Quite possibly the most helpful RUclips video I have ever watched. Literally a perfect explanation on how to set up my Rode NT1 and Focusrite 2i2 audio interface. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much this is the first walkthrough I fully understood! I do have a question since my set up will be similar to what you have in this video … what cable did you need to plug the interface into the macbook? I have a macbook air with only USB C ports so will I be needing a converter of some sort for this set up?
Hi, I just got this microphone I’m using a goxlr as my audio interface. I can hear my voice in my headphones twice, is any way to fix this any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
Is it possible to create an asmr like sound with this mic and audio interface? I have both of these but I truly can't figure out how to change the mic so that it pics up on everything but doesn't create a lot of white noise.
1) The Signature Series (just released) doesn't have an internal preamp, it's XLR only. 2) There are so many versions of the NT1, we tried to make a single video to capture them all. 3) Clip Safe 4) Track multiple mics at once 5) Better monitoring (NT1 5th-Gen doesn't have a headphone jack).
Your confused. He said in the start and he also wrote in the description that this is the RODE NT1 SIGNATURE SERIES and not the 5TH GEN... Also you can only use the 32bit by USB TYPE C connection and not the XLR Mode. If you use APPLE BASED PC then open the Audio Midi Setup and set your mic to 32-bit manually there. If on WINDOWS, then you have to open the Sound Panel, go to the recording tab, find and double click the Rode nt1 5th gen mic, go to the advanced tab, then set to 32-bit... Good luck bro

I'm having a similar problem, it sounds like my voice is fading in and out of volume, did you manage to find anything that helped?
It looks like you have the microphone upside down in the shock mount. Unless I've been doing it wrong. Does it matter if it's upside down?
its a good positioning
Will it screw into the DS2 desktop studio Arm when connected to an XLR Cable???
Rode NT1000 can work with focusrite 2i2 3rd generation? Please your advise
Try rode nt1 5th generation with SSL 2+, thank me later
What mic are you talking through here?

why do you need a interface when the mic has a built in one which is better
