@@AnkitGupta-u1n Black Warrant's last episode was it's weakest point in my opinion. The tone shift was weird. The episodes before that were fabulous though.

Me and a friend of mine used to meet every day and just talk about movies, literature and theatre and how they are evolving. We have a debate, an argument and an agreement too. This one made me a bit emotional and happy. Thanks for this THR India.

Anuraag is here reeeeeaaaaaal anurag is so nice thank you so for excellent space created and may be first talk show seen twice many still hard to digest anuraag what he js but he is one phenominal human to see life from his point of view 🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Camaraderie between filmmakers. Something we need more and more of desperately today in Bollywood. Power that’s 2+2=5. That’s how the Scorsese and Corolla’s and Lucas’s made their films. This is the need of the hour. A collaborative entity like a company run by filmmakers.
JUBILEE is the best work of Motwane. It was engrossing and more engrossing . Anurag remains an enigma and though popular he needs to back it with more contemporary work to balance his hype.
Need more of this man!!! Need these two to make more and more movies please. I’m so fucking done with remakes and shit sequels and shoving Nepo kids down our throats. These 2 and imitiaz and all the other talented people, please make what you want and give us real movies man😭
I really liked this concept of this type of interview, getting two genuine friends in the interview. Please keep this format going forward. Also liked the jaideep ahlawat and vijay verma episode
Lovely interview. I just have one thought. Maybe put some posters from cult Indian films in the back. It would go so well with the show. Just a conatructive thought. Great to see these two legend in such a light and heartfelt conversation. Great interview.
@@alwaysajaymahale3442 They said that Fight Club is one of their major inspirations as they were budding filmakers in late 90s...Also Anurag mentioned that he watches Fight Club before he shoots every film... The Comment basically here means that Profit making Producers basically triggers them to inspire from Fight Club even more cause Fight Club has a stunning commentary over "Capitalism" and the overemphasis on Profit, Loss and Money making...
Anurag understandably over the moon to have Motwane back because the quality of his film sans motwane went to the dogs ... Now that Motwane has shown his mettle individually and proven to be the better filmmaker at current point of time, I hope he brings back Kashyap back to his glory days
Poor audio quality. Couldn't they just check after two minutes of shooting whether there are no technical glitches. Or correct during post-production. Also, why do these interviewers ask these juvenile questions like when did you last cry and such stupid stuff. It shows the interviewer herself has no understanding of films and doesn't have any good questions to ask. What could have been a great discussion on their journey together as filmmakers has become a therapy session.
because they both have different scripts and genres.. vikram's themes are urban contemporary and they have market in bollywood.. where as anurag his movie themes are rural and bold which don't have enough market.. anurag can write some life of slice movie and producers are ready to fund him but he doesn't compromise and don't shift to another genre.
Vikram and Anurag are so candid and fun. But looks like the person interviewing them is so uninterested, detached from the vibe those 2 guys are sending out...
Not unlike Ramesh Sippy post Sholay Kashyap has somehow has lost his moorings after his finest work #gangsofwasseypur Hope this 'Ram-Bharat milaap' will inspire him.
I have never seen kashyap so happy. 1st interview he isn't talking sadness disease pessimism and hatred
Thats also because the questions are very well framed...in line with the theme of the interview
This is the perfect example of how introverts can be super social and energetic when they're with people who share similar interests and passions.
Their chemistry together is wholesome. Great friends
So so happy to see Anurag not wheezing or struggling to breathe while talking! Good job on the big lifestyle changes 👏 he seems so much happier too..
Udaan remains Motwane's peak. He is one of the good filmmakers of modern times.. but his first film remains a high even he cannot repeat.
He proved himself with each film.. lootera, Bhavesh Joshi, Jubilee and recent Black warrant all his work masterclass
@MahaTalkiez Udaan remains his best work. Black Warrant was elevated by it's final episode. Otherwise, it was pretty average.

What a lovely conversation... Two of the finest film makers of India..
We need the 7 hour director cut for “Gangs of Wasseyur”
There is already 6hours, original cut of 8 hours should be released
Has to be the best show since THR started ..well done sneha also taking a backseat and letting these guys emotions unfurl properly
It's really fascinating how filmmakers like zoya Akhtar and vikramaditya motwane make such great films in hindi without ever speaking the language
Farhan Akhtar writes Zoya’s dialogues and he is too good! Both of them make a great team!
@disha3520 ofc
Udaan, Ugly, lootera, Gulal the golden era....I always watch udaan, gulal when i am down to zero and slowly regaindls..❤
Two auteurs being cute is so soothing.
Happiest Anurag interview ever

Peak brotherhood it seems, so wholesome, ironically both are known for their intense and dark cinema!
Why is this only for 1 hr ??????? Soooo sooo good.
Its been 1 hour of me smiling!
Phantom could have been India's A24, shame that vikas bahl had to be a creep!
Bhai agar bollywood simple blockbuster like mission impossible and ocean eleven nhi bana lega woh bhi badi baat h tum kaha a24 ko compare kar rhe ho
