This is a great video. It’s good to see an honest take on EDC that is not based on consumerism.

Chiming in on the lack of quick adjust on the Sinn 104, there are two workarounds on the market now: the new Sinn clasp with ratcheting microadjust, and the Steel Reef folding extension link. I've tried both and my personal preference is the Steel Reef - while the Sinn OEM clasp is solidly built, my nitpick is that the extension doesn't match the aesthetics of the bracelet, and I found that without the microadjustment holes, it would either be too loose or too tight for me when not using the ratcheting system. The Steel Reef only folds out to a single position, but it gives you about 4mm of extension and the finish and design match the H-link bracelet near perfectly. They're both somewhat pricey items, with the Steel Reef being the cheaper of the two, but at least there are some options now!

Solid choices. Nice video. Congratulations on your child and a tip from a fellow father: the red light on your flash light is going to come in handy once the little guy starts sleeping on his own. You can use it to check in on him without waking him up. Enjoy the journey. Allet Jute

Great discussion, thanks for sharing! We think alike in many ways. I own (and use to varying degrees) the Lilliput, SwissCard Nailcare, Harvester, Spirit MX Clip and Rovyvon A8.
BTW, I've found that I prefer the Rovyvon E8 to the A8 for the dual fuel and stronger sidelights. I keep it on my keys. Since it is relatively floody for close range illumination (mainly indoor), I chose the high CRI version. I carry a pocket thrower as needed for outdoor/long range illumination.
The E8 in high CRI has a lovely beam. And since built in batteries have a service life limited to about 300 charging cycles, I run it on a 10440 which I recharge and replace as needed. I save the built-in battery for when I want full turbo or the strongest possible sidelights, which is to say rarely.

    I absolutely love your videos!
I like you for the longest time didn't see any reason to carry a pliers based multi-tool. Then I too bought the Victorinox Swiss Spirit MX Clip and I haven't been able to put it down. Since then I've also bought the larger brother the Swiss Tool MX clip, (awesome tool), I'm also going to get the MSBX here shortly, but I think that will do it for my multi-tool obsession for a while and go back to obsessing over knives again. 😁
P.S. it's great to see you've gone for the small fixed blade, I've been recently thinking of carrying one myself but like the multi-tool didn't think it was for me, but we'll see!
Once again love the channel/videos keep up the great work, cheers mate!

Very nice, EDC video. I do not know how I came to see this video in my feed, but I am glad I did. My current multi-tool is the Victorinox Swisstool X. It is heavier than the Spirit X, but I prefer the scissors and blade shape. I too didn't think I would need a pliers based multi-tool, but the pliers come in handy more than I thought. Your flashlight choice intrigues me. Does it turn on in the pocket? I sort of want to downsize from my 18650 battery flashlight, but want more power than a AAA sized flashlight.

Mbro, I did think any of the functions of the Rovyvon A8 white, red, UV are gimmicky. It's my daily carry flashlight and it's awesome. The UV can be used to charge watch lume, authenticate currency and documents, as well as check for hygiene standards. The only downside being the built in battery. I've accidentally dropped mine from waist height onto hard floors, and it lives to tell the take! 🎉

@@arisalphas274 I’ve put mine through the washing machine a few times and it’s survived that too. The only thing it didn’t like was when I used it as a light to clean my oven… but my oven wasn’t fully cooled as it turned out. It did not like that, had to buy another!

I'm somewhat skeptical about "multitool cards". Can one apply adequate grip strength on such a thing while tightening bolts for example?
The Spirit X is awesome but with a few cons. The woodsaw is quite short, even shorter than what the 91 and 93 mm SAKs have. The handles can get slippery if your palms are sweaty. My Spirit X (without the clip) came with a velcro pouch and time is not merciful to velcro so I rather bought a cheap knife pouch from Decathlon that the Spirit X fits in perfectly.
