    Udaan remains Motwane's peak. He is one of the good filmmakers of modern times.. but his first film remains a high even he cannot repeat.

      @MahaTalkiez Udaan remains his best work. Black Warrant was elevated by it's final episode. Otherwise, it was pretty average.

    Me and a friend of mine used to meet every day and just talk about movies, literature and theatre and how they are evolving. We have a debate, an argument and an agreement too. This one made me a bit emotional and happy. Thanks for this THR India.

      अरे भाई A24 is known for producing small budget high quality movies, the literal definition of Anurag & Vikram's movies. और ये दोनों वैसे भी mainstream bollywood में नहीं आते, so stop lumping them with the likes of masala film producers. We just weren't destined to have Phantom.

    Thankyou for not being in a rat race because of you both our days of growing from little child to a adult men made us learn to live in a world of reality and not like Big B films where in the end somebody will come and save us thankyou so much for making us fall in love with cinema no matter most people don't go cinema to watch your films but i have always been and will going to be watch it till i live.

    Camaraderie between filmmakers. Something we need more and more of desperately today in Bollywood. Power that’s 2+2=5. That’s how the Scorsese and Corolla’s and Lucas’s made their films. This is the need of the hour. A collaborative entity like a company run by filmmakers.

    JUBILEE is the best work of Motwane. It was engrossing and more engrossing . Anurag remains an enigma and though popular he needs to back it with more contemporary work to balance his hype.

      @@alwaysajaymahale3442 They said that Fight Club is one of their major inspirations as they were budding filmakers in late 90s...Also Anurag mentioned that he watches Fight Club before he shoots every film...
      The Comment basically here means that Profit making Producers basically triggers them to inspire from Fight Club even more cause Fight Club has a stunning commentary over "Capitalism" and the overemphasis on Profit, Loss and Money making...

    Anurag understandably over the moon to have Motwane back because the quality of his film sans motwane went to the dogs ...
    Now that Motwane has shown his mettle individually and proven to be the better filmmaker at current point of time, I hope he brings back Kashyap back to his glory days

    Poor audio quality. Couldn't they just check after two minutes of shooting whether there are no technical glitches. Or correct during post-production.
    Also, why do these interviewers ask these juvenile questions like when did you last cry and such stupid stuff. It shows the interviewer herself has no understanding of films and doesn't have any good questions to ask.
    What could have been a great discussion on their journey together as filmmakers has become a therapy session.

    Anurag always complaining about industry that he can't movies but vikram still make movies he want to.

      because they both have different scripts and genres.. vikram's themes are urban contemporary and they have market in bollywood.. where as anurag his movie themes are rural and bold which don't have enough market.. anurag can write some life of slice movie and producers are ready to fund him but he doesn't compromise and don't shift to another genre.
