Thanks. I love Caronado ,The Hotel is beautiful. A friend of mine in Northern California, has a niece and family who owns a home there. They are Neo-natal surgeons at a hospital in San Diego. I like Old Towne, kind of quaint, love the Mexican food and frozen Margaritas. LaJolla a beautiful downtown, and beaches. Great job!
Off to a flying start on your new channel. That was a fantastic video to start off with 😁👍 really appreciate all the tips as they make my trips so much better with your knowledge.
Thanks to you Jay Jay I have been to many of these places and I learned about a couple more for next time! Maybe a sign-off could be "Welcome to San Diego!"
@@JaycationSD You could probably get the city of SD to sponsor this channel. Your content is on point and upbeat. Just sayin, have Dadcation give them a call as your manager. Nobody reps SD like you.
This channel is great and just what is needed!! 😍 San Diego deserves its own channel/ local influncer for sure. It is a huge tourist destination and there definitely aren’t enough videos out there. Good luck with this channel I know it’s going to be great 💪🏽
This is like Jay Jay's ongoing love story to his hometown! I can't to learn more about San Diego through the eyes of a hometown local! Best wishes for your new channel, Jay Jay! Before you know it, you'll be getting accolades for this channel as well! Love this community that you are building...we love travel...love the content...and we love the Cations (aka Momcation, dadcation, brocation, etc!)
Congratulations on the NEW channel!!!!!!! Wishing you all the success in the world!!!!!! You are an amazing person and the perfect person to show the world our beautiful city! ❤
Thank you! I live in Temecula so even next Saturday I am just driving to Valley Center to get a photo of a house I am insuring and then go Mountain Biking. My Tip to get around downtown and all the beaches is just to bring bikes with your family and a body board backpack. Forget Uber for short trips. You can still dress up at night and go out walking or maybe take an uber then.
I loved taking the Midway tour, the Bob Hope Memorial as well!! And of course I love Little Italy for all the delicious pizza places!! Great job Jay 👏 😃
i love candy, lol. especially the old stuff. san diego zoo looks fun, but a little pricey. I love going to the beach though. lots to see and do in san diego. have a good one, alita
Last week I rented a jetski for the first time from Paradise Point. Was amazing. Born/grew up in Poway. SO many great childhood memories on the Seaport village carousel too.
Horton Plaza was my mall during high school days, so sad it is gone now. Need to check out UTC as it has been awhile since I have been up there. My two favorite taco shops are Taqueria Los Chuchys on 4th just south of Market and Lupe's Mexican Eatery at Linda Vista and Mesa College.
Had a work trip to SD a year and a half ago loved it. Definitely one of my favorite cities to just walk around in. Stayed at a hotel near the airport. First day just walked around Little Italy which was cool because their street market was going on then walked down to the bay then towards the Midway lastly looped around to the Gaslamp area. That was a good day, need to go back soon.
Great video JayJay. We gonna be there at end of august into first week of September. Staying at residence inn at Marriott. New to us this time as we usually stay at Manchester hyatt. But now with a newborn, Hyatt didn’t really match our needs. See how it turns out at Spring Hill
Great premiere video!!! You already have 418 subs. Hoping it will be over 1000 by the end of the weekend. Had to rewatch when you got to UTC because you mentioned Din Tai Fung and all I could think about was XLB. Mmmmm, my fav. 😂 Fav SD Mexican food shop? I know it's touristy but we loved Cafe Coyote. Also love Casa de Bandini but that's in Carlsbad. They used to have one in SD but I think they closed it. Gosh, miss SD so much. Hopefully when I get back to SD we can meet up for a meal again.👍
Loved the video! We just moved here last April and we already love the city! I also love how much SeaWorld has improved even in the past 3 years! Perhaps you could do a video on best places to stay? We have family who likes to visit and they would love a video like that! Anyway, thanks for the amazing content!
I just subscribed! I really enjoyed your Top 10 Places to Visit in San Diego! I will definitely add San Diego on my list of places to visit! I just googled San Diego, there's a flood alert in San Diego, are you going to cover that?
Nice! We've never been, but we'll have to go sometime. Any plans to stay at any of the unique hotels in town? If we ever make it there we have to know where to stay! 😀
I’m supposed to visit with my mom in a few weeks and the storms really did a number on the county. Any recommendations for the next few weeks based off of current situation?
I can see why expats are moving to Bonifacio Global City (BGC) it looks like this place has a lot to offer such as; stores, restaurants, entertainment etc. By the way, I really dig the OVO Philippines Owl T-shirt it looks good on you. And the Ube Sago shake looked delicious! (Please avoid drinking that shake everyday while in the Philippines, you don’t want to get too fat! LOL) And it was a lovely surprise seeing your family on the vid too. Anyways, thank you Jay Jay for sharing this amazing video with your viewers. I Love, Love it!❤️
Yup, watching this makes me wanna make a return visit to SD! 😀
Haha only an hour from that godforsaken town
Yay, San Diego content!!! Thanks for making the new channel 🎉

On June 8th Seaport Village is having a Daycation event from 3pm-7pm. You should live stream or do video if you're in town.

I thought the pandas were no longer at the SD Zoo?
Yeee finally I get to see some SD content!

Salk Institute. Even if you're not into architecture it's an amazingly beautiful building, and then you can check out the paragliders by Torrey Pines
Definitely gotta try roxys tacos in downtown San Diego and taquera los chuchys
Nice! We've never been, but we'll have to go sometime. Any plans to stay at any of the unique hotels in town? If we ever make it there we have to know where to stay! 😀

Mission Beach is huge. Larger than Oceanfront in Virginia Beach, Virginia

Well, I see that they had public transportation as well
I bet they had a Rey Mysterio Jr.'s mask as well. Love the 619 area
Is it still safe to come to San Diego or is it overrun with homeless also
💙💚💜

Is something strange in the neighborhood, who do you call? Ghostbusters!!!
Just subscribe to the new channel 👍 we love the content
Oh my gosh. I was born and raised in San Diego. Left in 89 to get out of an abusive marriage. Never could afford to live there now. :(
Sorry to hear.🙏🏽
