the Canon scenes, should be ignored. Some will say there's foreshadowing, there is not.
If instead you would like to include it in a reaction - I recommend you do because commenters will ask about it - I've noted the episodes and timestamps that you would need, in case no one else has.
Episode 54, The last 5 minutes or so has some cannon information. This is repeated in the beginning of episode 55 so you can skip 54.
Episode 55 from the beginning until 7 minutes 40, slight variation, replace the non-canon character with Usopp.
Episode 61 from 13:05 to the end. Basically everything after the second eye catcher.
What I have seen people do is combine that with episode 62 and 63. Handle it however you wish. Just remember that people will ask.
